Not digging these at all,
Nothing desirable for me. Phew!
Wow. Never thought I would see the athletic version of mom jeans in the form of yoga pants. Would like to see how this would look on a curvier person.
Loing forward to the bag. I will definitely get it at $48.
Anyone know if and when we might see some gratitude wraps?
LOL...It is cute, however, when I saw the outfit at top with the color block wonder unders, it reminded me of Shamu...right up there with the beetlejuice pants
Lol - the Shamu look.
@ christie - one would think you'd re-release an item that was so desired it crashed the lulu website when it went on line. However, god knows what criteria lulu uses to decide to bring back items because their choices are very irrational to me.
@ anon 4:53 pm - I think designers are trying to push the high-waisted look again. I hope it never comes back. I was watching some 80s (early 90s?) movie the other day and everyone's jeans were practically up to their boobs - such a bad look.
Want the gratitude wraps too!!!!!!!!
sadly, looking around NYC, the high-waisted look has ALREADY come back. [note that lulu changes trends, it doesn't set them. all this fugly stuff you see - harem pants, high waisted pants, color blocking, cropped tops - these are trends that lulu is buying into. the problem is that they SHOULDN"T].
Does any one have any input on the U-Turn pullovers? I almost bought it but it looked like it would get "old and ratty" pretty fast; any one know if it washes well????
WOW! Just when I thought things could not possibly get worse or uglier (color blocking and that Forme Jacket being the latest culprits) in LLL design, here's the "Flip Up and Out pant". Unbelievably terrible.
Wow. Wow! They should really stop smoking cra ck!
Oh those pants. Those pants need to be banned from wear.
Blah. That tank looks terrible on the girl in the 2nd picture. She is TINY and it looks like she has armpit fat. I'm sure she doesn't but what a horrid look. Easy pass for me. Along with the fug high-waisted pants. The chevron bag looks cute and if it really is only $48 I will probably go for it, but I wonder if the straps/handle is adjustable? It looks like it hangs down past that girls knees in the one picture.
I meant Chases trends, not changes
Turn Around LS, please. Best thing I own.I would buy them in every color.
@Tracy- The armpit fat issue... I saw that too! And, she is itty bitty! In fact, it probably is not fat at all!! Terrible designs.
Sorry Lulu, I won't be jumping on the early 90's wagon. I lived through those gawd awful fashions and never want to go back. Save that stuff for the teeny boppers that were never there!!!
Has anyone seen the Post Savasana Bag in person? At that price and with the stuff they've been pulling lately, I'm concerned it may be just an oversized reusable bag. However trying to be optimistic!
I agree but didn't want to say anything... That is EXACTLY how it would look on me, even at my thinnest I have that armpit bulge that she has... I can't help it, I'm sure not everyone will have that but unfortunately I do.
Hideous.
I saw the new flip tank in my local store - very very much a let down. As are the pleasing pant - I'll stick with my tea lounge! Tried on the Barre pant and sadly passed - too shiny in the black swan. And an ed and I were lamenting how they have not received the CAM pant nor the Bare back tank. But I think the bum cherks skirt should be in this upload??? On a separate note I did snag a serenity sweater on sale - never thought I would love wearing a sweater upside down so much. And I love my Latte socks in grey and RG!!
I went to the store today- I wanted to buy something but NOTHING was appealing. The Forme jackets look super cheap and I hate the color blocking. Tried on the new scuba in the WAFS print and it was cute, but way too short and not worth the price IMO. Herringbone daily yoga jacket looked promising but not a fan of the metal zipper so I didn't try it on. Blah. I saw what looked like a heathered clarity yellow CRB. I want a limitless blue CRB or power y! Solid or heathered please none of this color blocking. Well I want some Frye boots so good thing I'm not spending $$ on Lulu
I like the black and white WUs in the first picture. They're one of the few if not only colour blocked items that has appealed to me so far. Only problem is that I can see myself spilling coffee on the white in the front within 10 minutes of leaving my house, as seems to be the case with my white slub tea lounge pants, so I may have to remain content admiring them from afar.

