Holy cow boogie shorts lady has long legs! Do you think there will be Pinkelicious, BBB, and VG WAFS prints? And i dont' mean on a waistband or the undershort of a running skirt, but on a whole crb or tame me? I feel like theyre teasing us with one stripe here and one stripe there...

oh btw i think the blue top with the pace tights is a cardio kick.

Anonymous said...

I believe that's the cardio kick tank as opposed to the bonded CRB. The cardio tank has the scooped hem at the bottom.

Goodness, that girl can rock those boogie shorts! I WISH! haha

The pace tights are slowly wooing me.. But I worry that I may get too overheated working out in tights.
Anyone recommend for or against?

Also, I hate the dumb little pocket on the guys' shirts. It just looks silly. bleh.

Love, love, love the Pace tights! On the other hand, the Boogie shorts have never been my favourite... I've felt that they are a little bit too much (or too little) to wear in public. I wear them at home and my husband thinks they are sooo sexy, but i've worn them just once or twice to a starbucks run or errands and i think i had little teenage boys trail me at walgreens! i applaud whoever you are in the pic, but they leave little to the imagination. i've also had issues with cameltoe, i wore g-strings, thongs, i've gone "commando" and nothing seems to make things less visible (not sure how you accomplished that in the pic...)

I'm so impressed with Yogasmoga. I had to change size for a processing order, and I am surprised to find their personnel sent me an email at 3:46AM to answer my questions. wow, they do care a lot about their customers, very impressive attitude and dedication.

I got my WAFS inspires and white speed shorts this morning! Love them both in person so much! Have yet to try them out, I think I'll try the inspires at Zumba in the morning.
I think that lady is standing with her feet shoulder-width apart for a reason.. avoiding CT. I think those boogie shorts are so cute but I couldn't wear them in public, maybe on a hot vacation where people are wearing bathing suits haha.
Love the pinkalicious Mile a minute tank but it's just too much moolah for me to be spending, need to pull it back a little before my bf starts complaining about the weekly packages :)

i wouldn't wear boogie shorts in 'public' (running errands or whatnot) but they're all i'll wear for dance (pole -- need exposed thigh for grip but center coverage for straddles/splits). i don't have issues with CT in them. i'd imagine they're great for hot yoga, too.

i love pace tights for running, but in anything over 40ish degrees, i overheat in them. i don't think i'd be able to work out in them. (which is a shame, because i loooove the bbb tights!)

I tried the pinkelicious mile a minute tank and one can see the cups and bra lining. :( Too bad because it's cute.

Speed short sizing question: so, if I typically wear a 4 in speeds, and I want to order the WAFS speed shorts, should I size up to a 6 for a roomier fit? Reports are that they are running so small. For reference, I am 5'5, 105 lbs. I'm getting so many conflicting reports on running small, some say true to size. Agh!!!

Super impressed with Yogasmoga Run Jump 'n Play Crops. The fabric is spot on for thickness and compression. Customer service is endearing, they included a handwritten thank-you note for giving their product a try.

No need to guess about Luon quality...is it old recipe, new cost saving recipe, or reconfigured special edition pique, gingham, whatever recipe. Just going to order pants and crops from Yogasmoga from now on.

Can you pay with Paypal for Yogasmoga ?

Boogie shorts, you look great... You could definitely stop traffic, but I don't think I could ever pull them off! Maybe it's me (or how I' am anatomically down there), but I get MAJOR cameltoe in pretty much anything I wear. I've worn the boogie shorts, similar to many of the comments below, at home or at the beach. But, I am leaving nothing to the imagination in them.

The clari tee in aquamarine makes that gals shoulders look super wide even though she is clearly small, not a good look!

Anonymous said...

The girl wearing the clari tee looks so cute! It fits her perfect. It makes her shoulders and arms look very fit.

No:(

My experience is they do run on the more snug and short side than others, I own 10 pair or so. I did NOT size up from my usual 4 because the waist fits fine and when I tried the size 6 the waist was huge and it they look super frumpy and saggy. I am keeping the size 4 because they are adorable and I feel although they do run smaller they still fit nicely:) I am a lean 5'5 118lbs hope that helps!

