Cotton Under Crop Photos and More

Two outfit combos for those of you who like these wild Wunder Unders - shown with the Not So Basic Gym Tee and Pump It Up Tank.

Mint Moment Swiftly and Inspire crops. I thought the black edging at the wrists was a shadow when I looked at the main photo on the website. There is also black edging on the hem. It's a cute detail.

Some details on the Right Round pant. Shown with a Beaming Blue Cool Racerback.

The new "Under" crop (cotton Wunder Unders) colors - laceoflage, beaming blue classic stripe and black classic stripe. I tried on the black ones last week. I didn't think they were overly thin if you want to use them as a casual crop and don't plan to bend all the way over. They were super soft but I got the sense they'd pill or suede up easily.

The new Mint Moment and Polar Haze Wunder Under crops. Shown with various tops - Cool Racerback, Not So Basic Gym Tee, and Pump It Up Jacket.

Pump It Up pant photos. You can really see the difference in the two materials - regular luxtreme and brushed luxtreme -  in the photos of the black ones.

Mint Moment Cool Racerback and Pump It Up shorts.

Tried on the mint crop, haze pants, root chakra and pump it up pants. Pump it Up and Mint Crops are a size up item IMO, Haze WUs and Root Chakras were TTS.

Came home with Root Chakra in solid black, and to my surprise, liked the mint and haze WUs. Pump it Up didn't work for me, but I can see people liking them as long as they are ok with going up a size. Don't put them back if your TTS doesn't work. Size up and see if you like em :)

does anyone know how the color block limitless blue/ black wu pants fit?

I went to my local store-(something I rarely do)
There was a pair of Skinny will pants in Pique $79, I like the fit and the pockets. However I expected them to feel similar to the herringbone WUP but they did not.
Tried on- well pulled on the Classic B&W Under tights.... I could read the tag and see my undies as soon as I looked back into the rear mirror-without bending-before I pulled them up to my waist-another No
I heard the educators repeatedly explaining to people that they are meant to be a layer and they do not wick moisture away.
But they are pictured worn as regular crops
Priced at $48 Crops and $54 Pants-Selling on Ebay for approximately $100
I saw a Polar Cream brushed define on sale? Sale Price $99 savings $9
A Pink Tonka striped Stride jacket -Sale price $99 savings $9
I wanted to try on the St. Moritz Jacket-not a single one in store
I wanted to try on the WTF pullover- they had 10 Pullovers all Black and all a size 4-(full price)-I'm a size 6 could be an 8 in jackets-so no results there either.
Spotted the Love Red St. Moritz T-neck but it was a bit on the orange side
I returned my Pink Shell CRB and left with a pair of DSC in pigment blue -marked at $49
Mint moment is a cute color but I prefer my Mentol.
Polar Haze is pretty but I've sworn off of purple and any of it's derivatives

I just don't understand the collar on the Pump it Up jacket.

What color are those Wunder Under crops on the left in the 10th photo? Looks like a periwinkle color? Or is my computer totally off? :)

Everything is just so hideous.

I was partly interested in the Right Round Pant but can count that one too. What a terrible waistband.

Anonymous said...

This is totally OT, but I know some readers also shop at Beyond Yoga and I was wondering what their sizing was like? I am always a 6 in lulu bottoms and was thinking of ordering the lounge capri's in medium.

LoveLulu1 said...

I like the polar haze but would only wear it in a crop. Does anyone know if there is one on the way?

Anonymous said...

Gotta say.....I LOVE the under crops and the under pants. Have worn both to hot yoga...no issues. Did size up to avoid too much stretch in the fabric. I love the feel of them and I really like that they are organic cotton.

Anonymous said...

Order a small! Beyond yoga runs a tad on the larger side. Great fabric. For reference, I'm a 6 too, and that's what I get.

Anonymous said...

Tried the Right Round pants on today. Awful. The waistband is super tight but the legs are incredibly lose. The material feels like a garbage bag. Very disappointing.

Anonymous said...

Ha ha! I was just about to post the same question! I hope there is.

Anonymous said...

I too am a lulu size 6 and the medium BYs fit me perfectly.

OT: got my polar cream St. Moritz Jacket today. This was a blind online, it's only $69 purchase, having never actually seen it in person ... but wow, I LOVE this jacket. Feel bad for those who bought it full price, before the original full price-price cut. This is now a steal at $69. I sized up to an 8, but I may have been able to get into a 6. Played the sizes on the safe side and it worked out. PC is such a beautiful winter color too.

Anonymous said...

I also love the Classic Black and White Under crops + pants. Own both and love love love ! Soooo comfy and soft !

Anonymous said...

Yea, I am feelin bad for the full-pricers too. I think a lot of us bet on the winter jackets and run wear going on MD and scored big on our bet. Glad you like the jacket! What would you rate its warmth at?

Anonymous said...

Order a small if you might run in them or have normal to skinny calves... Medium might slide down if you are not very curvalicious

Marti said....I went to LLL hoping to try on the St. Moritz jacket but they didn't have any. I'm 5'10" tall 139 lbs. I'm worried about the sleeves being to short as they seem to be on LuLu's model in the first 2 pics wearing the beaming blue.
I was wondering how tall are you-for comparison
Thanks

I am between a 4 and 6 with Lulu and I always get a small or extra small in BY. I think extra small fits like Lulu 4 and small fits like a lulu 6. Love BY, many original crops and gathered leggings.

