Heart Opener Tank and More

From Australia - more photos of the Vitasea Heart Opener Tank in Tender Violet.

No wonder the Bundle Up looks so bulky in some photos and not in others. The hood is a giant piece that also goes all the way down the front of the jacket.

The All Sport bra is hitting US stores. I still haven't seen notice of the Spinerette bra in my local stores yet.

The Alberta Lake and Creamsicle Pop Swiflty LS. The Alberta Lake looks darker than I thought it would. I need to check this out at the store.

The puppy is wicked cute in these photos but the Run With Rover Pants are just awful. I don't think I've seen a photo where these look cute yet.

I think these are the Alberta Lake Run For Your Life Crops. I'm dying to see them matched with coordinating tops.

there is a lot of milky way in wwtm tonight.

LuluAddict said...

Did that stuff just get added? I thought Thursday was the WMTM night. I don't recall it, though.

I ordered the alberta lake RFYL crops and can't wait for them after trying on the orange and black ones - very comfortable and nicely snug around the middle, with good compression. In fact, I think I might have to snag the orange and black ones! Looking forward to the black/tender violet runder under tights!

Thursday morning is the WMTM upload. Not at all into any of the ugly stuff that was markdowned, and that includes that odd Ride On waterproof anorak.

On a different note, I did order the Run For Your Life crops in Alberta Lake with the matching Swiftly. Eagerly awaiting.

Did the Ride On Anorak go straight to WMTM? Or maybe I missed it online? No store near me. Anyway, does anyone have any reviews of it? I'm interested but hesitant to purchase as there are no reviews online.

That run with rover pants need some serious intervention. The model looks sick from behind. Definitely not the look I'm after.

For those of you ladies who bought the Alberta Lake RFYL crop, what do you plan to wear for your top?

I could see anything in Split Pea looking nice with it, or the new Power Y in Half Micro/Macro Stripe Polar Cream.

Your comments are appreciated!

TIA!

P.S.: I am happy to see that the Alberta Lake RFYL is a solid colour. The one on the LLL website shows a panel in black behind the knee.

Do the Milky Way WUs and WUCs have the triangle gusset? Thinking about getting them if they have the oval...

Finally got the Bright at Night pants that I've been wanting, although I had to get the plain black since the flare waistband was sold out in my size.
There IS a lot of milky way in the upload, wow. Guess it wasn't that popular of a pattern.

I had to LOL that the lumpy-front Wholehearted tank is on WMTM already.

Again -- they messed with an item that was pretty perfect the way it was -- the dogruner from last year was very popular and looked cute -- why oh why do they mess everything up!!!!

I got a product notice that my store is getting a NLT in tender violet/black! Heading to the store to check that out this afternoon. Getting my spinertte bra in mail today too and will report back on fit.

Bundle Up Jacket, I will be checking it out and plan on buying it, but I will not be paying the $198, I will wait. They can't win on the hood design...in the past people have criticized them for making a hood that isn't ample enough or that doesn't stays up, and when they do (the BU jacket seems to be a good try), some people are still not happy.

Rover Pants, problem with these is the baggy front (but, pockets galore so there you go). I don't want them but I have friends with dogs who might like these. They want to throw on something that has ease and durability, which hopefully LL has addressed. They seem to be cuter than said friends' 'grubby sweats' that they'll put on, esp. first thing in the morning.

It looks like the milky way was sucked into a black hole and spewed out all over the WMTM section. No interest in tese pieces at all.

I saw the AL swiftlys last night. I really wanted one, but upon seeing them, the colour's not really that special, IMO. Kind of dark and looks a lot like the "black" ones with a hint of green. I passed.

The First Base tank is beautiful though! I got the dark striped one, and am wearing it to work with a cardigan. Perfect. So soft and so flattering I may never take it off :)

The Run with Rover pants are just as ugly in person. Very comfortable, and although I am only 5 feet, I liked the extra length in the tights part and the legs, and wouldn't get these hemmed if I wore them, but all the extra material in the crotch and butt area along with the pleats, makes it look like you're wearing a full diaper. Which is too bad, I desperately would love a pair of pants for ... walking my dogs, LOL!! Gets cold here in Alberta and would be nice to have a two-in-one pair of practical pants. But these were so bad, I wouldn't even pay half of markdown for them. Not even if they were free. Yuck.

The AL gather & grows are beautiful. Very soft, nice and thick but not too thick (so no sheerness) and NO CT. I believe the other pair I have is the concord grape reversable ones, and those are my favorite crops ever. So soft! These are a very very close second.

Haven't been posting much as I got a new phone and have had some trouble posting from it, but lately I've gotten the sweater knit black swan WU pants, cute but not as cute as the Alberta lake herringbone wu pants. Also got the tender violet wu crops... Love! New bangbuster, less width...love! Black swan crb, going back, just not sold on the color. Gust buster jacket, needed a jacket on a trip, and this fit the bill perfectly. But biggest score of late has been a one for om leotard on markdown! Love that thing! It's like a scuba suit! So fun as a layering piece.

Do we know if the heart opener tank is a racerback style or normal straps in the back?

Finally I see something I like! I'd take the puppy home in a heartbeat <3 What a sweetheart.

I really wanted the Creamsicle Pop Swiftly LS, but when I went to try it on yesterday you could see my nude bra through it. So sad.

i kinda like those walk your doggie pants. sometimes I like baggy comfy pants. especially when I am in the weight room with a bunch of dudes and don't want to show too much

The fourth pic of the Bundle Up jacket, the one showing the black jacket from the side, the jacket shows up as all black in the pic (no alberta lake color block). Is there an all-black version of the run: bundle jacket?

i tried the Run with Rover pants on last night in AL. They are actually amazingly comfortable. I'm either a 6 or an 8 in LL pants (LOTS of junk, big thighs) and the 6 was much better in these. It did take a bit of fiddling to get the pants in the right spot so the under-tights and the over pants lined up. They were still not so good across the front because of my thighs, but the back looked great.

