Special Edition Cool Racerback, Pace Tank and Bra, and More

Also shown is the new Pace tank and Beach Runner Crop

From Australia - New Special Edition Cool Racerback. This one has bonded seams and is slightly shorter than a regular Cool Racrback. As soon as I find a full frontal photo I will post.

Inkwell Devotion SS and Dune Stills

Pop Orange Forme, Frond Gingham Cool Racerback, Dune Still

Still loving the look of the Dune Still Pants in most every photo I see.

I definitely like the look of the offset black area on the Groove pant better than the centered version in the Wunder Unders and Reverse Groove shorts.

What are the odds of a long sleeved devotion tee in inkwell ladies?

Anonymous said...

man just gotta say, that full figured woman is ROCKING all of those outfits, and I am now super excited to get my practice freely tank in the mail!

As for the frond gingham CRB paired with the inkwell gingham form?... not a good look to pair two ginghams like that IMO

I need those Inkwell Gingham Wunder Unders! Any rumors on when they will be in US stores?

A few new things just went on WMTM - still no dog runners though. Was really really hopeful...

Not into that SE CRB due to the colour blocking.

Ladies are looking good in the Still Pant.

I agree about the still pants! hey look awesome and crappy in some other pics. I look hot in them, so I plan on picking up another pair. (Size 2) They make my bum look amazing!! Just not sure what colour to get!? Wish they came in a wren or brown color. Anyone know....if the dune colour is SOFT or this polyesterey, scratchy feel??? Anyone wise out there, know?! Asked on Lulumums forum, never heard anything back.

Love those gingham crops and finally a model that isn't super duper skinny! I love her!

Isn't that a full frontal of the bonded racerback in the top right photo on the hanger behind the model?

Some new items on WMTM. Poncho, Flip No Flop tank, Post Head stand Head wrap, brisk run gloves. Nothing too appealing. Has anyone tried the head wrap? I don't know it'll work for my head but some educator pics make it work.

I love the photo of {Pop Orange Forme, Frond Gingham Cool Racerback, Dune Still}. It makes for a beautiful combination. It inspires me to be braver with these bright colours.

I'm surprised by the novelty of the Pace tank- particularly the back cut out. For the first time, today, I noticed a few different fashion tops with the same style of cut out back. I must of missed this becoming a thing!

Yay! Thank you for the ton of photos of all the new stuff. Great post!
I have a few questions..

I have a couple questions for anyone that can answer! (If it matters, I'm 5'8, 135lb, and size 4-6 in tops and bottoms)

The Pump It Up tank. Any thoughts? Any comparisons to the 105 singlet? I haven't tried on either, but it seems that between the two, I should just go with the Pump tank since it also comes with the built in/out bra. I know many here LOVE the 105 singlet, though.. So I was curious? Especially since, If I recall, they changed the cut of the 105 so some don't like it as much anymore?
Help!

Also, The Not So Basic Gym Tee
Thoughts?
I am kinda in love with it, but don't know if it's worth 68 bucks.. It has great reviews, but I feel like it's something I should just wait out to go on sale..
Bueller?

I'm also dying for a Swiftly because you all seem to love them, but I haven't tried any on and worry about snug-ness around the arm area. I'm super insecure about my arms.
What about these guys makes you all so in love? Are the short sleeves snug? You don't feel like it's choking you when you get suuuuper hot and sweaty?

Thanks, all. Today is a 101 questions day from me, I know. >__<

It's nice to finally see some picture of a girl wearing lululemon who's not a size 2-4!! I'm really loving the vino to vinyasa bag, that's a must have for me whenever it gets uploaded!
I do really like the bleached coral color but since I already have items in shell pink and pink pig it's a definite pass.

How much are the stills and will they be uploaded?

I ran in my Light Flare LS swiftly yesterday and noticed that the sleeves were much looser than some of my other Swiftlys. I

@Seattlite:

If you are the same size in lulu bras as you are tops then you are better off to save the $ and get the pump it up tank. I have to go one to two sizes larger in bras as am I am in tanks so in order to get the bra to fit the tank part of the pump it up was too baggy. Personally I like to size down on the 105 Singlet. I preferred the first release with the scalloped edges and also the fabric seemed thicker.

I'm the same size as you 4 to 6 range but I'm 5'2" and have very narrow shoulders. The not so basic tee did not work on me because it was way too baggy, particularly in the shoulders, even in a size 2. To pull this off you definitely need to have broader shoulders or maybe just more normal shoulders than mine. LOL

The swiftlies are really nice because they wick the sweat off of you. I live in a warm climate prefer the short sleeve style the best because it wicks the sweat off of your chest and is very comfortable for running. The one thing about the swiftlies is that the fabric is really delicate so you have to really baby them. I have only 1 LS Swiftly and it snagged after the second time i wore it on the sleeve. I find that the SS are not as easy to snag and I only have about 1 month of winter where I live so they are not worth it to me.

