I think that is the first lulu jacket that has ever appealed to me.
I would have to see it in person before purchasing. commuter denim jacket is very sporty and classic.

LOVE both of those Track and Train colors. Wonder if I can get away with the Mod Dot at 35...

I might have to get that scuba when it comes in. I love it so much it's adorable! Perfect neutrals with a pop!

@ anon 9 am - I know! If I came home with a solid Sizzle Scuba I can just hear my husband saying, "Bana-NA!" in a Despicable Me Minion-like voice.

^^ In addition, whenever I wear my Mac N Cheese Hills Pullover my husband always asks how my winning stage in the Tour de France went.

Do you think there's a good chance these items will come to the US side?

OT - My LLL package from last week was apparently delivered to the wrong address. LLL says they've put a trace on it with FedEx but that takes 5-7 business days. Any hope of me getting the package at all? And if not, would LLL refund me the cost?

Someone called "ATRAM" signed for it which really annoys me. Why sign for items that are clearly not addressed to you? :-(

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 9:45 am - that happened to me a couple of months ago. My package eventually got delivered. They will refund if they can't deliver it.

Could someone please tell me where the Sizzle speed shorts are?

Anonymous said...

Can anyone compare the fit of the free to be tank to the power y tank? Is the fit relatively the same?

Love red reverse grove shorts on the Hong Kong site. Hoping they come in a boogie short!

I'm 34 and I'm not afraid to rock the mod dot. Go for it!!

LLA, that's pretty funny actually!

OT: my husband and I are about to move to seattle in a couple weeks. Can any Seattlites on here comment on which store they prefer? Thanks much!

I got my sizzle CRB in size 6 today & to me....it looks like NEON yellow. Anyone else think this? Also found it about 2 inches too long and Im 5'6. Measured it up to an old size 10 CRB I have here and the size 6 is actually a bit longer than the size 10 CRB! I wish Lulu was a bit more consistent in their sizing.... :( Im sending this CRB back.

I tried on the track attack skirt today. Easy pass. First of all, it was priced at $68 in the store and $54 online. It wasn't flattering at all on my figure. I'm petite and I have very muscular thighs. The skirt is comfortable and feels light but it did nothing for me. Super easy pass. On the other hand, I did pick up the spry blue swiftly racerback - beautiful color and perfect for the super hot NYC temps right now.

Anonymous said...

Argh if there's any way I could remove the bright yellow lulu logo from the scuba I would buy in a heartbeat.

I'm 54 and I'm GOING to Rock that Mod Dot!

too bad thw scubas are too short! i don't want a repeat in my closet of the juicy couture track jackets that are way too short! i still regret buying all those darned jackets- still wear them since i've got them over a crb, but hate the "stretch's" length and won't budge till they make them longer if not then say la vee!!!!

I love all of this stuff!!!! :) I'm gonna be broke.... Maybe it will load in the us a little at a time :)

Ohhhhhhh I love grey and yellow together!!! I'm moving to san antonio but I still want that scuba!

i'll be so upset if the scuba doesn't make it over to the us website! i'm absolutely in love with it!

@11:45 a.m. I'm a Eastsider (live on the Eastside of Lake Washington), but I work in the Capital Hill part of Seattle. I tend to go to the Lulu in Bellevue Square. I think it's a little bigger than the U Village one (which is inconveniently located for me near the UW--and I hate getting caught in that traffic!) The Bellevue store is a lot busier, so consequently, I've found more things on sale at U Village. I usually want to try stuff on right away and get it immediately. (It's hard to delay gratification!) It is funny how stuff will be on sale at one store and not the other. Anyways, I hope that helps, and welcome to Seattle! It's a great place to live, especially if you are active and love the outdoors!

If you are a runner, and depending on what area you live in, there are some really great running clubs out here. You are moving here at a perfect time, our weather is glorious now!

I am surprised at how much I like the Track Attack Skirt! I am a sucker for Lululemon's run skirts (I have 10 pacesetters and counting). I was disappointed that the Nimbus stripe pacesetters were defective but happy to see the twin stripe black/mod dot this week! I am 5'4" so the regular length fits just right for me. I didn't look at the Track Attack twice because I thought it was too short but I was wrong! Stop by at the store today to try them on and they actually are super cute! The 6 fits a little loser than 6reg of pacesetters and it's not as short as shown in the pictures (but I am only 5'4"). The waistband is wide and comfortable and the material thin and soft. I liked the lovered on the web but it actually has a tint of orange in it and not the same lovered as last year. The blue and yellow twin stripe are really cute but too teenage cute. I ended up getting the black online because it's only $54 but the store is selling at $68. The only complaint is there are no pockets in the skirt. I also got the Track and train tank in groovy stripe nimbus but I like the mod dot more...guess I will be returning these to wait for the mod dot!

