Burning Yellow Swiftly Tank from Australia. I hope we get this, too. Lulu puts out this kind of yellow very infrequently.

Shell Pink Post Savasana Bag. It looks paler in real life than this photo and reminded me of a color you'd use on a baby's room.

The Love St. Moritz Jersey.

Also from Australia - Pump it up shorts in Burning Yellow and Polar Haze/Inkwell/Black and White Stripes (the kitchen sink version?).

Top Speed Crops in Inkwell/Flare Light Stripe. (Also from Australia)

I want the swiftly tank in burning yellow and polar haze, and an LS swiftly in beaming blue!! Such nice colors!

Those shorts on the other hand? Yikes. I bet they're lined with polka dots (after all, stripes, color blocking and polka dots are the LLL holy trinity right and should all be included together on one item to boost sales ;) haha)!

Not really digging those wide diagonal stripes on the waistband of the Top Speed Crops. They look like caution stripes.

I am kind of interested in this style of crop though, I like the seaming and zipper on the side. They just look too short for me, like they would ride up my knees.

These Savasana bags are ridiculously over-priced at $48. Check out the Envirosax at Eco-handbags.ca, they are smaller, but better colours, and under $10!

OT-I just got my latest shipment of the creamsicle speed shorts and the liner brief is black and totally shows through. It is like wearing black panties under white pants. These are definitely a return. I don't know how this got past QA/QC. So disappointed. Ugh.

I like that burning yellow swiftly. I bet it looks even better on a crb where the color is usually richer. The post savasana bag is hideous. I saw this at the store and thought maybe I should give my college kids this but I didn't want them to hate me forever. Lol. It's so big it makes you look like a bag lady (literally). The shorts OMG, are they seriously now piecing together scraps from the factory?

Those shorts are AWFUL.
I wear the swiftly tanks (for running) and hear a lot about the CRB on this web page. Can someone compare the fits? My stomach is my problem area where I don't want things too clingy. Love the swiftly tank other than the long(er) length. Thx!

For those of u who are looking for some warm running tights (that actually do their job in keeping you warm) and at a mich lower cost than LLL...and made in Canada-sugoi subzero and midzero tights are a winner!

LLA I sent you photos of the shorts to your gmail account if you want to use them. I also posted them on the LLL FB page.

Same here! I was bummed. And I ordered the pink & black swan ones too but just don't like the look of the 2 colors in that way. Sigh. Is it really so hard???

Agree with you Pink Peony that Burning Yellow would be better in a CRB. I'm not interested in Swiftly tops/tanks anyway so will wait for a CRB.

See the link. Look familiar? re: arrow chevron white black. In the past, on this board, it has been pointed out LLL borrowed from another brand. In all honesty, I have no idea which came first, running skirts' version or LLL's.

OT- Can someone recommend another down running skirt besides the Lulu one ? I've checked the internet but cannot find any ? Thanks ! (Not convinced that I want to keep the Lulu one as it doesn't cover thus keep the bum all that warm).

@McFrannie- i tried the creamsicle pop speeds in store and thought the same thing. I liked the color and 4-way stretch but WHY on earth would they put a dark blue liner on a light orange shorts.

Yikes!!! Literally all of lulu's clothes have been hideous in the last month. What is going on there?? The color palette is just awful. Just bought the Zella "scuba" and I love it! $58 and a cross between the old and new scuba- lined hood, heavier weight but still some stretch. Lulu obsession is fading...

My stomach is my problem area too and I keep trying CRBs on and they never look good even when I size up. Maybe two sizes up it would be better..:/

@ANON6:55 ... I too wear the Swiftly tanks and my stomach is my problem area. As much as I like the CRBs for yoga (because they stay put), I have sold all of mine because they are very clingy and I just don't feel as if they are flattering. If you are close to a LL store they will hem the tanks for you, free of charge. Hopefully that helps answer some of your questions.

I love Envirosax!

@9:14 - What I find most interesting about these shorts is that on the product page on the Canadian site you can still see these shorts and I don't think they have a dark liner. You can't see or tell there is a liner at all.

I could see the liner through the material when they were still in the cellophane packing bag and also when just laying on my counter. When I tried them on, it was even more pronounced.

I think there was a change up, whether it was intended or not remains to be seen. If it was intended to be this way I seriously question some judgement here.

@8:41PM -- I second the request for skirt recommendations. I am returning my Hot Cheeks today for the same reason -- it doesnt cover anything in my size 4! Also looks silly with the hemlines of my tops, more like I am wearing 2 awkward length tops than anything.