I love that there are pics of a curvier gal! She looks awesome.

I'm getting my third pair of Still pants today. They are so comfy and great when you're pregnant.

Anonymous said...

How long are the Still Pants? My showroom doesn't have them so I've been patiently waiting for them to be uploaded! However, I think regular grooves are too short and long grooves are too long. How does the still pants stack up. I must have them!

Anonymous said...

Stills are $98. I bought both inkwell and dune in them because I couldn't decide between the two colors. While I LOVE the dune color especially for the summer, i was wearing a thong with blue in them and you could see the blue color and some ripples in my skin :(. I still haven't returned them yet because I love all the pictures I'm seeing on here but i just am wondering if I would be more comfortable in the inkwell color. I also picked up a coral crb and dune/white forme jacket (which i swore off) and I loove it! no boxy shoulders. Such hard decisions (finally since i haven't loved anything since DHBH pullover)! PS. i love the fabric so soft and not polyestery at all!

I like the colors on the special edition CRB, but give it up on the bonded already. Nobody wants to pay $10 more for some glue. The boob pocket on the new tank seems kind of underarmish (as in the sweatiest area) - I think phones might get shorted out there pretty quickly.

Anonymous said...

I don't even ask anything on her blog-
I've only gotten feedback here!! Sorry haven't gotten to the store yet so don't have any details on the dune stills.

@Seattlite
I like swiftlys, because they're super lightweight, and I've found the anti-stink to really work. I've had some of mine for a couple of years, and they still look new-no snags or stink. If you're worried about your arms, you could try sizing up. I have so e where I have sized up. I usually find the special edition ones to fit on the smaller size, IMO. I do was mine inside out, in a mesh laundry bag, on cold. I place over a drying rack to dry ( no dryer). I have only had one snag on a swiftly that I had for around 3 years- whenever they first came out. I put this stuff called fray block on, and it stopped the snag from worsening. I also found it last for many washes- the instructions say you may have to re-do after 10 washes or so ( maybe less-I don't recall). The snag I got was on the inside, so I was lucky. I wear mine for running, barre, weight lifting, but don't carry a heavy pack when I wear run ( some reviews have had problems with snags & heavy bags). It seems like a lot of work, but I'm this careful with all my brands of workout clothing.

The not so basic tee is something I've tried but didn't buy. It feels silky yummy. I like the loose fit. I have the team spirit tee ( same material as the NSB). I love it- same anti stink, etc. I just haven't bought it. Yet. Size down for a fitted look, or TTS for the looser fit. I did see an educator wearing this shirt, and it had a huge snag on the shoulder, but she may have caught it on something - not sure if its really that delicate. My team spirit doesn't seem delicate.

Sorry my answer is so long! I hope this helps.

It's tricky to know what size you'd get... Especially in tops because you may be large busted (D) and thin every where else or a (B) size and it would totally change your top size if you got a top with a built in bra. Also, do you wear a street size 4-6 or a lululemon 4-6? I wear a street 0/2 and almost always a size 4 in Lululemon except I 2 in No Limit Tank.
I personally think the pump it up tank looks very flattering but again you bust size would really affect your size on this top, you want it to fit well.

anonymous me said...

Can I just say that even though I'm a 4-6 myself, and thus close to the "target" size I suppose, I am SO HAPPY to see a larger sized model being depicted in a store advert. Just because some of us are naturally smaller, there's beauty in all shapes and sizes. So rock on, girl!

I love the layered look of a LLL bra peeking out from a CRB, but that FTB bra would NOT be enough support for me. I wish they'd re-release the Energy Bra or better yet the Cross My Heart bra for those of us that need the extra coverage and stronger straps. LLL, not all of your customers are itty bitty size 2-4! It would be stellar if you guys didn't forget about the rest of us!!

@becky
i read on a blog recently that they were going to release energy bras again, don't know if it's true but i read it...
and, just received my frond gingham CRB in the mail yesterday and i am returning it, and not only am i returning it because it is totally SMALLer than all of my other size 6 CRBs, but i spoke to the GEC and am making them pay return shipping because of sizing inconsistency.
i live no where near a store and have to depend on what i know my size is in order to place an order when they release things that are all wonky sized i refuse to pay return shipping.
i didn't love it as much as i thought i would even though it is smaller, it is a little rough and not AH mazing!

totally agree with you Becky on both the energy and the cross my heart. If the energy had come out in as many colors as the FTB. I would have bought most the colors. I love the frond green but the FTB doesn't work well for me. I am actually petite but busty and the the energy bra and also the cross my heart work well. I can do a number of activities in both those bras.

