Spry Onsie and More Mens Items

I like the Spry Speedy onsie the best of all the colors.

I really like Soot and Sizzle together.

Aquamarine and Sizzle. I would have never thought of putting these two colors together but it's not bad.

Sizzle Focus V but not sure about the shorts.

Love Red Three Hit Henley and a Bangbuster ?!?

Sizzle looks great with Soot, you're right. I think sizzle is especially great on darker skin tones too. I'm pale as can be and unfortunately just can't rock bright yellows.

That runsie is growing on me. What's wrong with me? Still won't buy one, but I bet it would be cute for races.

Dude is rocking that Bangbuster if you ask me, but I dig headbands on men for some reason (if it's for athletics anyway). Maybe it's because i go to crossfit and a lot of really built guys there wear them. Haha!

@ anon 5:30 pm - yeah, it definitely looks good with a tan and on darker skin. I am too pasty for it.

2 questions:

1. Does anyone think the singlet will be repriced?

2. How do people use the loo in the runsie?!? Like in races? I literally can't get my brain around running in this...

dude is totally rocking the bangbuster =D

Runsie is cute as a bathingsuit coverup or with flip flops on the beach. Not for running. I dont think I've ever seen a single runner in a onsie at a race. Ever. Just not practical, especially on the long run.

I think the guy looks great in the bangbuster! Better than I do in it.

OT Question: Has anyone seen the Wandering Yogi Halter in stores yet?

Anonymous said...

I tried on the Runsie on yesterday. I am usually a 4 sometimes a 2. I tried on a 4 and it was too small, 6 was sold out. I have a long torso and the top half wasn't long enough. I really can't see workout out in it, the fabric isn"t absorbent. I have the Onsie from last year in bruised berry and I wear it out and about only.

I've seen a few guys in bangbusters and some of them totally rock them. Loving that. I think the thick elastic band between the shoulder blades on the runsie is supposed to add getting it on and off easily. Runsie could look ok on the tennis court.....but not on ME!!

Agree with the comments above, he looks good :) headbands are meant to corral long hair, and this guy's hair looks kinda long, so it makes sense!

Fit, handsome guys. Very fit buddy there in the red & soot is one of the few guys who can pull off that headband/bangbuster.

@ anon 8:52 am - He's cute. He could wear a flower pot on his head and still look good. ;-)

OT ! I just bought a Bliss Tank in Surge for a decent discount price at my local yoga studio (I think it is from last year or even from 2011 ?). I'm wondering if that color may bleed. Anyone knows ? It is made of Power Luxtreme and Tencel fabrics.

They also had Define Jackets on sale in a light pink color, but I'm on the fence about it because you can kind of see the mesh through the back panel. I never owned a Define so I would like to know if that if something normal.

Thanks a lot :)

I have a sizing question for LLA or any of her readers who may be able to help. I don't live by a store and want to order the Serene shirtsleeve top. I am 5'5", 121 lbs. lean and fit with a 32D chest. I wear a 6 in Crb's, power y's and swiftly tops. I wear a 4 in the Runder Under Longsleeve, and the Longsleeve devotion. Any thoughts to whether I get the 4 or the 6 in the Serene short sleeve?

@12:49

DEFINES???!!! WHERE, TELL ME NOW!!!!

I would KILL for another define. I don't even care what colour it is. The forme is SO horrid and makes me feel like I am wearing a cheap superstore/Costco knockoff :(

Btw - yes, the back pannels are normal. I urge you to scoop one up ASAP. If they never make these puppies again, you won't be disappointed. If you ever get bored (gasp! Of the define!?) you can make a NICE profit on eBay, everyone is crazy about them.

P.s. please tell me where you saw them, lol <3

@LLA

How you given in to purchasing the Forme Jacket?

I haven't bought one on both principal, and the fact that they make me feel like a cheap generic... But I am craving a new lulu jacket, and I hate the contempo *sigh...

Also, any info on the Define comeback? My heart aches for one...

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 4:47 pm - I have NOT purchased a Forme yet. :P However, my sister did and it was like a knife in my back, lol. I do like the Contempo a lot better than the Forme. Yeah, I don't know what happened about the rumor about the return of the Define. I guess it wasn't true which is a bummer. I really like the Studio Surf jacket a lot. I also like the Pump It Up jacket I got a few months ago. Those have been the jackets I have been reaching for the most lately.

Im between an 8 and 10 on top and tried on the onesie in a 10. Could not get it up over my broad shoulders however it would have been super cute! Asked ed who was wearing it how she went to restroom and she said it was difficult. But I want to try on the 12 just to see.

And pacesetter skirt in nimbus stripes with polka dot waistband is super cute on!!!

I agree with LLA, since I have been missing the Define, I bought 2 Studio Surf jackets. If you can get your size, they are still $89 on wmtm. Decent deal. I think the fit is very close to the Define.

I caved and bought a Forme, and now I hate it and will be selling it on eBay. Only had it 2 months and wore it twice. Every time I put it on I feel like I have football shoulders. They are so big and pointy.

There have been some good colors that have come out in the Forme, but I did not buy them because it really is not the same as the Define. Lulu missed making alot of money off me for these colors: Cool Breeze, Soot, Love Red, Fresh Teal, Inkwell, Nimbus stripe. Bet I am not the only one.

