@LLA - Do the running jackets usually make it to WMTM? They are waaay too overpriced for what you get.
Is the lace part on the Bundle up Jacket reflective?? Does anyone know?
Why is it that sporting the lace look on my workout clothes is noooo appealing to me?? No matter how I look at it, I can't like any design with that lace pattern.
OT: I am trying to decide whether to purchase the Run U-Turn Pull over OR the What The Fluff Pull over... I honestly like both very much but I think I would wear the U-Turn more in doors and find it would be great for traveling since I can wear it grey and black on one side or solid black on another; 2 shirts in one BUT for $50 more I could get the WTF... Which I would probably only wear as a casual jacket not to run in... Which should I choose and more importantly which one would have a better resale value? (I'm normally a 4 but since I'm 7 months prego I am wearing an 8 top now.) Thanks for any input :)
Love the lace on the Speedy turtleneck but otherwise am on the fence and not impressed with this upload.
Loving extra reflectivity in the Bundle Up but I'm still on the fence about needing a winter run coat. We don't get that cold for that long where I am: a couple bouts of day time highs at or below 15F but most winter temperatures are 15-30. I was aiming to just layer short sleeve swiftly + long-sleeve rulu + a wind coat with a pair of sweat-type pants on the bottom + hat + neck gaiter + mitts. Am I crazy? Am I going to freeze?
Love the look of that miracle jacket on that girl. She looks so beautiful! Unf, hate the price so looks like that coat will stay on the rack. Does anyone have any idea on whether the lace detail of the draft dodger is reflective?
I managed to get to a store this weekend and tried on Runder Unders, High Rise WU's, Skinny Wills and the Barre Pulse pants. I liked the shape of the barre pulse but not the seams or the colour blocking, they were a bit wide around the hem for me too, but they were flattering. The Runder Unders cut me in an odd place on the leg with the seam below the knee and made my dumpy legs seem even shorter, but they are so soft and comfy. The Skinny Wills didn't fit on my waist very well at all and bagged at the back. I did have to size up because the shop had no 6's, I probably should have sized down to try them on.The High Rise WU are ones I would really recommend people to try if you like the tight fit but have a lot more of a cardio work out. I teach dance and Pilates, I love my regular WU's for my Pilates but they just don't stay put in my dance lessons and now that the gusset is different you have to be so careful hitching the damn things up! Theses babies stay put and don't move! That's what I need, I really hope that Lulu think about these being a permanent WU.I also got myself a back on track in laceoflage, I like the print even more in real life than I do on the net.
OMG....I sooooo DISLIKE the lace on everything!! LOL... (Shaking head) Yes, I'll be saving LOTS of $$$ on Lulu this year. too bad, because I have lots of resell money from selling Lulu pieces, I have become bored with. BOO! -Disp. Income Girl
Just tried on the Bundle Up Jacket in beaming blue with the lace hood. I already have the Alberta Lake one. The BB is soooo pretty, but the hood is very stiff. Probably because of the reflective nature of the material, but it was a bit weird trying to put it on.
I would not spend that amount of money on a jacket I wouldn't fit into in two months ;)I'd wait till the baby was born! Congratulations, BTW :)
I ran the other night when it was about 20F in the dog runner pants, a crb, a regular define jacket, ultra light wind breaker and mitts and was a little too warm.
Even on someone cute, the Miracle Jacket is ugly and unflattering. I'd bet money on it going to wmtm (obviously I will not be buying it).The lace stuff is not for me. I think it's totally dated. Not quite "20 minute workout", but may as well be from the same. I think it's a definite "what was I thinking?"...and you weren't, you were addicted to LLL.
Thank you! I sort of need something... I'm just moved to Washington from Arizona and I am FREEZING my booty off here! I am currently living in LLL CRB's, love the extra long and define jackets with vinyasa scarfs... I looked around for stylish maternity wear but it quite frankly maternity clothe suck! I'm finding that I am wearing LLL for a lot more lounging around than working out.
WTF pullover doesn't have enough stretch to last your final trimester. U-turn pullover is actually a bit short in the torso, so not a good option either. I would stick with LS swiftlys, which are longer. They were a lifesaver during both my winter pregnancies. I understand the compulsion to buy stuff when pregnant...but i would try to resist!
I'm 5'3" so the U-Turn goes over my belly and covers the top of my bum in a size 8. The WTF pullover has rulu panels on the side for room to "grow" and is even longer, it was comfy BUT I couldn't decide between the two and the mall was beyond crowded so I left empty handed. I would love to wait but I look like Sophia Vergara from the show "modern family"... When she was in denial about needing maternity clothes... My reg tops look like 1/2 shirts, not a good look! LOL! I take really good care of my LLL so I figure I should probably purchase something that I can wear a few times and has a good resale value.Thank you for the advice about the LS swiftly, I actually had the BB in my cart this morning :)
