Does anyone have a color comparison of Plum with Bordeaux Drama??

OMG!! Those mod waves Crb's are GORGEOUS!!!

Does anyone know if there will be Plum full length WU's soon? Or full length WU's coming soon I hope!

Does anyone else think that this new bag too closely resembles a bowling ball bag?

Anonymous said...

That bag is so ugly. It reminds me of a bowling ball bag from 1970.

The new Happy Hatha Hour bag looks like it might work as an overnight bag. Love the plum!

@6:22 Yes. absolutely.

I'm often afraid of wearing luxtreme because of the fabric. This might sound silly, but sometime I wore it to the park, and I decided to sit on this bench made of cement. Luxtreme is one of those fabrics where you know I'll ruin it if I move a bit on that cement chair. So I put newspaper underneath my butt and there the whole time with a newspaper. Am I the only person who treats luxtreme like that?!

Yeah the shape of the bag is quite ugly to me. Love the color combo on the plum one though.

I'M really missing the old bags that were made of this thick nylon with nice pleats and awesome pockets inside. Please Lulu, bring thos back ! None of this fake leather business. The bags have been subpar for 1.5 years now.

I wear Speed shorts almost every day to the gym and even I think those new shorts are too short. Holy smokes.

I picked up a Run: Make It Count Tank today in black for $29. It has a beautiful fit and is extremely flattering. My husband was really into it. If you are on the Fence, go for it--in dark colors. I didn't like the white because it showed too many bumps, although it is still thick Luxtreme. I now prefer Luxtreme over Luon. I also tried on the Spry Track & Train but didn't like the fit around my middle area. The back is very cute though so it was tempting. I love the backs on many of the tanks out right now but the fronts have design problems or just have a lack of design. I want to try on the Energy Tank, especially in Blue Moon, my new favorite color!

I also got a Blue Moon Scuba Hoodie. Gorgeous!

My store (Santana Row) had a ton of markdowns--jackets, tanks, crops, pants etc. They have a huge rack of pants but most of them are sheer or thin. I tried on a cute pair of Astro pants in Dune but they were so sheer, even the salesgirl was like no way unless you wear nothing under them.

Yes, I think it looks like a bowling bag too, and the cheapy vinyl looking fabric does not help!

Does that inside shot of the bag look like the Laceoflage pattern? I know it isn't but it looks very similar. Wonder if we will get that print soon? It's mediocre.

Any idea of when the US ill get the lustereme WUs?

Do the CRB Mod Waves have or not the lll logo? I meant the little reflective dot. I can't locate it on the online pics of the tank and am thinking it might be bc they can not put it on mesh.

The new bag looks way too cheap and synthetic, particularly in colors other than black.

I find ironic that when one click on the Singapore online store, there is a pop up that says "we now ship to China!". Hey lulu why don' you instead ship FROM China and reduce your carbon footprint? You manufacture in China anyway! So what's the sense of producing it in China and shipping it to Singapore to then again ship back to China for quite a fee?
You should ship worldwide for free directly from China, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines, and so on.
I don't get it.

Like WU pants instead of crops? The full on luons come in a pant version and so does the luxtreme. Unfortunately just in black for now, but I'm sure there will be other colors coming out later!

Hi all, I'm on a super tight budget :( does anyone know how LLL does their uploads for WMTM? What time- days etc? I always seem to miss out. I appreciate any tips. Thank you!

OT - LLA, would you mind commenting on the fit of the Energy Tank once you receive it? Love the bra and use it for running and strength training but product description for the tank says light support.

I absolutely love the plum/inkwell combination on the Happy Hatha Hour bag, but it reminds me too much of a vintage bowling ball bag and it doesn't look comfortable to carry. I would love if they brought back the Take Me with You Tote from last year and made a plum/inkwell version.

I'm also hoping for some plum WU or WUC.

Anonymous said...

I actually like the HHH bag, but I am in a bowling league, so maybe I'm just particularly desensitized to the bowling ball bag look. I love the plum/inkwell combo, but I wish that the handles were either plum or inkwell -- I just know that the white handles would end up looking grubby.

I am hoping that the mod moves crb comes in some of the new fall colors -- although this is my new favorite tank, I've had enough zippy and aqua for now. And enough with the color blocking. I actually really like color blocking, but even I am reaching my limit at this point.

Totally OT -- has anyone ever had a hair tie zipper pull break? The zipper pull on my bleached coral scuba pulled right off the other day (and I have no idea where the lulu thing went). I've never used it as a hair tie, and I've only worn that scuba a handful of times, so I'm bummed. I just tried chatting with GEC and they told me to "take it to my local store so that they can assess it and work out a solution."

My local store doesn't have this color hoodie anymore, and I was kind of just hoping that they could send me a new zipper pull, but I guess not?

oh my that bag is cheap looking and so large. You can find a better knock off in china town NYC.
The inside pattern is pretty cool though.
From the pictures of the color plum, it looks like bordeaux drama had more of a maroon color. plum seems more bluish.

LLA, this question is for you (and anyone else who loves the energy bra). I have tried this bra on several times in the store in several different colors. LOVE how it fits, super comfortable, and very cute on! My problem is that the cup inserts show not only through the bra, but through the shirt I am wearing over top as well. I have never heard anyone else mention or complain about this. I have never bought one because of this issue. I try on my normal size 6 in both the bra and always try on with my normal size 6 crb over top. I completely see the entire outline of the bra inserts through the crb. Removing them causes the headlights to show. I always have to wear my Under Armour black bra underneath my Lulu tanks, but I would so love to wear a cute, colorful Energy bra instead. Thoughts? Suggestions? Anyone else have this issue?

