Upload!

Not too many goodies uploaded tonight. Canada got the Luxtreme WUs, which people either find fantastic or sheer from the reports I am reading so far, so I'll have to wait for those. I did order the new Energy tank in Blue Moon. I love the bra so I am hoping to like the tank.

Canada also got Astro pants in Plum/Raspberry Glo Light/Hyper Stripe Raspberry Glo Light. I am liking the Raspberry Glo and Plum combo.

The US got the Raspberry Glo Light/Black Mod Waves SE Cool Racerback. I bought this tank last week (along with the Spry Swiftly tank) and just love it for running. The mesh back is super cool. I found the sizing very similar to Cool Racerbacks. The tank is a bit shorter than a CRB.

What did you order?

Got the Blue Moon, Slate commuter denim, and Plum scubas. Sad no CRBs were uploaded in the new colors!

anybody having problems trying to purchase things online? I inputed all my info in and the "Complete Your Order" button doesn't seem to work. Clicked on it 6 times. No change!!

Slate denim Scuba for me!

Nothing ordered... Although I do really like the dot ta-ta tamer...

Lulu has the WORST site ever. I cannot checkout with Paypal - and this is about the tenth time I have had this problem. Sooooooo frustrating. I simply don't understand how they manage to consistently infuriate their customers.

@anon 10:28 pm - I used paypal tonight. Try doing it from another browser, like Chrome instead of Firefox or something like that. Maybe that will work.

I got the afterglow/plum hyper stripe scuba. I love small striped scubas!

would love to see a color comparison between spry and blue moon

BTW, I picked up the WU Full on luon in store last week because I checked in the mirrors outside the fitting room and they looked okay. They are tighter knit and more opaque than before but when I tried them on at home in-front of my well-lit mirror and did a slight bend, tag and skin was visible.

Anon 10:28 here - thanks for the suggestion LLA. I tried several browsers and several computing devices. It is the same thing that happened the upload of the very green power Y. It's just a bummer. Okay - enough of my rant. Have a good night all!

Doesn't matter what browser I tried: Safari, Internet Explorer, Chrome.... None of them work. Can't purchase anything.

Nothing for me tonight. Gotta check my stores for the lux WUs this week. Kinda tempted by the plum scuba but we will see.

Their dressing rooms are getting dimmer and dimmer. Nice try, Lulu. Just fix your fabric and we can go out in broad daylight in your pants. Until then, plenty of other decent brands out there for you to lose your formerly devoted fans to.

I got the plum Astros, hope they are opaque. I have plum WUC and they are my favorite ever, I love anything plum. Fingers crossed for a solid plum or hyper stripe plum crb!!!

Just the Mod Dot TaTa Topper. I've read good reviews of this one & if I like it, I'll probably get the spry as well.

I'd like to see a color comparison with plum and bordeaux drama. Loving the new color but is it more of a purple or a burgandy?

nothing for me tonight. love the color combo on the plum/inkwell happy hatha bag, but it just looks too enormous to be practical.

would also love to see the color comparison between spry, blue moon and possibly angel blue? love the way those look compared with the plum.

any guesses on when we might see plum wunder unders uploaded? possibly next week?

I'd love an Energy tank fit review when you guys have a chance to try it on!! :)
Also, I have a question. I have the Track Attack shorts in the black stripe. They have a black liner. I wore them on an 8 mile run last night, and the liner felt so weird. It was like the cut of the liner was too short, and it pulled down the back of the waist to a weird spot. Nothing rode up or rolled up, but I was acutely aware of the liner and waistband and their position the whole 8 miles. I have plenty of room in them and bought my TTS that I wear in Groovys and all WUC, Luxtreme crops, etc., so I feel like it's prob not a sizing issue. Is it possible the the brief is cut wrong or the liner is just off in my pair? I'd love to know if anyone noticed this? Do you think LLL would let me exchange if they don't work for me?
Thanks :)

I got the Plum scuba -- my local store had the slate and blue moon, but no plum or plum hyper stripe.

I also ordered the blue moon energy tank to try, and the solid black mod moves CRB. I agree, LLA, the MMCRB has quickly become the tank I reach for first (I have the power purple and cool breeze already) -- the mesh really keeps me cool. I've been choosing it over my swiftly tanks for the sweaty workouts. I prefer the slightly shorter length. The Energy Tank looks like it has similar mesh (and similar seaming lines in the front, which I find to be very slimming), which is what made me want to try it.

I would also like to see a color comparison between after glo and pinkelicious. They look identical to me.