Can anyone tell me how the most current iterations of the Scuba jacket fit? I'm generally a 6 in LLL sports bras (32DD/E). but take a 2 in CRBs and the smallest size in tops without a built-in bra. I avoid tops with built-ins just because they are too big everywhere else if I get the correct bra size. Any advice on Scuba sizing is appreciated. Thank you!

Anonymous said...

@2:14. How are the Nimbus Pacesetters defective?

Anonymous said...

Wow! The Track Attack Love Red skirts in every size are no longer on the website! Weird! I wasn't going to get one of these (because there are absolutely no pockets, but seeing the $14 price difference, I was thinking of ordering one online. I thought it ran big when I tried it on in the store today, am thinking of getting a 2 instead of my usual 4. The Pacesetter skirt ran big too, I ended up with a 2 in those too. I can't believe I'm buying something that has absolutely no pockets! (It is really cute). I am 5'0 tall so length is not an issue for me.

Anonymous said...

Luluaddict, have you ever seen such a big price discrepancy between the same regular priced item online and in stores like the Track Attack skirt? I'm curious. I wasn't going to get that skirt--no pockets! : ( , but that $54 online vs $68 in store, I'm starting to waffle. It is super cute on, I was really surprised!

LLA, do you think the wandering yogi bra will also make a return? i recently bought one preowned on ebay for 70.00 - i love it and am so sorry i missed it first time around.

LuluAddict said...

@4:14 pm - from what I have read the sizing is way off.

Jen said...

Crazy on the price discrepancy online vs in store on those skirts!!

Really love that track and train in solid spry with the stripes on the straps. Wish it came in the Fast Track tank, but I'll pick it up anyway when (if?) it comes out in NA. It'll just be for yoga instead of running.

Anonymous said...

wow the scuba looks so cute, may become my very first scuba hoody! And the polka dot tnt tank too! I'm liking a lot of stuffs from LLL nowadays, and I've already spent a fortune in the past month.

The Nimbus Pacesetter--I have one and the issue is that where the skirt is sewed onto the band--it doesn't stretch. There is no give in that seam/stitching. It is hard to pull up over the hips since that seam doesn't stretch, like in the other Pacesetter colors. Once it's on, it is ok.

Jamie Barba said...

That happened to me. They delivered my pkg to S Willow & I'm on N Willow. I finally had to track down the package myself FedEx was a big pain to deal with about it, but in the end I did get my pkg!!

@11:45 moving to Seattle person--I would go to downtown Seattle Lulu. Primarily because its in downtown Seattle. But I end up at uVillage mostly because free parking, and theres some yummy vegetarian restaurants right there. FYI--GREAT yoga in this town, and welcome!

Can any ladies who have tried the Track Attack skirt tell me if the Luxtreme shorts underneath are sheer like the ones under the newest Pace Setters? Especially interested to know about the Love Red. Thanks!

Also, I just checked the Canadian website...our pricing shows $68 like I think it costs in store. So maybe that incorrect pricing just happened with the US website?

The online price of the Fast Track skirt just went to $68. That's shady business. Wanna bet the red reappears ,-)

I live in Seattle as well - close to UVillage but I go over the bridge to the Eastside a lot. I tend to prefer UVillage because I live close to it and my grocery store/ pure barre/ kickboxing/ running trail are all close to it. I love the staff and they seem to have a really selection all the time.

Bellevue is great, especially for when you need to go to lots of stores at the mall. Very easy to get to and they have good selection.

Pacific place I tend to not go to since its downtown, however the parking garage is great and safe for parking in/ decent rates.

The outlets up north are ok...I had checked them out but had no luck then. I haven't tried in awhile:

The running/ biking/ hiking trails out here are gorgeous - kayaking is great as well! You're moving at a great time :)

The Track Attack Skirts are $68 online. The Nimbus Pacesetter Skirt have zero give where the waist band was sewn to the skirt, you could hear the thread busting when pulling over hips. Once you got the skirt on the fit was completely different the my other Pacessetter skirts. So sad to return such a cute print. I hope they fix the problem and release it again.

Anonymous said...

Ok, mystery solved! Just went on Lulu website, and Track Attack skirts prices have been raised to $68. So now they match the in-store price. Someone must have underpriced them online.

Anonymous said...

Anon@9:52, I tried the skirt on yesterday. I tried on the Love Red and the Twin stripe Spry. Neither one of them was sheer. (I was wearing black undies, and they did not show through the skirt or the liner, I was shocked!)

Oh yeah, I forgot about Pacific Place in Seattle (anon@10:18 mentioned). I already have to pay the toll to cross the bridge, I refuse to pay for parking! I hate that lot too!