OT laundry question: I've been noticing lately after a wash and hang dry that my luxtreme crops have these powdery white streaks on them. The residue comes right off by wiping it with a towel. Anybody else have this issue? Is this sweat that survives the washing machine or detergent that isn't rinsed out all the way? I use liquid All Free & Clear detergent. Thanks for any advice!

Re: Swiftly shirts. I have two of the s/s Special Edition ones (blossom and lace), which imo seem more solid than the regular Swiftly. I wear a size 4 for shirts, 2 in a CRB, 4 or 6 in jackets. I'm pretty buffed and the shirts are perfect. On one shirt I do have some snags on the inside, occurring just after 2 wears. Shirts are ALWAYS washed inside out, in a protective net bag. This still occurred and I'm not rough with them. Shirts are worn running, not even for casual wear. I know (having read comments in the past) other Swiftly owners have said they don't baby the shirts and they have no issues or snags. The one thing I dislike about these shirts is that they ride up regardless of what you wear it with, speed shorts, luxtreme crop. However, I really love these SE shirts and don't regret buying them.

@ Seattlite
Pump it Up Tank is really skin hugging. I found it to be tight around the chest (compared to say a Flow Y Bra or CRB in the same size). Maybe that will add some support, but IMO its a bit overdesigned. The luxtreme crinkled above the bust from the seams on the layer underneath. It wasn't the tank for me.
On the up side, there is plenty of movement in the shoulders, as its deeply cut away in the armholes.
In comparison, the 105 singlet requires you to BYO bra, so you can mix and match support, style and colours. Have fun!

Re: 11:08
My crops have had powdery residue lately, too. I don't remember this happening before (it may be my new washer). I use ALL free and clear, too. I've been continuing to wash on delicate cycle with cold water, but I've added an extra rinse, and that has helped.

Anonymous said...

An eagle eye reader saw the front of the SE CRB hanging on the wall behind the model. Anyone else notice the other SE CRB on the wall too...? Looks like the same colour blocking with two greens and black. Such a shame it is bonded. Not only does LLL try to stick us with a price increase due to bonding, but it's done with an inferior product too. Bonded CRBs are uncomfortable and rough where the glued tape is, and they do not hang/sit as nicely when on.

My thought on the colour blocking is how to match a sport bra with it? I like to have a fun contrasting bra under a CRB, but to do so on the SE then there are four colors at play. That is not going to work.

Finally, it we want feed back on Lulumum it is up to us to contribute as well. I like that site but agree that more comments would be welcome. I want to see both of these sites active and appreciate the work that goes into hosting them.

I also appreciate readers comments, especially the person who mentioned they had something like 30 or more CRBs. Makes me feel not so excessive at a dozen :)

Thank you SOOO much for all the insight, ladies! I So appreciate it. I just moved a couple weeks ago from Washington (where the outlet was 2 miles from my house) to Florida (where there isn't a LLL aaaaanywhere close) so I really rely on these threads.

There is no way Gisele is wearing Stills. With the vanity sizing there???? Ladies who are regular 6s are wearing 2s and it doesn't go down from there so unless she had about a foot of fabric taken out, she can't be wearing stills.

@ anon 4:22 pm - thanks for pointing out we should look in the background of the photo. There are two versions - a frond and a coral/pop orange one.

@Anon 8:40 am. I bought the Frond Free to Be bra the other day. It is TTS and one thing I notice that's different is it is softer or should I say stretchier. It was much easier to pull over my head and has more give. I love it quite honestly. I thought I was done buying bras for a while specially That frond is not my color but I love mine. For whatever it's worth, I have been buying LLL for years and have lots and lots of them. None of my free to be bras stretch like this. Hope this helps.

Stills are sold out?!? Now I want one. Geez.

I agree with the comment about Gisele B not wearing stills. In fact, I am 100% certain she is NOT wearing the Be stills either. Ive seen this pic before and although she does wear some Lulu, those pants don't appear to even be Lulu. I read yesterday she is 5'10. Thats super tall and her pants are so long, they would probably fit someone 6' ft tall. I agree, they are NOT stills. I wear a size 2 in the stills and Im almost 5'7, 118 lbs...and the 2 is big on me! I hope...they bring back the stills in organic cotton. :)

OK, so you are right, they appear to be Lulu, but they don't look like stills to me. (Just my opinion) Lulu pant II perhaps?

Those are stills that Gisele is wearing. look at the pockets. she looks really emaciated.

On Gisele, they look like Stills (or Be Still) to me, pant leg is pretty loose. Plus, Stills used to come in Regular and Tall lengths.

STILL can't believe how mean women can be to EACH OTHER, unable to refrain from hurtful comments about someone, whether a famous person or not. You have the plus sized lady and it's compliments galore - agreed! Then you have thinness and the claws come out.