That being said, I'm not sure I would trust the fabric with a dog. It seemed like it would rip easily.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 10:38 pm - they're probably comfortable but they look like old man no-butt pants on people. They're just not flattering. I think they'll hit WMTM fairly soon.

Has anyone tried on the Free To Be Tank yet?

If so: how does it fit?

Anonymous said...

that's too bad about the run with rover pants. I bought the dog runner pants last winter and loved them! super flattering and comfortable and warm with the Rulu liner. I was looking forward to getting another pair/color this season but that baggy crotch look ... ugh. not even if they were 75% off in wmtm - just not flattering!

With regards to the WMTM upload, I see that the Run: Make A Break jacket is on there... I've been eying up the Caspian blue twisted stripe one since it came out. I'm thinking of going for it, but I'm afraid it'll be too tight. Does anyone happen to know if it fits TTS? (I'm an 8 in the Scubas, but could go with the 10, and I went with an 8 in the BTC after returning the 10 I originally ordered)

Those Rover pants are hideous! It looks like pants worn by someone who went through a serious weight loss!! I wouldn't wear them even if it was given for free!

Bhahhahahha LLA, I agree! FUG-LY! LMAO....
Disp. income girl

P.S Notice....Lulu never addressed any FB questions about the design change of their newest hoodies? Ie: Length & side panels, thinner materials being used, ect. I wonder when they'll get tired of giving people the "run around" and telling everyone..."they will get back to them on the answer to that question" it's been 3 days already! ugh..... maybe they don't have an answer for us, because their almighty "design team" got arrested,
for creating such awful designs! (as of late) LOL...

i am one that wished the rover pants looked good, i love the concept. would save me layering...my dogs wont care if i look ridiculous, they only care about being walked!

i personally liked the milky way print, i wanted to rock it with a black top but the 105 degree crops in this print were see through. i also didn't buy that it was a sizing issue despite the reviews as when i put my HAND in them, i could see it clearly and read the rip tag. do not see how that is a sizing issue myself but whatever. let the debate on sizing continue, they were see through imo.

i seem to like all the items everyone else hates!

OT - for everyone lusting after a TV scuba but hating the new design...it may be worth looking at the Zella "Galaxy" Fleece jacket. The purple color is nearly identical to TV, it's still fitted, HAS ribbed side panels, and at $52..is less than half the price!

in other (but related news), i just got my zella "live in" leggings in the space dye. LOVE. they're not quite as soft as luon, but not scratchy. they're 87% polyester, 13% spandex, so they definitely feel more polyester-y since there's no nylon content...but they feel AMAZING on, not plastic-y. i would say the feeling of the fabric falls right in between luon and luxtreme...they feel satiny smmoth and like they'd wick well like luxtreme, while offering the coverage and smoothing of luon. they have nice compression, are lightweight without feeling thin and cheap, not sheer and no camel toe! plus, they were $58 and if they don't hold up quality wise, i can always return them (nordstrom <3). oh, and the rise is just a smidge higher than WU (so no MT), while not being as high as wunder grooves. all in all, i'm in love, and i'm ordering more! sorry lulu :P

@ anon 11:29 AM - don't worry, everyone likes different things! I am the one who looooves the runder under alberta lake/raspberry glo light shinguards, which everyone else has a good hate-on for lol!

still debating on keeping my black swan CRB. I wear nearly everything with black bottoms, so why would I want a navy-ish top? I am undecided yet though. Love the tv CRB, which I finally got today. Can't wait to wear that one! It looks almost identical to a dewberry one from last year though. The purple is more vibrant, and overall, I like it better, but awfully similar to dewberry that I found myself competely sick of.

HPSauce:I too have been eyeing the Make A Break Jacket. I tried it on in store the other day in the Caspian stripe actually. I am pretty consistently a size 6 across the board in lulu and I found this jacket to be very true to size if not just a touch big. It actually fit me exactly how it fits the model (which I've read is also a size 6). It won't be an overly warm jacket but as long as that's okay with you then I think you'll like it. It was very flattering on. I really want the Currant so I'm hoping that makes it's way over to WMTM soon as well.

Got my right round AL tank today. Wasn't sure if I would like the high neck, but I love it! It is a unique, pretty top and I really like the color. I also received the CP top speed tank. It is so flattering and extremely comfortable. LLL really did a great job on these tanks. They hang very nicely, not clingy or baggy. I am impressed with the spin collection they created. The colors are really pretty this month, too. Much better in person than on my computer!

What's with the bras lately making it look like everyone has back fat????

@Focus, I'm with you, I love my Om leotard! If you never try stuff on you can't judge! And certainly you can't judge for some one else! One other item that I would have passed on was the quiet stripe WUC! Now I hear they are re-selling for more than double! More people should have tried them on when they first came out!

If you learn one thing from reading this blog, it's that you need to try everything on! (if you can!)

HPSauce said...

:( I debated too long. About N hour after I posted on here, my size 8s were gone!! I should have jumped on it anyway... Can always try and sell it after! :( super disappointed I didn't pull the trigger... I live the color and look of it! An I was specifically waiting to see if it would show up on WMTM.

HP sauce - I think they are back! I see them in stock online! :)

@ w 9:53 AM, yes there is an all black version of the Bundle Up Jacket. I tried it on in store. Loved it, nicely fitted on me, but will wait to buy it.

I scored the Run Make a Break Jacket in black from wmtm. Happy I waited (and waited!) for the price drop.
