More Dance Studio Jacket and Pant Photos

More photos of the new Dance Studio Jackets and Studio Pants.

The new Studio Pant and crop colors. Studio Pants now come in regular and tall lengths so us average-height people don't need to get so much hemmed off, if any.  I know my store seamstress is able to save the drawcord at the bottom but I know not every store does. The regular length inseam is 31.5" which is just about perfect for me at 5'5".

So I am not all that impressed with the dsj. Is there something I am missing?

Are those inkwell WUs in the 998 picture?

@ anon 4:39 pm - It's an ok jacket but I don't get the hype, either. Maybe I'll change my mind when I try it on again.

I love my DSJ from years ago. Glad lulu is bringing it back.

I just went to my local store (Biltmore in Phoenix) and they had DSJ in all 4 colors - inkwell was selling the fastest. Very happy to get the black. I have regretted for a few years not getting the black and this one fits even better than the old one in the shoulders, so I went with my TTS. I am generally an 8 in tops (sometimes a 6 in the flowy ones), 10 in defines and the old DSJ, but went with an 8 for this new verrsion. I tried on the 10 and it looked good too, just a little extra bagginess in the chest are (I'm 36a/b and didn't fill it out well). Usually my broad/muscular shoulders are what determine my size in tops. I'm a lanky 5'9" 135 lbs, 6 in bottoms if it helps anyone....

I'm wondering which pair of DSPs to buy (LLL is killing me this month)! What kinds of things go with plum, beside Rasp glo or black? Would I get more mileage out of the inkwell ones instead?? Agghh, I want them both!

Do you think they will have these in studio crops as well as pants? I like the crops.

@ 5:29pm - I think blue moon goes well with the plum too!

I like plum with grey and inkwell as well as
RG and black like you said. Obvi it works with white but my favorite is pastel pink like Pretty pink or pig pink. :)

Yep I saw them in store today in crops-all colors!

I wasn't loving the DSJ when I first saw the pics of it either but I tried it on today for the first time. I'm a relatively new Lulu fan so I didn't see it the first time around. The fit is very flattering. I'm 5'4", 115 lbs and typically wear a 4 in both tops and bottoms. The 4 was very snug and the 6 worked better for layering. It was very flattering and slimming but stretchy at the same time. I wouldn't pay $128 for it but would consider it on markdown if it makes it there.

Looking forward to tonight's upload to see what else is in store. :)

I think any shade would go with plum - it's almost a neutral really, maybe with the exception of something like very green. But rock it with pinks, blues, yellow, pop orange, faded zap - why not! Go for it.

My wallet is in so so much trouble!! :'(

@ anon 5:29 - i have an older pair of plum WUC and i wear them with EVERYTHING - pale colors (blues, pinks, yellows, neutrals) or bright jewel tones, or any dark color really except red. It's a very versatile color!!

I am still not convinced by dsj yet but who knows it might grow on me and of course by the end I am bonking my head to the wall for not able to find one...
I think plum is a very neutral color for bottom; you may even try to wear it with all those orange/coral tones as well. :)

I love the DSJ but was it this expensive before?!?!

DSJ is an unattractive jacket. I would like to get some input on why people love it so much.