If the Define is not coming back, at least make a better fitting short jacket and scrap the Forme.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 8:11 pm - the pointy shoulders bug me, too.

Anonymous said...

I second the pointy shoulders comments! You get them on the contempo slightly too. I love my soot light contempo but find I get a lot of static wearing it. Weird.

My love red crb bled on my pop orange crb. Not horribly since I didn't notice it at first but still disappointing.

Just to offer a different perspective...

I understand many people dislike the Forme...and I agree the overall quality, especially the fabric in the lighter colors, is inferior to the Defines and Strides of pre-2010.

However, I wear my Forme often, sometimes over my many Defines and Strides. My shoulders are tiny (and hips wide), so I love the balance the squared-off shoulders of the Forme provides (looks much better on me than the round shoulders of the Define). That said, I wear conservative suits (or at least a suit jacket) to court most days, so perhaps that explains my draw to pointy shoulders!

In a perfect Lulu world, the Define (and Stride) would make a come-back and the Forme would improve its fabric, zipper, and arm length.

Speaking of Defines, can anyone comment as to the risk of buying fake Defines on eBay? I browse the listings often and I'm starting to get paranoid thinking every other jacket looks "off". Am I crazy? Or are there that many fakes out there?

Anon@6:03, I can't imagine trying to use a porta-pottie at a race while wearing a Runsie. Those things are tight for space, and the maneuvering it takes to get out of a one piece outfit would be difficult. And there is no way you could discretely pee behind a bush during a trail run in one of those either!

I was able to score a size 4 $54 Track Attack skirt in double stripe spry blue last week. Now there aren't any more size 4's in that color, plus they raised the online price. Feeling thrifty, I decided to try the Ivviva spry Swiftly tank equivalent to save some bucks. The Ivviva tank seems a little thicker and less likely to snag than the Lulu Swiftly. It is substantially shorter than a regular Swiftly (maybe 2 1/2-3") and about an 1 1/2 or so shorter than those shorter Swiftlies that came out earlier this year. The armholes also come up higher.

Anyways, the two things look great together (love Spry, such a pretty color!), and even though the skirt doesn't have any pockets, I figure I can use it for my weekly track workouts where I don't need to carry any gels or anything.

The Ivviva tank size 14 works fine for me because I'm small: 5 feet, 102 lbs., 32D. I think I'll go back and ordere the long sleeve Spry silverescent top as well. It's always fun to save a couple bucks when you can!

Anon 1:32, I made my first eBay purchase this past week. A "define". The pictures looked authentic but the jacket was not. Disappointed. Seller offered to refund once she got it back and inspected it for damage. As if I would even try it on. Still waiting...

Has anyone seen the twin stripe/mod dot pacesetter skirt in a TALL.? Maybe in So Cal stores? Thanks

Anonymous said...

OT, but I noticed a pair of speeds on eBay in the camo/paris pink color that have 16 bids now and are up to $202! I cannot even believe that someone would pay that much for a pair of running shorts. I would be too scared to run in them. I'd probably have to display them in some sort of cabinet. Yikes.

Forgot to share that a couple of days ago I received the shipping notification from Yogasmoga for the two tippy toe leggings I had ordered in April, one in India Blue and the other one in Carbon (black).

my boyfriend totally had a black bangbuster that he wears to crossfit all the time :) he looks much better in them than i do! I look like im wearing a swim cap when I put one on.

Thanks, anon 4:04. That's a bummer. And it means I'll probably stay away from Defines on eBay. I have a few from the store to compare but don't know if I'd be able to spot a fake.

I also love my Ivivva swiftly tank in spry blue. It is shorter but it's a nice change from my longgggg CRB's. I wouldn't do yoga in it but for gym or sunny days, beach etc it's great. I might also return for the long sleeve in spry :)
I'm curious to see what will be dropped on tonight's upload.. I'm thinking I won't be spending any $, but you just never know :P

i ordred my yogasmoga April 16. Still no shipping notifications :( Hope the wait is worth it.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 4:42 pm - are you waiting for something other than crops? I thought most everyone got their back ordered crops by now. Email them and find out what is going on.

Anonymous said...

I ordered a pair of Slimmie pants in a size that was out of stock. Seems like they're going through all the orders of a single style before moving on to another.

I see that people saw the runsie in stores. i didn't see them today when i was in a VA store, and i can't find them online. definitely agree with everyone about actually running in them, but i think they look cute on all the models, so maybe something to wear around town in this heat? if anyone knows how to find them online let me know!

This has got to be for the oriental market. It looks on the money for tiny girls with narrow shoulders. The slightly retro styling would make it a fun piece for dancing and clubbing.

Marti said...... I have Yogasmoga crops in the pink, thankfully they are not sheer worn with my dark nude undies and my dark skin.

I have 8 define jackets and would part with some on Ebay. I understand the suspicious behavior of buyers however it makes it difficult for sellers with authentic Lululemon Define jackets to sell them. I recall the buyer of my Wish Blue define was concerned about the chunky zipper. Lululemon has made changes to the zippers of the Define jackets over the years. My collection spans back several years and I don't have the receipt or hard tags for the older Defines. Not everyone knows what to look for and therefore it puts every little thing in question.