I'm relatively new to Lululemon (unfortunate, I know. I feel like I missed all the good stuff). What are your thoughts on running in CRBs vs swiftly tanks? I have a few CRBs, but I'm wondering if the swiftly might be a better option for hot summer running. My biggest hesitation is worrying about the fabric snagging. I'm a stay at home mom, so I wear these pieces everyday not just for running. I also do a lot of hiking. I've been debating ordering a swiftly LS for months but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on a $68 top that may or may not be tough enough for my lifestyle.

LLA or any fellow addict, do you know of any Australian angel? I'm dying for a pair of tights I see on the Aussie site. Please I need an angel badly ;-)

Hey everyone.

Need your advice.

I ordered the YS pink crops but I don't want to wait up to 3 months for pink crops (I ordered a size 4 and she said those and size 2s are the most backordered!)

Were the Lulu pink in the flow crops sheer? Also have they been uploaded?

I went to the store today and they only had size 10's left, so I couldn't tell if they were sheer. I found the black ones to be though.

I really want pink crops but don't know where to find good ones! Any suggestions?

OT, my bf accidentally ruined my sing floss travel heathered lavender jacket yesterday.. I'm only in mourning because I can't find one I actually like for him to replace it with! Pretty sad.. I guess I can settle with a rejuvenate but no where near will it live up to my old betsey from a few years ago. :(

@anon 6:38 - I own a billion swiftlies and have never had a problem with them being too delicate. Maybe I have 3 songs totally among ALL of them. I, too, hike and climb. I wore a swiftly on a JMT thru hike and it wore like iron. I don't baby them at all.

I got my YS Run, Jump, and Plays yesterday. I've read these blog comments closely and was excited to put them on. I would describe the fabric as inky, velvety black - pretty. But for me, the fit isn't nearly as nice as my wunder unders or run inspires. I ordered my usual size 6 (I'm 5'8, 128lbs) and the waist is loose (feels like it's coming down in the back a little) while the hem on the calf is too tight. YS uses a different thread on the calf hem than is used on the seams and it doesn't stretch. I would describe my calves as being on the slender side and I'm really amazed that others haven't mentioned this issue. They're not very comfortable on my calves and I'll have a dent on my skin when I take them off.I'm keeping the crops because the price was so great but they're no substitute for my lulu's.

I felt the exact same way! I have a 5 year old and a 7 week old and am a stay at home mom. I purchased the swiftly bruised berry last summer and returned it because I was afraid of runining a $70 top... Fast fwd a few months later... I was 7 months pregnant and would be cold but hot on and off so I caved in and bought the beaming blue swiftly LS, I loved it! I wore it all the time when I had to run errands and even to the doctors office. I never snagged it and my baby is now 7 weeks old and I still want to wear it but its too big now. I was very careful at first but then after I wore it a few times, I wasn't so crazy... I am now kicking myself for not keeping the bruised berry LS. The tops are perfect for running in the morning when it's kind of cool but they don't over heat you at all! I hear the tanks are awesome for running, I don't have one but I keep waiting for a beautiful color in a long sleeve so I can get it. Just be careful not to get close to Velcro on baby bibs etc, one almost got me but it didn't do any damage.

It looks like Lulu started using models and not actual athlete for their sizing. No wonder fit has been off recently.

I am beyond impressed with yogasmoga! I received a handwritten thank you letter with my package. The pants are amazing... Thick, supportive, perfect length. They remind me of my first pair of groove pants I bought 10 years ago.... Expect, I believe these are a much superior product! I bought the yogasmoga "groove" pants and the "wunder under" tight... Awesome company! (LLA... I would be happy to email you the letter I got)

Received my white WAFS inspires and speed shorts yesterday! LOVE THEM BOTH! So happy with my purhcase, the inspires are not see thru at all. I wore fushia underwear underneath and you can't see even a hint of the color showing thru, just the outline. And the speed shorts fit TTS for me, my regular size 4 fits perfect. So stoked on both! :)

Pinkelicious WUs sheer.
Pinkelicous In the Flow sheer.
Pinkelicous Boogie Shorts large camel toe.

All three of these I sized up to a size 6 just to be safe, but still failed.

