Funny.. just to see what htey would say I asked the Educator at my store if the DSJ was a size up item and she said no.. I tried it on the I was a 2 size up in the Plum!!

looks cute, but I will save my money. I have it on very good authority (ahem product designers ahem) that they are bringing back quite a few old styles in 2014. So unless I see something I absolutely must get, I am saving up for the items I miss the most!

Really hope the vest is in Canadian stores already too because I was hoping it was going to be uploaded last night and was disappointed when it wasn't. Anyone know the price of the vest?

Do we know the price of the vest yet? The cream is very pretty.

Re: the off white colour
On lulumum's blog she says the colour is Angel Wing

If anyone got size 4 midnight iris speeds and wants to trade for my size 6, please let me know!! I need the 4s as 6s are too big :/ My email is serena.lee@eleganthf.net

FINALLY received my sea check pacesetter and just laughed. I have no idea who would consider making a skirt that has zero give where the waist band meet the skirt. This was absolutely comical. Didn't they learn from the nimbus one that just came out? Back these will go. Cute print, but completely non-functional for any sort of athletic activity. I would certainly look cute if I just stood in place though. I'm not willing to size up, just to make up for lack of stretch and then deal with excess fabric. Epic fail.

The vest retails for $168

All right @Amanda, spill it! What old styles are they bringing back so that I can pace myself and save for those that I miss too. :)

WHERE is this vest being sold?! Has anyone seen it in stores? I don't see it on the Canadian or US website. Dying to try it on!!!! And buy!!!!

They are $168

i just saw the vest in long island store... the neck is amazing - so warm and comfy. I bought it (its is pretty pricy at $168), but now that i am looking at it the zipper is very cheaply made - very crappy in comparison to last year's vest. I am going to return it next week and hope that they will reprice it lower...(wishful thinking?)

Yes! Please spill! Thanks for sharing.

saw lots of WMTM stickers at the register today at my local store so think there will be a lot of items going to WMTM this week!

@ Amanda - oooh! Hope they picked 2009 to emulate and are bringing back the Energy and Spirit pullovers. I would also like Feel Good pants to come back, too. I know a lot of people would love Cuddle Up Jacket and Pants. Lulu Pant IIs. The list could go on and on.

Yes, please Amanda, any hints you could give us would go so far to tide me over!

Also, can you ask the designers to read this blog so that they know how much we miss the Define (amongst so much other stuff too?) I do not understand why they did a Forme 2 instead of just going back to the Define.

Anyone know if the mesh underarm areas on the Forme 2 are just as big and bad as the first?

hmmm I dunno, I'm not loving this upload... The vest looks ok but I can live without it. I'm recently very impressed with some of the Athleta's skirt pants though.

I like the vest but not for $168. I'm not paying $168 for something with no sleeves!

the midnight iris wunder unders are completely sheer, and I tried them on in multiple sizes. sorry gals but anyone who thinks these aren't sheer are showing it all in class. and I am super disappointed because these could be so beautiful.

@ anon 1:57 pm - I was studying the website this morning trying to figure that out myself. I'm not a fan of too much mesh, if any, in the pits of my jackets.

The new forme II jackets don't have the underarm mesh at all!

Tuck and Flow LS and Race Me LS Review:
Tuck and Flow was beautiful and soft in the Angel White stripe. However, in my normal size 6 the arms were definitely too tight and the neckline didn't sit right with the flowiness of the shirt. The $80 price is not justified with this shirt.
I received the Race Me LS today. I was so excited to try it on, as the one item that I have purchased in plum. It was VERY scratchy and uncomfortable. It looked great on and fit TTS, but it was scratchy to the point that I would never reach for it, no matter how cute it looked on. Just wanted to let you all know!

I'm another one who wasn't all that impressed with the upload. I do like the colors a lot, but the designs just aren't that great. I agree- bring back the 2009 designs...as long as you also bring back the 2009 fabric and stitching quality, etc.
I am starting to really freak out....I bet the Inspires never return to their compressive glory. So sad. I don't know what else to wear. :(

I just picked up a black DSJ in a 6 at the Oakville, ON store and I LOVE it! I had a 4 in my basket a few times last night, but due to the even split about whether to stay tts or size up, I just couldn't complete the purchase.
Here's my try on review: The 4 just felt too restrictive and everything about the 6 was
perfect. I didn't sacrifice style over comfort by sizing up. Its ribbed from a few inches
just below the bust to the bottom of the
jacket so it hugs your body nicely. As
well, the detailed puckering in the arms
and chest keep it close to your body too.
All my other LLL jackets are 4's, including
the Define. I would say the biggest
difference between these two slim fitting
jackets is that the Define is snugger in the
chest while DSJ is snugger around waist
and hips.
For reference, I'm 5'5''.110 lbs and 34 C. Hope this helps someone who's sitting on the fence about whether to size up or not. :)

any try-on reports for the plum in the flow crops? thanks!

Just an FYI I tried on the in the flow crops in plum today. They gave great coverage! I am 5 7 and 145lbs. The size 8 was great. Passed a deep squat test :) you could see the outline of my underwear but couldn't see thru at all!

I tried on the DSJ today and the Ed said it has been a size up item. She was right!

@ anon 7:52 pm - I agree. I just tried them on tonight. They are super nice.

The vest is very cute but way over priced as with everything lulu!

The photos with the vest are from the Wayne Pennsylvania store.

I'm really liking the heathered plum stripe SS Swiftly. My wallet is aching from all the great items this month!

@anonymous 7:52 PM - thanks! i almost ordered them the other day and now the 6 is gone - i think my size 8s in inkwell are too big so thought i would try 6. maybe i should order 8 just in case!

The Dallas, TX Northpark store had the plum and angel wing vest in store. Very cute, but I probably won't spend $168 for it. :(

I got ready to pull the trigger (birthday $!) on the Tuck and Flow slalom stripe and see that they are TODAY out of my size 8 online. I'm new to this. Any suggestions that don't include paying 50% more on ebay? Do they ever get more stock online? Can I call Guest Services and beg?

@Amanda Nice to hear! I hope the define jacket will make its way back!!! I recently bought a pre-owned define from ebay (my very first define), and I LOVE it!

So bummed:( I'm
Normally a 10 in tanks and tops and I could not zip the 12 vest! If you have a chest this may not work or you may have to go up a size or 2

Anonymous said...

I am a 6 and had to go up to an 8 in the vest. It's super tight in my regular size and I couldn't layer anything more than a thin shirt, which wouldn't work for winter.

I got three vests this morning, all but the split pea, guess you really need to try them on they might run different I'm 6 in pants & 8-10 in tops bra 36DD size 10 fit if you really want to layer lots go up one size
