Surf Studio Jacket In WMTM

The Surf Studio has finally hit the We Made Too Much Section. I got this jacket a couple of months ago and love, love, love it. It has to be one of my favorite purchases of this year. The jacket has a similar fit to the Define - a snug TTS. I got the black/Inkwell one. Anyway, if you were waiting for the price to drop to get one, now is the time.

Is it shorter than a define?

One of te characters on Once Upon a Time wa wearing the inkwell one. It looked really good on her.

I agree, this jacket is great especially at the lower price. I found a black/frond one at the outlet at half (original) price and bought it bc it reminded me of the Define. Only much longer, which is weird since it looks short on the model. I'm 5'8" with a long torso and this jacket hits me an inch below my tail bone. Perhaps that's why it was at the outlet. The color is a little nuts, tho. I wear mine inside out.

I've been waiting for this to hit markdown. I loved the fit when it came out, but no way was I paying 148. I saw it marked down in stores but never in my size. Very pleased!

I finally bought two of the Not So Basic Gym Tees. I've been wanting these since they came out and finally bit the bullet and bought them yesterday, only to see them go on sale today. I called the GEC and they said that since they were still "in transit", they could do a price adjustment but normally they don't do that.

Seriously???? That's terrible customer service. I bought them YESTERDAY.

Anyway, I'm excited to finally get the shirts and that they're cheaper, but I def have a bad taste in my mouth about the price adjustment thing.

I've been patiently waiting for this to go to WMTM! I loved the black / indigo, and even bought & returned it (too much at full price). I really hope it arrives unmanaged! My last few orders have arrived with snags or other damage....

Tempting - I'm holding out for Om me Home jacket to land in WMTM, I really like it, just not over 100$ like it.

Is anyone ordering the surf bonded crb on WMTM? Or does anyone already have it? Thoughts? Wondering if its even worth the discounted price. TIA!

@ anon 10:26 AM I have the frond/faded zap/black & BBB/aqua/black surf bonded CRB, and I love them! I find the color blocking is flattering, the seams don't chafe, and the fit is a little more snug, and shorter, than the CRB. I actually don't mind this since I'm in between CRB sizes. I buy the CRB in a size 6 which is a bit looser, but a size 6 in the surd bonded CRB is perfect-snug but not constricting. A size up for me would have worked, also.

Anon at 10:26, I have and LOVE the surf bonded CRB in several colors, but I think I'm in the minority. Depends on lot on how you feel about the length. I'm short-waisted (and I'm only 5'4" to begin with), so I love the length. I'm also large-chested and muscular, and I find the color blocking to be pretty flattering on my shape (the two-tone with black on the sides is the most slimming IMHO). If you love the length of the regular CRB, this is MUCH shorter (SEVERAL inches, I'd say), so just be aware.

I think that some other people suggested that it's also tighter than the regular CRBs, but I did not find that to be the case and bought my regular CRB size. I'd say that it fits about the same (and a bit loser than the gingham CRBs which ran a bit small -- although I also took my regular size in those). The bonding does give it slightly less stretch, though. Hope that helps.

I have been patiently waiting for the black inkwell jacket. SO HAPPY!!! Checked out at 5am and just got shipping confirmation:) I ordered my tts 4 what I wear in my define jackets. I also tried it on in store when it first came out and loved it but not for $150. I am happy with the $89 I feel like it was a wise purchase.

I got two of the surf bonded CRBs when they first went to MD. I like them a lot! They are pretty stretchy and I like touching the bonded seams. They are pretty long though--if I wear shorts I almost look like I'm not wearing bottoms!

I have two of the bonded crbs. They are flattering, but not as great for running as I thought they'd be, since they are considerably shorter than the regular crbs. Also, the bonded seams kind of weird me out. If you pull on them, the scrunch up and pucker in a not great way. I love the pop orange one, but really only wear it for weight lifting.

I think the inkwell one is nice, but wtf is up with the insane color blocking on the frond one. Wow!

When is the street to studio going to hit WMTM??? Been waiting for that one!!

I don't have a bonded CRB but I saw a girl wearing one at the gym last week and it was VERY cute and flatterning on her. I kinda want to get one now!

Om Me Home Jacket has been repriced to $108 from $128.

I also bought two of the bonded CRBs when they went to WMTM. I bought the pop orange and faded zap with black on the sides. They are shorter than regular CRBs but like others have said that works for me. I have one regular CRB and if I pull it all the way down it pretty much covers my entire butt! I did a boot camp style workout in one of the bonded ones this week and it was great. I didn't ride up and was breathable.

I will say the bonded seams are kind of weird - they are basically glued together so where the glue is is a bit stiff and I wonder how they will hold up. The seams also seem a little less stretchy than a regular seam.

Size wise I stuck with my TTS 4 which is also what I am in a regular CRB. I'm 5'4", 32B and 117lbs. I would say the fit is slim overall but I prefer slim to baggy. Good Luck! I may consider getting a few more now that new colors were added.

On the topic of jackets on WMTM - can anyone advise on how the Daily Yoga Jacket wears as far as durability? I've been admiring it forever. I've tried it on and like it but am still hesitant to spring for it at $99. I like that it is looser than the contempo. Thanks!

Does anyone know what the deal is with LLL sometimes lowering the wmtm price over and over again, and sometimes it staying on one (still pretty high wmtm price) for f-ing ever?? I can't figure this out! Sometimes I wait and wait for wmtm price to drop, and it works sometimes (Ex, warm up crew!!), and sometimes it feels like they are never gonna drop the price more (throw me over hoodie!!). Anyone have any idea about when an item will drop lower, and when the wmtm price is here to stay? Thanks!!

Daily Yoga jacket is a great jacket IMO! I got it in the coco pique on markdown on WMTM and I'm SO happy I sized down, I like a snugger fit and went with a 2 from a 4. I haven't had any piling or any signs of wear yet.. I think it's definitley worth it, I'm suprised it's been sitting in WMTM for so long.

I bought this jacket in WMTM in size 10 (since some of the reviews said to size up). I'm a size 8 across the board in Lululemon. Unfortunately, it's way too big. So I purchased another one in 8.

In any case, since it was Final Sale--I am selling it on eBay today with a starting bid of $69.00

I waited patiently for this jacket to go down! I am stoked with it in Inkwell/Black. I'm tempted to get the Dune one but I didn't like it as much on me in the store. I'm still hesitant about the color blocked stuff, although it has been around for a while now. Did anyone get the Dune Studio Surf?
