In the Flow Crops and Shorts and Mini Store Report

The new In the Flow Crops have hit US stores.  I went to the store yesterday hoping to try these on but my store didn't have them yet.

In the Flow Shorts

I ended up exchanging the Inkwell Inspire crops I bought last week for the Inkwell/Indigo Wee Space Crops. The crops have a bit of a purple tone to them. I liked the Inspires well enough but prefer the wee space pattern.

I also tried on the Hook Me Up bra today. It was a bit small in the front, coverage-wise, for me so I would say its not for DD ladies.

I also tried on the Ebb and Flow bra and the new pinstripe Wunder Unders. I liked the Wunder Unders a lot. I thought they fit TTS. I had to try on the Ebb and Flow bra in the size 10. It was too small but felt pretty comfortable. I did feel pressure on the back of my neck, like some have reported, so I think it's a bit high cut in the neck area.

The gingham Coast to Class pants went to the We Made Too Much section yesterday morning for $69. My store also had the black marked down and I ended up getting a pair. The luon is nice and thick and not at all sheer when you bend. The pants are super comfy and cut a bit more generously in the leg. If you have some junk in the trunk and heavier legs you might want to check these out. I wore them all day today and there is not a bit of sueding/pre-pilling in the crotch area. I am super pleased with these pants.

the logo placement on the in the flow shorts and crops is so out of place. i wish they would just leave it on the waistband

Gap has a sports bra "medium impact sports bra" that is better than the E&F one. I buy a lot of LLL but the one thing that I've never bought is any of their bras. They just don't work for me.

W/ all te pretty shades of green available they come out w/ some of the ugliest posible????? this new green is "bathroom green" or as i heard a man in nordy's going on about this shade a few years ago a rain coat from northface was in it and he and his wife were contemplating buying it for daughter he insisted that this green color (same as lulu's new green) is institutional green- meaning prisons/hospitals/loonie bins- paint in this shade of green- i do see bathrooms painted this color alot however- never been in some of the other places he states this color is used but that comment stuck w/ me all this time so when i saw it i immediately remembered this- it is fugly i do know that though !!!!

The woman doing the yoga pose wearing the pin stripe wunder unders looks just like my mom! My mom's really into yoga and Lulu so I had to do a double take. Too funny.

Are the wunder unders in the top photo pop orange? I bought the reversible ones thinking I'd probably return but I love them. The reversible fabric is thicker and do not show every imperfection like most of the lighter WU's do...

I just got my in the flow crops in the mail today and I'm wearing them right now. They are amazingly soft and buttery, truly feel like a second skin. I don't have a lot of lulu bottoms so I can only compare them to my astro wunder under crops (which I love). I have both in a 4 and found these to be TTS. Surprisingly these have more compression. I'm 5", curvy petite, and they hit me at mid-calf and the rise is up to my belly button. The waistband is really nice on these. I'm 7 months post partum with my second baby and the waistband works really well with my waistline. As for sheerness, my husband assured me they are not sheer. I only wear thongs with yoga pants (hate VPL!) and had no issues seeing my underwear. If you were to wear a bright, non-nude color or even white underwear, they would probably show when you bend over but like I said, if you stick with a neutral thong it should be fine. Hope that helps!

Dear "bathroom green"
Please be more sensitive and careful of the words you chose when you are leaving posts...some may take offense to your terms such as "loonie bin".

Did you find the wee space pattern makes your thighs look big? What color tops do you think would go with them?

I didn't try the green ones on, but the black ones were sheer and didn't pass the bendover test. I even tried sizing up.

@anon 4:50 pm - I think the wee space makes legs look smaller. It also conceals lumps & bumps and sweat better than a solid color.

i wanted to get some new crops for a race i was running today and had my heart set on those wee space pace crops... i tried them on last night and it was a no-go. they were see through, the seams in the front were unflattering, and you could see cellulite (and i don't normally have issues with that). i'm also just not a fan of the two seams going across the behind. i was pretty disappointed, as the print is super pretty with a little bit of the periwinkle/lavender in it they would have looked great with grey, navy, purples and more. boo!

@anon - the wee space crops weren't sheer on me. I do agree about the lines. I don't love them but I could live with them since I like the color. A friend of mine thought the color was the same as the Deep Indigo Wee Are From Space Chase Me run Crops that came out last year. If people like the color those are a pair they could search for on eBay or the various lululemon Facebook selling groups.

As per the In Flow Crops... Here is my store report.

So I tried on both the black and green In the Flow crops. They are TTS, I wear a size 4 in all WU, etc. and these fit perfect. Black was more sheer than the green, which I was surprised about. They are not as sheer as the Ebb and Flow IIs, but are more sheer than the old Ebb and Flow Is. I bought the green, knowing I might return them, but I want to try them on with different underwear (I was wearing a bright patterned pair). In the last year I have returned 5 pairs of WU, coral DSC and Astro wunder unders due to sheerness, so these may take that path too. It's such a shame, and I wish lulu would listen... if the quality was there, they'd have over $1000 from me alone in the last few months. If the black wasn't so sheet, I'd be wearing them now because I liked the styling, fit and length!

On a side note, I didn't mind the Indigo stripe WU, but the lines around the crotch area curved too much and I thought were a bit of distraction and may bring attention to that area. :) Also I'm not really a blue girl, so it wasn't a for sure for me.

I bought the green In Flow crops and don't find they're sheer. I wear seamless boy short underwear and all you can see is the texture line where the underwear sit, and absolutely no camel toe. I think as long as you wear the right underwear, smooth, seamless, and a single neutral colour, there is no problem at all.

The Coast to Class pants look nice - glad you got a good deal, LLA!

They remind me of the Power Up Crops (which were on WMTM a few weeks back) - great fit, thick/good quality fabric.

Im so confused about that Very Green color. In some pics it looks very bright (which that is what I want) and then in some it looks a different kind of green.
