Ugh, I held my nose and ordered the new $68 (!) Spinerette shorts. I've been living in my Run: Take Flight Bike shorts all summer and desperately searching eBay for another pair. I really like the 7-8" length short for running (and spin) so these are exactly what I've been looking for.
I also ordered the Black Swan Cool Racerback. I know this one is going to go fast.
I also ordered the Top Speed Tank. This is just my kind of tank for the gym and spin - open back, wide straps, scoop neckline, and made of luxtreme. I wasn't sure of the fit since it's new so I ordered two sizes and will take back the one that doesn't work. I really liked how it looked and moved
in the video showing lulu ambassador, Kate Hickl, wearing it while spinning.
I was tempted by a few other things but ordering three items is fairly unprecedented for me. I need to see the other items in the store.
I was tempted by the Rose Herringbone Define but once I saw it was the brushed version, I didn't want it. I find them too warm for Southern California. I like to be able to wear my Defines year round. I also have a very similar Define, the
black mini check, from last year so can use that as an excuse not get this one. I might change my mind once I see this one in the store but for now I can live without it.
I was also tempted by the Runder Under LS but only Canada got the Tender Violet version so an easy no-sale for me.
I know a lot of people are excited to see the All Sport bra is back. I have a couple and I like to wear them for hikes or walks. They are comfortable but smash me down a little. I still like the Energy bra best of the moderate support bras.
Boo on the change to the Groove pant - the Groove *Slim that has a narrower knee. The Groove is a pretty perfect pant. No need to make yet another tight-kneed pant.
A lot of us were wondering what the Creamsicle colored bottoms we saw in the photos was. Now we know - it was Creamsicle Spinerette shorts. I hope they gave it to that
spin instructor ambassador to check out how sheer it becomes when sweat soaked. She was sweating buckets in the video.

Nothing for me. I really want the wunder under crop in Tender Violet but it wasn't uploaded. I'll wait for the Spinerette Bra to come out in a color I like. And I'll try on the All Sport Bra at the store.
Lol... think I might be the only on who thinks that Herringbone define is super ugly! But for those who love it I hope you managed to snag one :)
I ordered the new striped LS rulu top to try, the all sports bra to try, and a cream and pop CRB! Not as expensive an upload as I was expecting since there were no new speeds or WUC.
I actually like the idea of the Groove Slim. I got the Creamsicle and Black Swan CRBs, the Alberta Lake Gather and Crow, Herringbone Alberta WU, and the Creamsicle/Black Swan NLT. I'm tempted by the Polar Cream CRB and the Black Swan Gather and Crows too, but I'm hoping for Black Swan WUs and waiting for the Tender Violet ones.
Lulu is getting weird with their new products. An upload based on spin class? Many of their customers don't spin. Creamsicle looks very sheer too. Passing...

Disposable income girl here. this was easy for me. Nothing for me, except one of the new headbands. Tired of orange and purple. We have seen these colors before. In my opinion, the styles are becoming not so unique. I spoke with one of Lulus competitors, not so long ago and they said they are seeing what they call "Lulu Fatigue" all over B.C. That people are starting to get bored and move on to other brands. I thought that was an interesting comment, from one of the higher ups. although nice, I'm tired of seeing groove pants, astro pants, scuba hoodies and define jackets. lulu needs to update their staple items--I'm currently very bored with what Lululemon is coming out with. would be nice to see Be Still Pants, Lux hoodies, GWraps, dog walking pants, fuzzy fleece pullivers and cozy Après Yoga Jackets. Would also be nice to see a come back of the 5Year Pima shirts for ladies. Enough with the overkill on Asto Pants & Grooves. And for those that aren't Luon lovers, why not make more pants in organic

Confession time. After thinking on it for a few minutes I went back and ordered the Polar Cream and grey Runder Under too (I have already ordered the Creamsicle Pop one). I tell myself I'll take one of them back but I may end up keeping them both if I like them enough.

