Bordeaux CRB runs smaller or bigger? Your comment has both right next to each other. Just wondering...thanks for your page!
IMO, Bordeaux Drama and Pretty Pink CRBs both run small. Not shorter, but tighter.
I do not get those low rider pants! Everyone who wears them look like they have some junk down there. Ugh!
I had to size up in both
I like the Pink & BD together, but other than that, none of the new pictures are doing anything to make me want most of the new releases, which is good for my wallet! For now, I'm stalking WMTM!!
Agreed, just got my racerback in bordeaux stripe, tiiiiiight
My XL Cashew Tonka CRB is definitely tighter... so I'm thinkin they run small in this print :)Has anyone tried on the BD Wunder Under Crops yet? Opinions on quality... sheerness etc?
For those of you who were wondering what the code EGTB/TEVI on the new purple Speed Shorts stands for:Eighth Gingham Tender Violet Black/Tender Violet
I thought my BD CRB was normal sizing... Just picked up at my local store!! FYI-noticed the new bang busters in Currant and Bordeaux, so cute.. Hopefully it makes it online for all the online shoppers!
Eigth Gingham Tender Violet?? Man, that is the weirdest color code i've heard in a while! I liked the eggplant guesses better lol!
thanks ladies. I did just receive the TONKA strip in my normal size 8 and it does fit tighter. Darn...should have sized up in BD! Have not received yet.
Anyone have a color comparison to the Summer-released Blush/Quartz Wee Stripe Define jacket and the new Pretty Pink Define jacket? I have worn my blush quartz for a few months but always wished it were slightly pinker...thanks!! Also Pink Mist and Heathered Pig Pink
me too...got the same size 6 crb in bordeaux that I always get, it was fine. looks very cute with black and grey!
bordeaux drama reallys irks me...i *want* to like it so badly, the love for it is infectious! but i just really DON'T. in some pictures in the sunlight it looks really pretty...but in person..ugh, gross! there's too much brown in it and i think it just looks flat in person. i wish there was a bit more red/purple to it....to be a true maroon. it would have some more depth and dimensionality, and i would really like it. but in real life i think it looks like someone dropped their glass of bordeaux in the mud because they were too drunk...what drama!
Got my flare/tonka stripe speed shorts today. I ordered at 11:15pm (at the upload) and they were waiting for me when I got home from work today. That's definitely the fastest I've ever received anything! I'm between a 4 and 6 and went with the 6 because I hate any type of muffin top whatsoever in shorts because I work out (at home) in just shorts and a sports bra. The 6 fits nicely in the waist, but feels baggy in the legs and sit high on my hips. 5 foot (petite) for reference. I should have gone with the 4.... However, I'm not that disappointed to be sending them back because they are NOT 4 way stretch. The feel stiff. What a bummer! Any idea if the purple gingham check whatever speeds are 4 way??
I'm with you sophia... I really want to like it but I seem to see a lot of brown! I too would have fallen hard for BD if it had more purple or red.. maybe next autumn.
Sophia, that's exactly how I feel about it. I want to love it. I do. I like the color bordeaux/wine/maroon in general. I bought the tonka striped BD CRB, brought it home and tried to like it on myself. But I just don't. It's too brownish, or something. I don't know. It's going back.
Could anyone give advice on the Dance Studio Pant sizing? Do these loosen up because of the extra stretchy material at the waist? Should I buy a regular size 4 or a size 2? I wear a size 4 in every LLL bottom, many different crops, WU, Groove, speed shorts. The closest I have to the DSP is the Quick Step pant. I have both a size 2 and a size 4. 2 is not too tight but I probably prefer my 4's. I haven't tried on any DSP as I think they're too baggy and know for sure I'll have to have hemmed...but I think I now do want the Bordeaux Drama ones, and they are in stores in my city. Thanks in advance! On CRB sizing...don't know about the colors mentioned, but when I bought the Pigment CRB in my normal size 2 (it is not tight on me ever, just fitted and gets looser when sweaty), I thought that the sizing might be off and too tight and maybe I should have bought a 4. The 2 actually turned out to be fine with a real wash and wear. On other tanks, I'm boring. I'm a CRB girl with soft Y bra. I don't like built in support in anything anymore. I bought one Deep Breath V tank which I did ike, but the body bags out and it annoys me. I tried on the Some Like It Hot tank, which is really pretty, but the built in was bothersome and I'm a very light support bust.
I agree! Eigth Ginham Tender Violet is a strange color code!!! And I thought Wee Are From Space was funny.
@anon 6:49. I always buy studio pants in a 4, and the BD IMO fit like my others-not too roomy, but not too baggy if that makes sense.
Sophia, you nailed it. That's exactly how I feel about this BDrama color. A while ago, when it first cam our, I pointed it looked muddy. To better describe it, it would be the result of dragging a true reddish, rich burgundy piece of fabric on mud, and let it dry without washing.I keep washing the only one piece I ever bought on BD (online of course. Had I seen it in person, would have not purchased it) in the hope of getting the "mud" out of it. Lol
My reaction to seeing the Scoop Me Up in Bordeaux Drama was that heathering the color was not a good idea. That mad the tank just look sort of murky, and the color looked like, well, a bit like dried blood. It's prettier in the non-heathered version, but it's just too brown for my personal taste.
I am a huge fan of the Scoop Me Up tanks, and I really disliked the BD color when I saw it in the upload. However, I went to the store today and tried it on anyways, and I actually think it looks a lot better in person! I actually ended up purchasing it.