I need to know.. Is the Mint Moment Vinyasa really Rulu?

Anonymous said...

I'm still waiting for my st moritz jacket to arrive on the mail! Also got the $69 price but opted for black. Not digging any of the latest uploads.. Maybe a mint crb that's about it.

Lem said...

@LLA, would you happen to know if Top Speed Crops are coming to US stores? I want some so. bad. Thanks!

I have the blue St Moritz jacket, and a black one on the way today (yay! $69!). I ordered my normal size 6 which fits perfectly fine. Not tight anywhere, but I rarely have that issue with lulu's jackets. For reference, I am 5'6",127 w/ broad shoulders, but I am pretty lean up top with thin, LONG arms. I actually went back to check the sleeve length after reading the comment about the sleeves looking short. The sleeves are definitely long enough. They go down to about 1/2 in above my knuckles. As far as warmth goes, I wore it over a thin, ss t-shirt in overcast, high 30's/maybe 40 weather on New Year's Day and was plenty warm. It's thick.

Anonymous said...

I've been debating on the jacket too. Cannot decide if I should go with my usual 6 or size up to an 8. I'm worried about the sleeve length too. Looks short in some of the online photos. What size do you wear in defines, scubas, etc?

Anonymous said...

Agree! Wishing for a polar haze wuc!

Anonymous said...

I'm a 6 in lulu and have gotten small in by and even xs for a pair of their pants but they were a little on the sheer side. Their waistband tends to run a little big so the xs waistband fit the best. They definitely run big.

LuluAddict said...

@ Lem - I hope so. Australia has some cute new ones out now.

luluFemom said...

@ HP Sauce - the striped Vinyasas ARE rulu (finally!) and sooo soft and thick - much more so than last year's heathered ones. I only wish they came in more practical colors - took lulu all season, but they finally got the fabric right! (Btw, I just put on the pique one and my just-turned-5-year-old son said, "Why did you just put on your Vinyasa scarf in the house?" Lol - I love that he knows the proper names for all of lulu's products. My poor husband will be horrified. ;)

yogibabe said...

For Beyond Yoga bottoms. I'm a 2 in lulu bottoms and an XXS for BY. Hope this helps! BY do run big (waist)for their bottoms, IMO.

Sandra said...

Check out the latest review... Buyer says its not and GEC says "consensus says it is"... My product notification listed it as "Vinyasa scarf II" meaning LUON LIGHT but online has not changed it. It might be the "new rulu" becuse I saw the new astro wunder unders and they are definitely more poly feeling than the regular wunder unders... Kind of how the CRBs have changed slightly... More poly feeling IMO

so quick question, did a whole bunch of jackets that were marked down for boxing day, then further reduced (which seriously ticked of several customers) - am i correct in seeing all those same items BACK to normal price and removed from wmtm or am i losing it?

i have not been looking that carefully on the website but have been looking here. there is barely anything in wmtm now.

just curious.

Anonymous said...

Hilarious. In wmtm I can't believe they still want $89 for the Daily Yoga Jacket in that abomination of beaming blue/classic stripe polar cream beaming blue and $79 for the Sattva Jacket! I bet if they were $49 and $39 they'd move. I personally wouldn't buy them at any price as I think they're terrible! Down TTS Jacket also another joke at $199.

Anonymous said...

My St. Moritz jacket just arrived. It is very cozy and warm. I ordered a size 4, which is my usual size. It runs smaller than I expected through the torso, so I would go with your define size. The sleeves were plenty loose and long on my average-length arms. I do like the jacket and it is definitely worth the $69, but this and all of their other jackets this season would be better with another inch or so of fabric on the bottom IMO. My bum gets cold without a little bit of coverage. For reference, I'm 5'5" 115 lbs.

Anonymous said...

Thanks @2:54 AM for your response.
I am curious if someone with the St. Moritz jacket in 6 or 8 will provide the actual sleeve measurement from pit to cuff. My local store does not have any of the jackets for me to try on. I'm 3+some inches taller than the poster-all arms and legs-lanky as they say.
Thanks

my next purchase is the WUC in polar haze. I will get a lot of use from that one since it is reversible. I am wearing out the 2 that I already have, and if the material is as soft as my boogie shorts in the mint moment, I will love living in them.

I love the unders and bought one of each- at $29 I couldn't resist! They are a little on sheer side but I usually wear a longer top anyway . Honestly the charcoal are identical to my diversity crops which I paid full price for.

Anonymous said...

LLA: do u think the dog runner pants will be at the warehouse sale? Thanks!

Anonymous said...

I like mint moment an I loved menthol, but I'm still waiting for a pretty, saturated kelly or emerald green to emerge! I'm tired of pink, purple, blue, and orange!

HPSauce said...

