Can anyone comment on the sheerness of the True Bliss Pant?

I tried on the True Bliss pants in Black Swan today and they are SOOOOOOOOOO crazy see through. You could count every single polka dot on my panties. :/ Too bad, because they were comfy!

Haha I love the one where the woman has her legs through the second set of armholes on the Intuition Wrap. Yess... it's silly :)

Oh no she didn't! She did not put her legs through those arm openings! As if the seal on the deal wasn't already there with the ridiculousness of that sweater, that move just put the nail in the coffin!

So glad I don't want to own any of this stuff!

and I'm not trying to be negative....getting over my "addiction" is a positive thing! I couldn't be happier! But I will still show some love for the good stuff, I am a girl after all!

When I look at the Macro Micro Wunder Under, the only thing that comes to mind is "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!"

@ anon 5:15 - As soon as I saw that photo I knew I had to post it.

OT: anyone else find the new slim groove pants scratchier and the seam on the back of the leg extremely uncomfortable against your skin? I took them home and also compared the material to an old pair of astro pants and the material is alot thinner and not as soft... (Groove pants and astros are made out of the same material correct?)
Anyhow, I sent them off for hemming right after i tried them on at the store and now idk if i can return hemmed pants (with the tags on and receipts)?

Look at the freakin' Lulu hipster!

OT - Can anyone let me know if the original deigned Scuba Hoodie Shrinks (when washed) or stretches out (after ear)?

I ask since I am thinking of buying the Flare version... and cannot decide between the size 4, which is sightly snug... and the size 6, which is too loose.

TIA!

Definitely size up on the bliss unless you plan to have a long top that covers your rear. I tried a pair today and they are very sheer. Very comfortable, but very sheer.

I stuck TTS on this pair because I wear long tops with pants like that and even bending over I'm okay with being covered by the top, but if your butt's going to show, it's, well...going to SHOW.

P.S. OTOH, I sized up today in the WU organics I ordered on the Monday upload. They are also sheer. This was the Heathered black. My store didn't have Alberta Lake crops in, but I suspect they are the same and I'll be returning or exchanging them for upsizing too, when they arrive.

Adding, not that I look for these things specifically or anything, but in your photos of the True Bliss Pant and the Sweater Knit Print Wunder Unders there looks like Camel Toe a go go.

@ 6:41 - I agree the newer material is not as soft as older material. My new Black Swan Gather and Crows are definitely not soft as my older stuff. I'm hoping they soften a little with washing. I think lulu definitely goes through batches of different kinds of luon and this is a scratchy phase for some styles/colors. I know I wasn't buying Grooves for a couple of years because I thought the material was super thin and scratchy but finally bought some last year. I haven't bought a pair of Astro pants yet because I find the material to those thin and scratchy. I think you are stuck with the pants if you've hemmed them but am not sure. Maybe they will let you return.

Man, that Clutch Coat is one frumpy looking garment (is it a coat or a wrap? I don't get it...). And the Intuition Wrap is just ridiculous...arm holes aside, why would you want to use the sleeves as a belt? It just looks crazy!

So patiently waiting for just some simply cute outfits like Lululemon used to make. I really am ok with paying $100 for a stylish coat, that is just a coat...it doesn't have to be a pillow, a pair of shorts, AND a jacket all-in-one...it can be JUST a jacket :)

Just don't tell them the pants have been hemmed. They've barely even glanced at things that I've returned, and they probably wouldn't even notice that they've been hemmed. Better to try and it and have it all work out than to be stuck with pants that you don't want.

Did the Macro Micro Devotion LS go online (in the US) and sell out already? Or is it just in stores and not online yet. Sometimes I am not sure if I missed something online or not!

Like the Alberta Lake WUC - if there wasn't size 10 left, I would not have known they were even online since they sold out (or rather down to one size) overnight the first night.

That heart opener tank is really cute but not worth the $50 imo. I love alberta lake but those studio pants with black accents look like scrubs or something. The toque thing looks like a bathrobe. Sweater knit WU loo SUPER sheer even in these pics... they look like tights to be worn under a skirt or something. The wrap is cute when tied in a long vest but not worth the price (like everything else). I want a herringbone define! I JUST missed out on a ghost herringbone in my size for $80 today :( The facebook comments are getting crazy... people are not happy. Lululemon would save money if they would stop with the crazy pants and jackets and put out more classics or technical pieces.

@ anon 7:01 - lulu hipster - the girl with the sit and be still pant and the heart opener tank, right? That's what I thought when I saw this photo. I think this look resonates more with the designers than actual customers.

The price of the tanks are going up so fast. First it was $48, then $52, then $58 and now $64. Look at the Tanks section on LL website and see the increase.. All within a few uploads. I love my old LL. it's thicker, cuter and softer. I will be holding on to my vintage LL items until the quality comes back. Purchased very few items lately. Especially with the higher prices of everything.

I think it depends on how you like it to fit.
I like a more tailored fit and the stretchy panels on the side help it fit comfy (stretchy) if its snug at first. I was going to size up to a 6 but it was huge and not cute on me.

I like the look of those macro micro wu's.

Clutch Coat - Is it a coat or wrap? Lulu designers, just rename this awful thing a crap (coat + wrap) and be done with it.

Anonymous said...

@LLA 10:02 - yes, that's the one. It's a cute and casual, but that trendy hipster look can be achieved for a fraction of the LLL cost at Goodwill and Forever 21.

I wish LLL would return to their roots and release body flattering, functional, stylish, high quality yoga/workout clothes.

I also got the organic WU heathered black. they are so comfy but they are very very sheer..... sad to have to return :/ Are all the long WU pants sheer like this right now?

I absolutely LOVE the true bliss pant, wear them all the time, and haven't had any concerns with sheerness...just don't wear polka dot underwear!! I wear grey thongs with mine and they aren't see through at all. And they are incredibly comfy! I just went on the Canada website to buy them in all the other colours and they aren't there :(

The peace of mind legwarmers are way to baggy. They fall right down. Wish they were tighter as they are super cute.