Also returning the Toasty Tech tights today too... I think the fabric looks sueded, and the rise is too high for me. I would kill to have another pair of the Run Stay on Course Tech Tights from last year, they are my FAVE and I wont buy another pair of tech tights til I can find some of equal quality. Recommendations accepted!

I'm so excited for this new yellow; I've been waiting for this for nearly a year. I've eagerly ordered every yellow that's been released, and sent them all back in disappointment. THIS one, however, holds promise.

Those shorts are heinous; they look like running shorts from the late '70s, early '80's! If Lulu went by a "3 strikes and you're out" rule with their designers, imagine the turnover they'd have had this year..

Im a pretty fit gal and bought my first swiftly tank recently. I like to wear size 8 & 10s in tanks, although a snotty gal at a Lulu store griped at me, "THERE'S NO WAY YOU ARE THAT SIZE!!! You MIGHT BE a size 6, if even that???" LOL... It was so rude!! I bit recently tho and bought a size 6 in a swiftly tank and it was clingy and too short in the body! I found it showed everything and emphasized big boobs! :( I ended up selling mine.

I received my beaming blue power y yesterday. I don't own any of the new version, so I was skeptical. The color is gorgeous and I actually much prefer the length/fit of the new one. Not very supportive, so if I use it for cardio I will need a flow y under it.

Also got the laceophlage scuba, expecting to be disappointed. I really like it! The print is really pretty. The new scuba no longer feels like a jacket, but I think I may get more use out of one this weight. Wish they still made both, though!

My other purchase was the red slub daily yoga jacket. Love the fabric! The jacket styling is a little plain, so having a flashier fabric works well. The jacket has an upscale look to it and the fit is the same as the strides, just an inch shorter than the most recent strides.

So, surprisingly, I am keeping all of my purchases. I don't live near a store, so I hope this helps others in the same situation. While we may not love all of the changes being made, some may work for you.

I live the new yellow, I hope it comes here at all. Remember what happened with the pop orange define? North America literally never got them, and they aren't even on ebay. :(

Skhoop makes a great down mini skirt that is perfect for running and stays put!

I also agree with other readers. NOT like many of the new styles! :( My wallet has been on an 8 week holiday, because I hate the new designs so much!

Athleta Snow Stomper Skirt.

If you're a trainer or instructor and live near a store, you can get 30% discounts.

I got my JcPenney's DSP the other day and I swear I like them better than my Lulu's. I think I am going to put my Lulu DSPs on ebay.

canada goose also makes a few but i am thinking they would be too long to run in. i have not tried on but i believe from the product description they were 14 inches - i think anyways.

expensive yes, fantastic quality and guaranteed not live plucked.

The Hot Cheeks Skirt works for me. I really like it and it has given me some needed warmth. Am also size 4. Length covers me by just going past my bottom. However, it could be slightly longer and then it would be better. It is fitted on me, does not pull, is not too tight. It doesn't shift at all either. It's already been on a few long runs including today (-6C) and has passed the shift/ride up test every time, by staying put. It looks great with my LL jacket, my tights, and not as if I'm wearing weird layers.

I too was looking up down skirt alternatives. Hint Hint LLL. You can also get the Skhoop short down skirt on rei.com. There's even a little video. It's pricey at $159. There are pluses to the skirt: longer with side zips. You could unzip as much as you want and it would not impede running, walking, skating, skiing.

Tried on the Beaming Blue Forme jacket today. When I was sliding my arms in the sleeves, I could see the pointy shoulder thing that people have mentioned, but once the sleeves were all the way on and the jacket was situated, the shoulders looked totally normal. The fabric was so nice and soft. I do have slightly wider shoulders, though, being 5'10", so I wonder if I fill the shoulders out more than a smaller gal would, hence the pointy issue some have reported.
I also got a an Alberta Lake swiftly tee on the clearance rack, my first one and dang if that sucker doesn't ride up when running with Luxtreme crops. Darn it. It is lovely but it will be the only one I buy, since I am already super paranoid about it snagging.

Athleta makes the "snow stomper" skirt. Sort of same look as Lulu's, but longer.

I got my new power y in beaming blue and it was much more fitted and covered more in the bust area! Much better than the pinks, orange, currant power y ' s released since redesign.

I like the length of the redesign. But prefer more coverage for my 34D.
The new BB is a winner.

Sara Jenn I also waited for the Pop Orange Define, in vain. So dissappointing

Those shorts look like Muffin Top City. Why is it so hard to get a decent rise on shorts?
