My store tonight had the coastal tank made of swim fabric in white/black, pop orange, and faded zap. I was not a fan of the fabric at all... And the tank looks just like the 105 singlet.
LOVE!!! The cornflower blue NLT.. This month looks so cute! Can't wait for Monday!!

After looking at the video on lulu's YouTube, it appears that it is a cornflower blue 105 singlet, but definitely not a NLT

Hi guys! I just got my Journey Crop in, and I have a question. The gusset is set REALLY far back in my pants. I can see it from behind far back. I'm curious to find out whether that was a design flaw or just a defective pair. Anyone able to help?
Other than that, I LOVE the pants. They're super comfy and flattering. They are almost full-length pants on me. I am 5'3" and I have long legs for my height...so I imagine any other petite ladies would be in the same boat. Still love em, though...just wish that the gusset wasn't set over my butt. :/ Thanks for the help!

Hi LLA! Could you do a comparison of Cornflower Blue and Porcelaine? From this picture of Cornflower Blue, it looks quite similar, with Porcelaine perhaps a tad "brighter blue" and Corn Blue may have a little white/lavender in the mixture. Thanks!

Saw the video on Instagram. Love the cornflower blue and stripe shown above. Thanks for the screenshots! I had to view it a couple times before I registered anything!

Mehhhhh. Nothing exciting for me. Didn't we just have blue moon? Cornflower looks way too similar :'( I'd be interested in the striped power Y if it were normal luon (probably won't be)

@yogibabe - As soon as I get ahold of a piece of cornflower (or someone else does) I'll put up a comparison.

I agree completely about the gusset being too far back. I almost returned the crops for that reason, fearing too much CT. I took the plunge though and did a hard weights and cardio session and didnt have any issues.
I think they run a 1/2 to 3/4 size large though. Im usually a size 4 and they fit on the large size. I was afraid sizing down would cause CT due to the far back gusset so I kept my size 4.
Im 5'8 so they work fine as crops. For anyone petite though they may be too long. Great crops, but def have some design issues if youre petite or prone to CT with the triangle gusset.

Loving that scoop neck!

@7:13PM and 9:12PM

Funny you shld both mention that. I just got the new Run For Your Life crop ( in hyper stripe inkwell/plum and noticed the exact same thing today when I wore them. It was uncomfortable. Hmmm. Wonder what's up with that?

This is kind of a random off topic question, but did anyone else notice that the sleeves on the inkwell Dance studio jacket are slightly shorter than the other colors? I swear the cuffs on that one kind of cut into my hands while the others are roomy -- am I making this up? Trying to decide whether ordering another inkwell would fix this issue or if they are all cut this way. THANK YOU LADIES!

Another OT question -- has anyone heard any rumblings of when we will see the first rulu half zip of the fall season? Those are my favorite pieces every year and I am really hoping we see a cornflower rulu half zip!

This is bad news for me - I am an eternal sucker for blues (especially in the Porcelaine, Blue Moon, Cornflower range) and running vests get me every fall. I went light on the Blue Moon even tho I loved it, and I'm not sure there's yet been enough time post-SeaWheeze for my husband's heart to withstand a Cornflower binge. To be fair, in New England, I do wear a running vest pretty much every run from November-April, and a girl needs some variety! A cornflower blue vest would look amazing with all my black base layers...

Anonymous said...

Oh! I for sure thought that was a NLT. The blue and stripe would be a stellar combination.

I still really like the color so will probably get the 105 in the singlet.

I'm Anon7:13 with the Journey Crop question. Thank you for the feedback! Hmm. seems like a design flaw, then. Dang-- I was hoping it was just my pair and I could swap them out. I bought the solid black waistband. You guys, too?
I agree that they run big. I am also a 4, and they were bigger than what I'm used to. Maybe LLL purposefully cut them big to cut down on the sheerness?
Thanks for the feedback!

I really hope the tank under that blue tank in the first pic is an Angelwing Hyperstripe CRB! The piping is different from the Power Y tank in the second picture. I need more patterned CRBs in my collection! haha

!!!! Loving the stripes. Hoping we get some of this on the upload tomorrow.

OT - anyone who has seen the new Karma LS, what is the neckline like? I have only seen the one photo the LLA has posted here and in it, the girl had a scarf covering up the neck. I do not like crew necks, or else I would have gotten the Tuck and Flow. Here is to hoping it is either a V-neck or scoop.

Loving that power y! Luckily I am not a fan of that blue which seems to keep reappearing much to my disdain lol- porcelaine, spry, corn or whatever it is. I went way overboard with plum inkwell etc and need to stop!!

Regarding gusset- really wish they would just go back to diamond/oval. The triangle just isn't as good and it is too far back on a lot of them! Reason I Have been buying my crops at athleta, tj maxx and other random places.

Still wishing for a camo CRB....

I saw luon Power Y's in my local store (Philly) yesterday! Hoping this means the luon versions are coming back as part of the permenant collection!!

Try on report at home. I got my large order and sadly, I have to return most of it.