Meh. Everyone is down on the high-waisted pant, but frankly, they will look like any other Lulu pant once a tank/top is pulled on over it. It'll probably be good if you want more coverage in any position where a top could ride up.
A whole lotta yuck. Fugly.
This is exactly what I'm afraid of too. Price seems too good to be true.
I have a pair of Groove Down pants where you can fold the waistband over or leave it up. The problem with a high waist is that it's freaking hot where it overlaps a tank.
The bag looks like it's made of thin nylon to me. As someone said - a glorified shopper tote. The $48 price confirms it. If it were a substantial bag it would be $100.
I guess I'm in the minority, but I absolutely love my Virtuous Tanks -have it in all four colors. I am a B cup, but I did have to size up from my standard 8 to a 10 (and I'm 5'8" 130 lbs, so I don't think they made this in enough of a variety of sizes. But I have wide (rock climbing) shoulders and almost all other tanks/bras, cut in my arm/chests and annoy the heck out of me. I don't have back fat in Virtuous, but maybe because I sized up. Most comfy top I own. I could do without the adjustable bra (just more plastic to get in my way and potentially break) but I'll take it! And works for running, pilates, yoga, climbing, and hiking!
I would be really interested to try on the Flip Not Flop Tank if the straps didn't go across the wings (scapulas?) in the back and didn't have damn plastic to dig in while on your back for pilates/yoga/stretching. Oh well. Just my two cents....
OT - I got my Ice Queen pants today and they are so much more TTS then the Clear As Mud pants, no seams rubbing on legs, but the opening is much wider than I expected - more boot cut. Not sure if I will keep, as I am quite clumsy and trip a lot and could get tangled in these while running - but love the zipper pockets, just which they were tight at ankle or even straight leg!

Wow all this stuff is really unappealing!! I've pretty much turned to eBay to snag some good deals on vintage lulu, recently got a few CRBs and a power y and they are just lovely and in great shape. It's pieces like these that remind me oh how the quality on these pieces just isn't the same anymore :(
Oh, and the bag looks similar to that bag they had about 6 months ago that was $48 - I ordered mine and it was so thin and couldn't carry anything heavy/significant, it went right back! Hope this one's better, as I like the pattern too, but I doubt it.

If I wanted to remember what it was like to wear maternity pants over my belly, I'd buy those flip flop pants. But I don't.
Absolutely NOTHING for me......... WOW....what a dry well this year!! Week 6 of buying NOTHING!!! :( BOO!
On another note, I just lost pretty near 24 lbs!!! This was not from diet & exercise it was 98% diet and just changing how I ate and what I ate....I lost this weight over 6 weeks! So proud of my self! (Weight I lost, was baby weight)

I was thinking the same thing!!! I could not stand them when I was pregnant, and certainly don't want to bust them out when I'm not! BLAH
I worked at a lulu for a while, and now mainly just feel pity for all my former co-workers who have to convince themselves of how awesome the products are as they come in. The Flip Up and Out pants just made me chuckle as I visualized the especially peppy gals gushing about that ugly-ass way-too-high waist.
I think people who are self conscious of their bellies might like those pants, you can always roll them down. The woman in the photo actually looks pretty classy in those pants. Nothing worse than being in a yoga class and seeing bellies hanging and butt cracks showing, these pants solve that problem.
The girl in the tank with the armpit fat can size up, that top is too tight on her.
One thing I don't like is the color blocking makes me think of the circus.
I kinda of like the flip up and out pant + bra look: but how many of us can really pull that off?
High cut tops + big boobs just look saggy to me. And the models had arm-put fat?! How awful.
Wishing for some more basics to round out my collection: a couple more CRBs and LS Swiftlys.
I plan on trying the flip up and out pant and the breathe easy bra look. I am 41 and mom of 4 but in good shape. Only issue I have is that when I bend over I have just skin that hangs vertically from being stretched out. So not attractive and I can't do a darn thing about it. When I am upright my belly looks damn good. lol Will let you know how this turns out. : )