@lulufemom thanks! I waited too long for fear of incorrect labeling on the website, and they're all gone. Thats fine tho as i would prefer neutral colors anuway, and I am in the process of purchasing a mini check black one from one of the FB pages, and have a bid in for a static coal one on anothe FB page... I also have found a heathered power purple one too... I went on the hunt for soooo long, and now I can't get them all!! I so wish I could!!! Ha ha ha we'll see.. I may sell my Speedy TN as the scratchy top arm sleeves are a bit annoying... :( no wonder why they made it to WMTM..

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 2:52 pm - It's hard to tell since the blue ones that were in WMTM are gone on the Canadian side, sold out I assume, but are still there on the US side of the site. There is probably a decent chance they will be there if Canadian stores still have them in stock.

Mini store try on report - I went to my regular today to seek out the Pump It Up jacket that I have been admiring this week. To my surprise, it didn't look great on me. I went with a size 6 (I usually wear 6 in tops, 8 in defines). The jacket is super soft and in the mint color is gorgeous. It didn't look right on me though. I am a little busty (36C) and the jacket was still huge throughout the chest but fitted at the waist, so the 4 wouldn't work at all if I sized down. Much to my surprise I went home with the black Root Chakra pant. I'm petite (5'2") and the pants are really cute on - the hit right at the ankle. If you are petite, you should really give these pants a try! I also tried on the Not So Basic Gym tee - it was eh. It is definitely a size down item but I didn't think it was very flattering and was an easy pass for me. To my surprise, there was a lot in my store that wasn't on sale that is in WMTM.

Anonymous said...

They seem like luon light to me... Not running luon!

Anonymous said...

Thanks! I'm hoping black might show up...fingers crossed.

Anonymous said...

@LLA - Do you think the Unders will ever turn up online? I know I would love the beaming ones but don't feel like venturing to and dealing with a store as I'm under the weather and also just am not going to play the track stuff down at various stores game this year. Thanks!

Anonymous said...

@ 10:36 AM, if one of the jackets you're referring to is the Run Bundle Up Jacket, the all black version and the reflective versions never went to wmtm and all remain at the original price. Only black/alberta lake, clarity/polar, limitless blue and love red went on sale. This morning when I was looking at wmtm Canada, clarity/polar and love red were still available. Right now 8:38 PM ET, those colours are gone from wmtm (Canada). They probably have all sold out? But you never know, maybe they didn't, maybe they'll reappear. That's been known to happen too on wmtm.

The Run Turnaround Jacket (which had a 2nd price drop) in black also never made it to wmtm. I know Alberta Lake did.

LuluAddict said...

I would think the new striped Under crops will show up in the next upload if they are showing up at all.

Anonymous said...

Where is the green???!!!!! I am so so sad I didn't buy a portapottie green regular scuba I could cry...

Anonymous said...

Usually I just ask if it's on sale like on the website and an interesting thing They do then - they say "yes you can do that but it's final sale then"... That happens or it just rings in as the sale meaning they were just too lazy to put the stickers on.

Focus said...

Exactly!! I'm game for clown stripes at $49. But not at $89.

@Anon 11:24 re: St. Moritz sleeve length -

I'm 5-7, 34c-d, 145 and glad I got the 8. Tried the 6 on in store today and it was tight across the chest. Sleeves on the 8 are 22" from bottom of pit to cuff. The sleeve covers most of the bottom half of my fingers. Hope that helps!

Anonymous said...

If you are a pear or have hips, for the St Morritz, size up. I'm a solid 6 in all lulu tops and jackets but found the hips so narrow that I had to go up to an 8 just to zip it up. Made it biggish in the body but I'm only using it for casual wear so I can deal.

Re: sales stores vs. on line. What's on sale on line does not automatically mean it's on sale in store. In my city (several stores) sometimes/often it matches, but there are times where wmtm items never go on sale in a store(s) I go to (when I asked about a particular items, was told no, not marked down). I've sometimes seen wmtm items on sale earlier in store or on sale later. Definitely, there are things that go on sale in store that never go on sale on line, and it's well worth it to make the rounds if you have time. Each store does not always have the same items on sale, I see that all the time. I know it's the whole "entrepreneur" model thing where stores get to decide etc. I imagine it's based on their level of stock and so forth.

My latest example would be my Runder Under l/s shirt in mini check pique black heathered black (so soft!) which I got on sale for $59 during Boxing Week. I happened upon this in one store only. It's still full price on line and it was already sold out in my size on line.

The Spiteful Chef said...

I always size up in jackets anyway, because you'll be wearing stuff underneath them...

As for the sleeves-- I can answer that. I have a 71" wingspan *am only 5'9 but very lanky* and the sleeves comfortably reach the base of my hands in a size 8. They're not going to hit my knuckles or even get close, but they aren't too short even on my arms.

The classic stripe unders DO suede immediately (like first wearing) but it's not bad looking. Just kind of part of the look, if that makes sense. Like the inside of french terry before it's worn or washed. I don't mind it at all.

sophia said...

so jealous of your find! i LOVE my runder unders (I was never into the turnaround LS which i know most people love, but the runder under really works for me). i wear my check pique black one all the time!

Are you happy with the size 4 st mortiz jacket or do u wish u could have got a 6?