Chai Time pullover (gray) - I can't believe I scored this on line. Someone must have returned it but I ordered size down (normally wear 4 in jackets, ordered 2 in this) and it fits perfectly, slim in the trunk, arms tight but no different than size 4.

Energy Bra in the plum, inkwell big stripes - too small, I ordered size 4. The stripe placement was good. I love the straps in the back but I'm more of a Free to Be bra (size 34B). Don't need that much coverage.

Charcoal 105 Singlet size 2 and 4 - I couldn't decide on size so I ordered both. Not a fan. Very plain in my opinion. I love the old 105 Singlet with the Scalloped trims.. so cute. The material is lightweight but not really special.

Scoop Neck tank - Raspberry Glo Hyperstrip and plum/inkwell/blue stripe. It is NOT the same Scoop Neck tank that I know and love. I have 10 older version of the Scoop Neck tank and this is made of Luon Light. The body part is flimsy. Hated it.

Pique Will Pants - OMG, love it. I ordered size 2 and it fits perfectly. I wear size 2 / 4 pants depending on fabric. For anything with denim, size 4, Inspires size 2. The fabric is Rulu, soft and thick.

CRB plum/inkwell/blue stripe. Love the print. Will keep this to go with my Plum WUC (from 2 years ago).

Have they made plum wunder under crops? I haven't seen them online - do you think they will?

Oh that new power Y looks cute, even though I think I've reached my power y limit for at least a little awhile longer here. I've been trying to tone down the addiction the past month or so, I'm starting to realize I have so many more workout clothes than regular clothes! I have nothing to wear out except lulu! haha. I picked up a plum swiftly tank though because I couldn't resist and it's great. Also grabbed a tatatamer in the plum/raspberry glo stripe, so cute and can't resist when TTT's get cute colours.

I'm tempted by those plum tights! I'm looking for a pair (or two) of tights for the fall for cycling to work. I've been holding out because YogaSmoga sneak peaked some new full length tights and they're material is a bit thicker and warmer for chilly mornings. I wish lulu would could out with some cycling crops/pants like they did last year(or was it the year before?)

Lastly has any one heard anything more rumblings about a new dark green? I'd be addicted for sure..

I want to know this too. I have purchased and returned four pairs of plum bottoms because they are just not right! Show me the Wunder Unders!

OT: Ran the Disney half yesterday in my Sea Check Shake & Brake shorts, Rasp Glo swiftly tank and older Paris Pink Deep V sports bra. Weather was hot and humid (so pretty sweaty when it was all done). Got back to hotel and collapsed on the bed leaning against my pillow. Got up a few minutes later to find the white pillow case stained bright pink. The stain was not just from the location of the PP bra, but from the whole Swiftly tank. Wow, that was disappointing to find the Rasp Glo bleeding. Knew there was a risk that the PP bra could bleed, so purposely wore a pink tank (even though that bra has been washed many times) just in case of colour bleeding. Miffed that I had to choose the tank colour specifically for fear of the colour bleeding bra. I sure did not expect the tank to bleed. Egad. I thought LLL got the colour dyes fixed. That swiftly has been worn/washed about 4 times with no previous problems. I usually run in hot weather at home and get very sweaty, so it's not as though these garments haven't seen a good workout before. Very disappointed in LLL quality - and this dye quality issue has been failing for far too long. Shame on you LLL, and shame on me for keeping buying the inferior products. I have started buying Lole and find myself reaching for their tanks over my many LLL tanks. Cheers to all the other brave runners out there who competed in the heat and humidity.

Will trade my inkblot WUs in size for for a pair if the piqué wills in a 4 or 6

Anonymous said...

I noticed the inkwell size 8 fit like a 6 in all the other colors offered.

Has anyone tried on the qi pants?!

They are so cute but they are so short! It's too bad because I would pay the 98$ because I love the zippers! So cute!

Picked the the exhalation pullover! Love it! Unfortunately they only one size left! I made it work! Anyone else hear if it's coming in more colors?!

I'm keeping my plum crb! Even though it's thin!

@ anon 5:15 pm - I ran the DL Half yesterday, too - in fact, the Dumbo. It was super hot.

I wore a swiftly for that heat also - the Spry swiftly tank.

My raspberry glo Mod Waves CRB had a bit of the purple self staining the first time I wore it for a run. I think the Raspberry Glo luon bled so not too surprised to hear the Swiftly bled, too.

Hi all, is there an upload tonight?? I'm itching to buy something!

Anonymous said...

I guess after last week's debacle, they've pushed back the upload time?

LuluAddict said...

@ 10:12 pm - That is what I hear - it's supposed to be coming tonight.

Anonymous said...

Lulumum is saying GEC confirmed there will be an upload but they won't say what time. I hope that doesn't mean 3am.

Anonymous said...

???? It's at 10:12?

Um I want like 50 things!! But can't justify buying any right now. There are unfortunately more important things to spend $ on than another pair of WUs. I REALLY want that black & plum space dye scuba but i live in a tropical climate so it would get worn a few times a year at most. I am happy that the "old" lulu seems to be coming back more though. It's hope the quality is as good as the designs!