Did anyone notice the "limitless blue" in the Breath of Fire skirt? And -- do we think that blue that showed up in an in-store bra only a few weeks ago will ever show up online?
I ordered the orange top speed tank (straps may be too long for me), a back to class jacket (wanted that last time around, but it never went online) and the new skirt. I actually set my alarm for 15 minutes after upload (which I never do!) and tried to order the size 4 in the plaid skirt. It was already gone! I am wondering if this is lulu's scarcity strategy at work?? None of the other sizes have sold out and it's six hours later. Maybe they think people will panic that they are selling out and they must buy their size now! Seems strange that a skirt would sell out in 15 minutes this time of year. No more alarms for upload for me!
OMG I am so tempted by the back to class jacket in the lighter color.. Someone said this jacket's a rerelease? Do we like it? Lol what's French terry like.... Is that where its sort of like the thin sweatpants material you can buy that's not soft and fuzzy inside when you first get it? (Anyone know what I mean?)

I'm not actually a fan at all of the rose herringbone define. It would be something I'd easily get sick of, and I'm sure a lot will end up on the Lulu Trading Site. But its nice to see new prints and patterns, as I know a lot of people like them!
The ONLY thing I wanted from the upload as the BlackSwan CRB, but since I can't stay up til 2am my time for the upload (I have to work!), when I got up at 6 am my size 4 was already sold out. Since I have no store near me at all, looks like I missed out on that one.
Sorry lulu, there are few things worth staying up that late for, and a tank isn't one of them!
I think the saddest thing is that there are people out there that order a whole bunch online just to sell it on ebay for a profit. So LULU's scarcity model works for them, but doesn't work for the consumer, which is saddening.
I would really like to see some reviews on the Top Speed Tank and the rulu running LS before I order. I would also really like to hear how people like the Back to Class jacket. I think it looks really cute it photos, but how does it compare to the scuba? Is it as fitted around the waist and how warm is it?

It seems that the All Sport Bra could potentially create side boobs due to the low cut on the sides. I can see a little even on the model.

@ anonymous 6:50 am - The Black SWan sold out super quick. Keep an eye on the website for it to get restocked mid-week.Not sure if that will happen but that's what happened when the Bordeaux Studio Pants sold out quickly last week - it was restocked mid week. I will post if they show up again.

@ anon2:37 am - I see lots of lulu in spin classes so many of their customers do spin. Many of the run products are perfect for spin - lightweight and wicking. They are coming out with a Crossfit capsule at the beginning of next year which many people are excited to see. Lululemon isn't just for yoga.
I thought this was going to be a tempting upload, but surprisingly nothing for me. The only thing I am interested in is the All Sport bra, but I'll wait until I'm in store to try it on. Is that Black Swan the same as last year? If so, I have more than enough of it already!

Bought the CRB in Black Swan and Top Speed Tank in Black Swan. Not sure how the TST will fit, but I'll just return it if it doesn't. I am usually a 8-10 and I bought a 10.

Just the Black Swan CRB for me...and I hate to admit it, but the scarcity model was what pushed me to buy it! I was going to wait to go to a store later this week and see the color in real life, but seeing that it sold out on the Canada side made me jump to purchase it (from the US side) today! Oh well. Beautiful looking color--I hope it is soft!
I wanted to like the Rulu pullover but I am SO SICK of the ugly color blocking, ugh. Nothing else appealed to me too much. I am holding out for some Alberta Lake items next week--hoping to see the LS swiftly and a CRB!

@ anon 7:37 am - I hope it means they come out with something like the old Knockout shorts again. They are like a basic gym short, as in gym class short, that I know a lot of people like to wear for CF. I've been wearing the predecessor to the Knockout, Relaxed Fit short, all summer. They are so comfy.

The sleeves on the long sleeve Spincity top are just.... weird. I don't like them at all, especially on the creamsicle pop color.