I bought the heat it up bra and crops in dune and WAFS white speed shorts (love them).

Lulu....you will totally win my heart with a golf line. That's the one thing your price points would be "on par" with. The educator said they are hoping one will appear in June. She also suggested to try the long pace setter skirts in tall...she wore them at country clubs.

I'm definitely going to try the long skirts. I would LOVE to see a swiftly polo!

@ 6:38 AM, Swiftly tops ride up and are delicate. I have some s/s ones and only use them for running. I do not think they are practical for everyday use, especially around young kids.

I run in CRB's and I also do hot yoga (hot vinyasa flow and bikram) and they are great. I have a number of them and they all get rotated. However, they've all be used and sweat in A LOT, work beautifully and have been washed so many times, and still look brand new.

The only thing about CRB's is they are not all created equally. Some colours are softer (heathered ones are often the best) and some are more "scratchy", more poly.

@12:31

I ordered my usual LLL size 8 for the YS crops and I did notice the waistband is looser and the calves are tighter. Even on the website, the model wearing the pink crops with her leg in the air, you can see the crops hugging her calves tightly. But for me, it wasn't a problem where it bothered me. It was a tugging action to put them on at first, but once they're on, I noticed nothing. But yea, I did have to exchange them for a 6. (5'5 150lbs)

Anonymous said...

Thanks for all the help on the swiftly tops! Yeah, unfortunately there is a good deal of Velcro in my life (diapers, kids keens, toys..). Such a bummer because I really love the teal and very green swiftly LS. Oh we'll, I may just have settle for another CRB ;)

Anonymous said...

@ 6:38 AM, I have to agree that the Swiftlys are delicate. I have quite a few of them and love them -- but have several times snagged them on something completely innocuous! So my experience is that I have to be careful. I just buy them anyway because I love the fit and feel.

Re PayPal and yogasmoga: I wanted to too and I emailed the team at yogasmoga asking about PayPal a few days back. They said it's something they're carefully looking into, to integrate with their current system. Watch that space.

Anonymous said...

Anon 12:31 pm- I also got the yogasmoga crops and have same feedback - tight in calves and my calves are small! Everything else about them is great so will probably keep as well. Fit of wunder unders is hard to beat IMO, if they could just bring back quality and diamond gusset I'd never look away again- haha!

@anon 4.37 - I sent a email to yogasmoga on paypal as I did not see it as well. They said that they have logged the request to add paypal and will get that done in the next releases of the site.

I'm on the fence...I purchased the inkwells and then returned them... I just had a baby and I'm not sure what size to get. I normally wear a 4 but I am looking to get a 6 so that I can fit in to them sooner and I will still be able to wear them cinched if I ever get back to a LLL size 4. I am so close to purchasing the WAFS white... But the look kind of blah and just grey to me...

The girl in the Clari Tee is rocking that top. She looks so fit and her shoulders make her waist looks very small. She clearly has a great lean body. By the way, since when wide shoulders are an undesirable feature? I work up a good sweat trying to build round, wide shoulders that would look just like hers!

Anonymous said...

I love the muscular shoulders of the Clari-Tee lady. Wowza.

I tried on the white Wee Space Inspires and they didn't look great against my pale skin. The inkwells are nicer, but both are sheer (maybe not as sheer as other recent inspires, I don't know, but sheer nonetheless).

A lot of what I tried on was sheer, even in size up. Lulu has not addressed its cheapening of fabrics. I am enjoying exploring other brands, like Athleta, Yogasmoga, etc.

My only allegiance is to quality. Even many TJ Maxx items are more well made than recent Lulu. All the recent Lulu tops look like Kmart fare to me.

12:31 PM, Thanks for the info. on the YS crops and being tight in the calves. I've gone with size 4 in YS which is what I wear in LLL but think the waist in YS will be loose on me. Thought the legs would be fine, now I'm wondering maybe not since I have muscular runners calves. Oh well, it's $40, I'll wait for them to arrive. This is the one downfall of not being able to try stuff on in store.

I wandered into LLL today after my race but left with zero as expected, since nothing appeals to me in months. They had some markdown stuff but I had no interest. I did look at the new Speed Shorts in pink, wee space white and blue versions. Someone mentioned in another post that the material is different and this is true. The white is weird, rough poly, the pink feels cheap poly and the blue is thick, not wool, but weird thick. Did not like any of them at all!