LLA- did you see the interior print in the black happy hatha hour bag? super cute!

This is OT-I received my YogaSmoga crops in the mail two weeks ago, I have washed them twice and they still have a very over bearing chemically smell to them, has anyone else had this issue?

NOT A THING! Waiting for new colors in more interesting tops. Those Hip To Be Zen halters are terrible beyond words. I am sorry, but who is responsible for this bizarre coloring blocking? Also, tired of primary colors. Want more sophisticated fall pallette.

I'm irritated by this Luxtreme WU business. They aren't getting $90 from me because they finally made their fabric opaque (if that is even the case). I have new YogaSmoga tippy toe leggings that are totally opaque. Lulu won't be profitting from their "mistake" with me. I don't like how this is being spun into a scheme to create more buzz about their pants that were faulty to begin with. Quietly fix the problem and don't tout the replacement product as a NEW fabric concept. It's insulting. Almost like they think there are no other competitors out there that we can (and have) turned to for respectable pants. Hire a better than decent CEO and let's get this train moving back on the right track!

Tempted by the full-on WUs, but I did see a few reviews saying they were still sheer. Any input anyone?

Anonymous said...

There's something about the light grey bodice and dark grey waist band of the soot light denim scuba that makes it look shorter than the other colours. Anyone has feedback on its fit and whether the material is nice and soft? It looks pretty rough and stiff in some photos. Any feedback on the fit and feel of the plum scuba? In my opinion, the love red looks a bit washed out (ie faded) and the new blue and purple stripey ones look somewhat juvenile. I wish lulu would put out some more interesting prints/designs besides stripes stripes and more stripes!

LLA can you comment on the full on wunder unders? Very excited to get them after such a long wait, but can't risk having to return given i live faaaar away from the US / Canada!!

Anonymous said...

I so love the new scuba colors but am a bit worried about the fit. I'm 5'3, 112lbs with 34B chest. Would I be a 4 or a 6? I have the Define in 6, but am worried the bulkier scuba may look sloppy if it's too roomy.

Anonymous said...

The new Scubas are pretty, but have they returned to their old length or are they still short? Some of the customer reviews on the website indicate that they are longer now, but they still look pretty short on the models.

I look forward to seeing more of these colors. Love Plum and Blue Moon!

Nothing for me tonight. nothing really got me excited. the last thing I picked up, was the very green Om me home jacket, in WMTM. Was a lot more than what I wanted to pay for a short jacket, but very green is my fav colour from Lulu. I decided to bite...using all the gift cards Lulu gave me, for defective items that fell part. Thats the only reason I could justify the jacket. :) Most of the reviews online were useless....to try and figure out what size to buy! Why oh why...do people write reviews and say how tall they are and how much they weigh...but cant be bothered to add what size they purchased?? LOL... Or wasting time writing a long review saying something is awesome, but not explaining why its awesome!? not helpful! Love the rewiews...where people say their size and add what size they picked up=very helpful! :)

FYI to all of those folks having trouble processing their orders - I just chatted with GEC and they are having trouble processing orders for the full on luon on their website (weird issue, right?) But the tech team is working on it. Never heard of this item specific issue before, but if you remove that from your cart the order goes through. On the other hand, they'll probably be sold out of the full on luon by the time I check back :(

Anonymous said...

Still a little new to how LLL releases new items.... Since August 1 is in a few days, is there a chance some new items not uploaded this week would possibly hit stores before online next week? Fingers crossed for a plum/ rasp glow hyper stripe CRB!!

Jamie Barba said...

Oh, and I'm interested in the halter. I'll be interested to hear/read reviews on it.

I had the same issue placing an order from both home & work computers. On a live chat with an educator: "It seems that guests ordering the Wunder Under *Full-ON Luon are unable to place an order". Her solution was to give me a call once the issue has been resolved.

Hah, I noticed that the dressing rooms are super dim, too. Ridiculous.
So how would the Luxtremes be different than just a Luxtreme running crop, other than the lack of zippered pocket on the back? Haven't we been lectured against wearing Luxtreme crops for yoga because they aren't "meant" for that? The construction of the seams and crotch will be the same, so I find that utterly ridiculous.
Losing hope that there will be a Soot Light Track Attack short. It would sell out immediately. Perhaps I could be distracted from that travesty if they came out in Plum and not any more of these silly colors that I'm done with. Love them all in small amounts, but enough already of the candy-cane striping. With my luck, the Plum shorts will have candy-striping on them :(

Does anyone know if the Spry Blue pace setter skirt is 2 or 4 way stretch? Thanks in advance.