SD Runner - Back to Class is actually quite different from Scuba. Not as thick, and stretchier and softer. Longer too. But I can't stand the overly girly ruffly hoody on that one.
Completely off topic, but how likely is it that lulu will re-release jackets that they had last year? I really wanted the hustle jacket that came out last fall and have been kicking myself ever since for not buying it when I had the chance...

There are loads of people who wear lulu to spin classes there are 2 very big spin studios b my office in NYC and they are always packed, and most of the women some in shape and some not wear lululemon, especially the luxtreme crops. This will be a popular spin line, the black swan and popcycle are very big in the city now.
@ anon 9:31 am - I swear I saw some new Groove crops hanging up at my store last week. However, they could have been older ones they'd moved out of the cubbys to make room for new crops styles. If I go to the store I'll have to take a look. I would think they're coming. They are a core style.
@ anon 9:14 am - It's tough to tell. The Hustle is popular but lulu likes to change up their run jackets quite a bit. You might have to wait another year. Have you checked eBay? I know that's a style that you get gouged on, though.
I was told by a reliable source a few months ago that Groove Crops are being discontinued.

I went to the store today and bought the Spinnerette shorts in black. The shop also had them in a sort of dark green/dark blue horizontal stripe (stripes about 1.5" wide) but I didn't try those.
I did try on the Spincity shirt, but didn't realize that the arms/shoulders are the same stretchy/tight material as a pair of running crops. Kind of a bummer, as the cut of the top was cute on me, but I just don't like the tight sleeves.
Couldn't resist and bought the Turbo Run Shorts in the Milky Way pattern - totally up my alley! Supercute.
I'm a Spin instructor and I wear Lulu my whole wardrobe is full of Lulu.. Another instructor I know that teaches @ my gym wears Lulu as well. Tata tamer is great, inspires, some running tops, CRBs etc etc that's the thing about lulu it can be worn for most sports!

LLA, Also huge fan of the Knock Out shorts! Please come back! (in colors!) But I have to disagree about the boot cut Grooves! Huge fan! In fact that is what started me buying Astros. If the quality of the products hadn't changed this past year I might have purchased a new pair, but right now I'm lovin' my "vintage" grooves!
I haven't bought anything online in what seems like forever. Instead I go to my local stores to try on, if I miss something I miss it, saving money for the next thing! Besides I get an R & D discount ("Research and Development" discount for Instructors, teachers and Trainers, btw for the person that asked. It's 15%)
Today I returned the Pigment crops because I accidentally picked up the wrong size, but none left in my size so I moved on and bought the Black Swan DSpants. I happen to love the lined DSP's, and BS!
I also bought the BS CRB and CP. Not sure if I need more CRB's, and if I don't pull the tags off in the next week I'll exchange them for something else, even though I love my Light Tang from a few years back, $100 may be better spent on something else.
I saw most of the Spin clothing and I have to say that #1 since I don't go to Spin anymore I really don't want to wear "Spin" clothing elsewhere, and #2 I wasn't impressed with it enough, either the fabric or design to wear "spin clothing" outside of that particular training. The high cut tank reminded me of that one tank LLL had a few years ago that came in Snorkel and Tango (?) with the black piping around the top and bottom bust line that went on markdown. I really liked the striped AL shorts, but I don't wear shorts to the gym, so.....
Anyway, not everything can be everybody's cup of tea! But the more I look for alternatives to LLL the more I appreciate the good qualities the clothing and the company does have. Take the good, and leave the not so good!
I got the Alberta Lake WU - I'm a sucker for anything herringbone - and the Scuba in the glen check. I'm on the line on the jacket - it could work or be a dud - I need to see in person.
Recently bought the My Mantra in black and tea lounge in charcoal - I'm loving both. As a side note, I tried on the studio pants in black swan - the color is great but the lining makes the pants look bulky. I'm a size 4 and I felt like the Michelin Man...