As far as the Burlington outlet, it's pretty far up north, more than an hour away from Seattle. I have had mixed luck there. I usually go there if I am in the area (if I'm coming from or going to Canada, doing a race in the Skagit area, etc.) Prices there are sometimes not as low as WMTM or on sale at the regular store. There have also been some irregulars. They do have a selection of men's stuff (have had more luck for my husband sometimes). Selection for smaller sizes (2-4) can be limited. It seems like there is always more stuff on the racks for people who wear a larger size than me.

That being said, the last time I was there, I bought some cute purple Turbo Run shorts for my sister ($39), Run a Marathon Crops for me (%59, running shorts for hubby ($24), Speed Shorts ($39), and Swiftly armwarmers ($24), so some pretty good deals. They usually have a large assortment of jackets too, and a some bags and other random accessories.

I was wondering what happened to all the love red Track Attack skirts! Did that color sell out so quickly or did they pull them off for some reason like the Nimbus pacesetters? It will be shady if they re-release the love red after upping the price online! I am hoping the Nimbus pacesetters will come back too! The print is so cute and I almost kept the defective one just because I like the print! I did buy the Track Attack in black yesterday online for $54 after realizing it was cheaper than store price. Didn't think they would adjust the price online - I thought it was a re-price due to the lack of pockets!

Anonymous said...

@4:14 - Defective Nimbus Pacesetter - Yes the stitching at the bottom of the waist band doesn't stretch so it's very difficult to pull the skirt up. Once it's on, it's cute. I am usually a 6reg - for some reason I decided to order both 6reg and tall. Other than the stitching problem, I also find the 6reg much shorter than my other pacesetters. 6 tall is usually a little big for me, but for the Nimbus print, it fits just like my other 6 reg.

SammyB said...

Why $68 for a skirt with no frills? I think the skirt is very cute, but is an obvious pass because I need a place to at least store a key. This skirt should be $54 (or less!), less than the pacesetter, which has pockets galore.

I love LLL, but sometimes cannot figure out where they get their pricing. Sometimes I think they just make up a number and go with it. Hopefully this will get repriced.

Anonymous said...

just sent my groovy nimbus pacesetter back - no give in the waist as others have stated. Also, did not like the white see-thru shorts. can't wait for fit reviews and pics of the twin stripe black/mod dot printed black - maybe it will be better...

Anonymous said...

Why are the Track Attack skirts $68 when there's not a single pocket anywhere? No gel pockets in the waistband, no zipper pocket in the back, no pockets on the sides of the shorts. I tried the skirt on yesterday, and to me it felt cheaper than any other skirt previously released from Lulu. Other than the lack of pockets, the ruffles were poorly designed- looked like they were thrown on rather than meticulously stitched like the pacesetters. Clearly a cost-cutting move on their part.

I have over 30 of their run skirts and have always loved them, especially the short ones, for my high-mileage training. Yesterday, I walked out of the store thinking this might be the end for me and LLL...

Anonymous said...

I ordered the Track Attack skirt last night and snagged the black for $54. I'm glad I pulled the trigger then! I am not completely sold on the skirt, so it'll go back if I don't like it. I am in need of another go-to black tennis skirt though. Pockets don't bother me and I end up not even using them. For running I can see how it would be nice to put a key in the back pocket though. I'm just glad that the undershorts don't have that weird upside down ball pocket that the Pacesetters have that isn't even functional if you are a left-handed tennis player.

I lived in Seattle for 10 years, but recently moved. You'll love it! Re: the best store--Depends on if you are in Seattle proper or some suburb east of Lake Washington. If you're east, it's hard to top Bellevue purely on convenience. You avoid a congested I-90 drive, or a toll bridge.

If you're on the Seattle side, the U-Village LLL was recently remodeled/relocated to a larger retail space within the shopping center. I prefer this one; as mentioned above, free parking is nice. It's also closer to the Burke-Gilman trail (bike/feet only) and trails through the Washington Park arboretum. I used to go to Sunday a.m. yoga, then run from the store past Husky stadium, over the pontoon bridges into the arboretum, and back. I think the store now has a run club that runs before Sunday yoga, but I sweat a LOT when I run, and preferred the reverse.

Pacific Place is great, too, but I like the U-Village location a bit more.

Thanks everyone! I'm the one moving to seattle. ;)

Your comments are super helpful. We'll be living in ballard, so I'll be closest to the U Village and downtown stores. I forgot all abou the Bellevue store! I am really excited about exploring the city as I am a runner. Also, if anyone has a favorite hot yoga studio, please pass it on!

That scuba is really cute. Wish I could justify it, but living in FL, I can't.

Have they released a sizzle swiftly racerback and I just missed it?

Ballard is such a fun, quirky town! So many good restaurants. La Carta De Oaxaca is the best Mexican food in Seattle! Yum!
