Running skirts look ridiculous! I can't help but laugh every time I see someone wearing one...

The skirt is cute but looks very short!

Can't stand those sayings in the swiftlies. Too teeny-bopper-ish. The Track Attack Skirts remind me of the Speed Squad shorts. Pass.

Those skirts are pretty juvenile and don't look very flattering. Bummer. LLL went all in with the stripes this season, and they are beginning to feel overplayed. I think I'm finally feeling lulu fatigue, which will be wonderful for my bank account.

Looking like my bank account is going to like this week. Nothing catching my eyes so far.

@ dixie - I was thinking the same thing.

Well I'm glad I bring laughter to the world because I run exclusively in skirts.

But I was really hoping that striped Spry pattern would show up in a Pacesetter or Pace skirt. The fabric looks similar to the Hot Hitter skirt which I sold (for a profit) because it was a hot wrinkled mess.

I wear running skirts too! Let them laugh.

@9:45- well I'm a comedian too then : ) actually my teenage daughter and I run in the tall PS because it actually is a bit more modest looking especially at her age instead of being figure hugging. Plus you really shouldn't knock it till you try it. It's super comfy as well as breathable. But hey...different strokes for different folks.

seriously??? whats with the ridiculous matchy-matchy deal going on? do people REALLY try to match that much when they're sweating their asses off? All of these colors and styles do look really juvenile, like a lot of people have already said. the only thing in this upload that caught my eye was that track attack jacket with the red and white with the stripes, i love how that looks.

@anon 8:04 - running skirts are very functional - for both running and tennis... i wonder why you think they look ridiculous? i think the track attack skirt is unflattering and way too short for tennis - and for me personally also too short for running - but to think an entire type of athletic clothing is ridiculous to the point that you laugh whenever you see someone in one sounds ridiculous.

The skirt looks like a baggy diaper

I agree with Anon 9:45pm, I guess I make people laugh because I have two running skirts, and really like them. And I can't say I've ever laughed at anyone for what they were wearing during a run; people wear what is comfortable, whether it's something I would or would not wear. I guess there's always going to be someone to judge others.

Does anyone know if the new track attack skirts have pockets? The LLL site doesn't list any or show any in the photos. No pockets = useless to me.

Running skirts make me laugh and smile too, which makes long training runs that much better when I'm wearing them. They're also incredibly freeing! Of course, they're worthless without pockets.

8:04 I am glad the skort clad ladies make you laugh. I mainly run in skirts the pace setter is one of my favorites. it gives me decent coverage and it's cool during the summer months. it is also great for post sailing wear.

I get way too hot in pants and capris and skirts are like wearing a pair of tiny luxtreme booty shorts except you have coverage for any CT or booty

Laugh away! Once I started running in skirts, I never looked back.

I also play tennis in them and are great for after working out so that I dont look dumpy in my sweats.

I really like the way the black track attack skirts looks in the skirts header picture on lululemon.com so I gave it a try. That header image has been up for a while and i've been waiting for it to make an appearance.

for me, the Track Attack Skirt is a fail because the fabric is so wrinkly. i love my Pace Setter skirt because the fabric is soft and light. even though they both have ruffles, the Pace Setter lies well. the Track Attack just looks like it was pulled out from the bottom of the clothing hamper.

I thought running skirts were funny, too... until I tried one on. I loved how it looks and I also love how airy and cool it is to wear on runs and walks - much cooler than most of my shorts. So you can keep thinking they're ridiculous, or you can try one to see if it changes your mind!

That said, I'm concerned about the length of this new skirt, and whether the front bunches up when worn running.

Nothing for me this week unless something good hits WMTM on Thursday. Still waiting for my LR track attack shorts but saw a review on the LLL website that says they are 2-way stretch so they will probably be going back. I tried the pizzaz on and while they were ok I prefer 4-way. I have a small booty and if they don't lay right I look like I have no booty at all.

Call me silly all you want but the "I go the distance for cheese" cracks me up!!! Which swiftly top top does this correspond to?

Anyone know what spry tank the girl is wearing with the read track attack skirt?