Anonymous said...

I ordered the energy tank in angel blue, the spry tata tank & pace setter and the new stripe scuba (plum). If the energy tank provides good support I will buy the black too! It is cute :)

The prettiest new Mod Moves CRBs are on the Australian site -- does anyone know if the Australian product releases generally make it to the U.S.?

Hey girls, I have a question about the current fit of the scuba hoodie --- I have an old scuba (bordeaux drama) from before they got rid of the side panels, and in that one a size 4 fit perfectly. During the winter I ordered a scuba stretch in a size 4, but I thought it seemed tighter and the sleeves were a little short, so I assumed I needed a size 6 and sent it back (I never tried on a size 6 to know for sure).

Has the fit of the scuba stretch changed since last winter? I've read a few reviews that they are longer again. So should I order a size 4 (my old scuba size) or a size 6?

Thanks!!

anon 3:47 My store just did renovations and they made the dressing rooms lighting dimmer.

The only good thing I saw in the store was the new Sea Breeze shopping bags.

I anyone is curious, I just bought the Luxtreme WUCs at my local Lulu. I bought my tts 4 - they definitely feel tighter and more compressive, but they still fit me well, and I didn't see any sheerness in the back when I did the bend test, and I did it both in the dressing room and in the brighter, main dressing room area. My butt is by no means tiny either :)

disposable income girl said...

Anon @ 3:47 - that's funny about the dressing room light. I HATE it. I feel like I'm in a cave. I'm sure there's a psychological reason for dim light in dsg rooms - probably people feel they look thinner & more likely to buy.

I went in to the store today and grabbed a pair of the power lux WUC. There is zero sheerness to the pair I got and I love them. However I am a big believer that there are different batches being of different quality. They had a pair of grooves that felt pretty similar to my 2010 pair- the rest were yucky. I actually don't think it is really all about sheerness. The poor quality material bunches and just feels cheap. In my experience, there is some awesome LLL out there but I am super picky about what I buy. I know others have had poor experiences in store but I have to say the eds at my store are so awesome. I often walk out without buying a thing and they are always nice as can be. :)

4 way:) saw it today! Cute

Poor dressing room lighting is not solely a lululemon problem. I find it common to many stores. I just come out into the main area where it's better lit to do a bend test (not full-on toe touch, though) but enough to tell whether I can see my underwear through the pants.

@anon 6:28 am - I just posted on them. Loved them and plan on buying a pair of e crops but that might have to wait until I stock up on luxtreme WUs. ;-)

@anon 6:31: I am 5'6, 34b and around 115 lbs. Bought the plum scuba in a 4 and it is perfect! It fits better than my size 4 fossil blazer pattern that has the side panels - that one is too bulky under the arms and a tad too short. This new plum is long enough and did not feel constricting at all, imo.

Anonymous said...

@ anon 6:31 am...I am 5'5", 115 lbs and 34C. I wear a 4 in the Scuba Hoodies and they fit perfectly. According to your measurements, I think the 4 would be the right size for you. :)

Anonymous said...

I am 5'5, 32B and around 117lbs. Bought the commuter denim/ slate in Sz 4 and it is a tad too tight for me as a winter jacket as I prefer more room to layer underneath. Hope that helps...

Melissa Saka said...

They were shorter during winter (scuba stretch without lined hood) but the recent ones (scuba stretch lined hood) are longer in length and you should take the same size as your Bordeaux scuba. I size up for the ones during winter as well but I'm back to my TTS!

Melissa Saka said...

I actually prefer the luxtreme version between the two! Though both have great coverage in my opinion, the luxtreme is more compressive!

Melissa Saka said...

I also had some concern about the texture of the commuter denim scubas, however the ones that I felt in store (the one with the yellow hem) was incredibly soft, possibly softer than the regular fabric! I will be getting a slate one in te mail tomorrow and will report back!

Anonymous said...

For those who asked about the scuba sizing. I am 5''3", 115 lbs, size 34b, size 6 in defines and size 4 in CRB. I tried on both size 4 and 6 scuba in denim. The 4 fits a tad too tight. I had a tank on underneath and I felt uncomfortable stretching my shoulders forward. The length was ok but it would be too tight if I had on any running long sleeves. Size 6 is much better, free movement, no bunching, length a tad longer. Better fit IMO.

I think the spry blue pace setter is quite cute, but I already have the angel blue one. I noticed that the yellow zipper in my fast track short bled all over the spry and white. The shorts were in my sailing bag and were not soaked in water, just dampness.

I meant the draw string not the zipper in the fast track shorts.