Anonymous said...

I tried on the blue and white/grey speeds. Yuck to the fabric. The white and grey we are from space..were just small over all. In the same size as the inkwell wagon stripe..the inkwells sit away from by body and the WAFS barely covered my bum and did not have the same shape. The blue ones just felt..well...wierd. Not like any fabric I have in any other LLL clothing past or present. I returned the pinkelicous after seeing the photo posted on LLL reviews. I didn't think they were very sheer in the light of my bathroom..but near a window, a whole different story. Now I know no one will be looking at me that closely but with the light pink liner under the dark pink short...it was a deal breaker for me. Did not try sizing up because the fit gets all wonky.

yogasmoga measurements-

does anyone have a size 4 of their crops or pants to hand and would you mind doing me the biggest favour in measuring the waist and hip of them?

Would love to compare them to my WUC measurements before ordering, to confirm. Thank you!

Anonymous said...

FWIW, I bought my YS crops in tts and after doing yoga in them, the waist did stretch out a bit such that the crotch got a little baggy and they started falling down when walking around in them afterwards. I'm considering getting the 4 instead (once they get more in stock). The calf fit comfortably and I do have muscular calves so I think a size down would work. I do LOVE them - the color is beautiful and the material is truly awesome.

Anonymous said...

so has anyone found something to replace inspires compression and fun colors?

Mikayla said...

OT - I was at the store this weekend, and one of the educators said that they were told they would have bottoms restocked by June 1st, I hope it's sooner than that!

Anonymous said...

6:06, thanks for the info. but I'm not even waiting. I absolutely will not buy. LLL is losing me. Possibly the only thing I will continue to buy are CRB's. I will stay tuned to pantsgate though.

Anonymous said...

Has anyone bought the white groovy run shorts? I want them, but curious as to whether or not you can see the liner through them. One of the educators on the phone told me that the inside liner is "nude" and not white, and that they are not see through, but I would like to hear from someone who has actually purchased them and worn them in the sunlight. Thank YOU!!!

Dear Unknown 5:15 PM and others:

I too bought the YS Crops but didn't have the same experience with the tight calf issue. However, I DID have the same experience with the loose waist, saggy crotch (during class this happened) and overall droopiness. I'm 5'8" 149 lbs, and I ordered size 8 but now I'm thinking I need a 6. So back they go...

I will check in once I have tried the 6s.

I love my white WAFS inspires, did a bend test and used them for a run, they performed great. The material is defintley thinner than normal Luxtreme running pants but don't mind, works for me in summer time and indoor workouts. I find it strange that others find these sheer, could there be different "batches" with issues? Or are people wearing the wrong size? I wore my TTS 4, 106lbs 5'4".
I will post a picture in my reivew on the LLL website.

Go Boogie Shorts go! If you've got it, show it (all) off! i'm suffering every day as i drink my Blueprint Cleanse to get ready, i bought my Malibu Strings thongs, got my Boogie Shorts (they arrived on Saturday) and my bikini wax... hitting the gym tonite, i'm single and you've inspired me!

Anonymous said...

update: i re-tried on my pinkelicious boogie shorts, and even though i did not see sheerness in a bend test at the store, i can definitely see the tear tag in lighting at home. :/ even though i bought them for pole and we usually have the lights down low-ish, still not okay with that, so back they go.

going to try the beach blanket blue ones (and probably buy a pinkelicious free to be to soothe my pain -- i LOVE pinkelicious and wanted shorts in it so badly!); hopefully they are less sheer.

Anonymous said...

i bought the inkwell color boogie shorts (it's kinda like a gingham check - if that's the correct description). while they are NOT sheer, they leave absolutely nothing to the imagination... and the print makes them look like a very slutty j.crew (LOL). I wore them to my gym, Equinox, in New York where it's pretty much a fashion show and everyone is dressed in LLL to the nines. It's funny in the locker room, there's more product viewing than even this blog(JK)! But, I will not wear them again, based on the disapproving stares from others in the locker room and overt stares by the fellas in the gym itself...