Those mod waves Crb's are beautiful! Any idea when/if we get them?

Anonymous said...

Love the blue print inside the bag!

I don't see the luxtreme crops online. Am I missing it - or just in stores?

Anonymous said...

Bowling ball bag all the way....

Racershorts? Looks like leftover fabric shorts from the overall hideous Mondrian/beach ball/McDonald's summer 2013 color palette to me....

On a positive note, really hoping that the blue and white patterned liner in the bag is a print we will see on tanks soon :)

Can anyone comment about the fit of the new Commuter Denim Slate Scuba Hoodie? Does the fit seem commensurate with the regular Stretch Scubas, or is it a bit tighter and perhaps a size-up item due to the "denim" material? thanks!

any idea when the luxtreme wunder under crops will be on the US website??

Here's an interesting read about how LLL and their strategic decision to exclude plus sizes:

Yes, I agree, it looks like a bowling bad! I'm in need of a new bag but the selections are horrible. I need one that will fit a towel, make-up, blow dryer, flip flops, my lunch, and an outside water bottle holder. Is that too much to ask?

Anon @ 7:31... I emailed GEC once when I lost my zipper pull and they sent me another one for free.

@ anon 3:04 pm - what higher end workout wear doesn't stop at a 10 or 12? Nux, Splits 59, Beyond Yoga, Rogiani, Kira Grace - all stop at 10/12. Some Brazilian workout wear companies stop at size 8. What about designer jeans? Those stop at size 10. That's the way it is.

I've never had trouble buying size 10-12-14 at lululemon and have never been treated badly. I've visited stores in several states and never had trouble finding size 10s & 12s. It's a non story. Business Insider has a hard on against lululemon. If you are looking for plus size workout wear there are plenty of companies that make cater to that market - Athleta, Moving Comfort, Junonia, Lane Bryant. Nike and Adidas offer items in up to 3X.

@ 3:42 AM, it's usually Thurs., sometimes the very early hours of the morning. I'm in Eastern Time Zone. I wouldn't say there is a definite or specific time. Then sometimes, there's nothing first thing and stuff shows up later in the day. AND some items reappear (with stock and sizes) in the weeks or days after, that you thought were long gone. No idea how it works. Returns? That don't go back on the floor in stores?

Anonymous said...

I do not care for the bag. I do like the colours they've combined and that overall combo. But not the shape.

Anonymous said...

Anon at 7:59, the new removable cups Lulu provides with the bras, etc. are horrible! The shape is all wrong, they're stiff, and they stick out in odd places. I recently purchased an Energy bra, and I tossed the new cups. I much prefer the old ones that mold better to your boobs. Thank God I bought a bunch of Tata tamers in the past and didn't throw away any of the old removable cups as I'm using those in the tops and bras with the new cups. I think that this is another way that Lulu has cheaped out with their products. It's a bummer, especially if you don't have any of the old removable cups.

@3:24 I'm in EST so Thursdays at 12:45am I usually see the new WMTM.

@2:06 I bought the commuter demin scuba. I love it. I got my usual size 8. Seems like they finally listen and made the chest more spacey. I found the previous scubas to have too right of a chest and I'm only a 36B.

@2:26 US stores have them

@3:04 There is no reason why Lululemon need to cater to everyone. You don't go into a Popeyes and expect to find veggie patties. There are many other brands that offer plus size clothing so why target Lululemon? Plus, it doesn't make financial sense to buy $98 pants so they could lose weight in it and have it not fit. Unless a women is way over 6' tall, anything above size 12 usually means she is not in the best shape of her life, considering the average height of an American woman is 5'8". I feel like if a women want to be able to fit into lululemon, she should try to lose weight in more affordable clothing then when her weight lose is finally slowing down, because her body ideal weight is approaching, she should treat herself to LLL clothes and actually be able to wear it for a verryyyy long time. Get her money's worth.

Anonymous said...

@9:15 I agree with your point, but the average height of an American woman is 5'4, not 5'8 (which probably adds strength to your argument)

Anonymous said...

I agree with LLA and 9:15. If I was a plus size, I would not shop at lulu or any store that sells to trim or petite women. There are plenty of places for women to shop who are size 12 or higher. I wear lulu because it fits my petite frame. Most sweat pants and shorts are too baggy for me even in the petite sizes.

That's one ugly bag.

Not to be nit picky but in the argument about excluding plus sizes...seems like lately lll is excluding size 2 from most new bottoms they come out with. I have personally complained to them about that issue (not that they pay much attention to feedback anyway) and I've noticed in many other shoppers' reviews they have complained about that as well. They keep coming out with all these cute shorts that are made to be relaxed fit,but realistically you have to be a lulu size 6 to fit into the size 4 in most cases. So where does that leave the size 2-4? End of rant now. I'm just bummed I never could make the work it out shorts work and the play all day only in a few colors because the sizing was off.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 10:35 am - I hear you. My sister is a petite 2/4 so she buys in those sizes a lot. I know lots of the 2-4-6 can fit the Ivivva stuff but I know that they are cut a bit different compared to the women's sizing.

Anonymous said...

@ANON 10:35 AM - I am on the same boat. I love the Track Attack shorts but smallest size is a 4 which is too baggy on me. They made size 2 only for SeaWheeze color.

Anonymous said...

@Anon 2:06 PM - I ordered the slub denim scuba size 6, and I found it to be much shorter and tighter than the blue moon scuba in the same size. I just ordered an 8 to see if there is a difference in length. I am 5'2", so I normally have issues with LLL being too long. This is the first item I have ever received that obviously too short. I'm not sure how taller ladies will wear it.
