Currant Inspires and Nothing But Run Jacket in Power Purple. This jacket was sold at the Sea Wheeze in special edition colors. I kick myself for not getting one when I had the chance. I saw lots of ladies running the race in Currant Inspires.

Pedal Power Anorak. This isn't nearly as fug as the Pedal Power Blazer or Jacket.

Some new stuff on WMTM! Some interesting stuff: Run For Your Money Tank, Run Nothing To Hide Crop & Good Fortune Bag.
Presence of Mind Jacket should have been named Lost Our Mind Jacket. Unappealing to say it nicely.
If anyone else is in the same boat, the Run Nothing to Hide Crop's extra tall, stretchy waistband is PERFECT for a growing baby belly. Just barely missed out on the Good Fortune Bag :(. Oh well, like I need another bag...
I.reallly want the milky way wu but.I. hope they release then in the crops... I refuse to buy pants because they are way too long and I hate waiting foe them to get hemmed...
The close up on the Milky Way WUs kind of makes it look like she just went on a mud run.
Need to try the tea lounge crops, though.
whenever i see those tea lounge pants....the front just seems to not sit well...
Has anyone seen the tea lounge crops in person? The denim fabric looks like it wouldn't be soft. Too bad they're not just the shorter version of the pants, I like the plain texture better.
I was hoping the Milky Way WU were more black and blue than white. Maybe I won't purchase them, as mostly white WU are not flattering on me. An in-store try on is the best bet... hopefully they aren't white across the back!
I saw the tea lounge crops yesterday. While the material is not as soft it is beautiful. I love them. And the inside is the same so still comfy. I may be the only one, but I sized up in the pants .
That Pedal Power LS is dreamy. I didn't want to take it off! Sadly no room in the budget for it... this week. ;)
The crops were comfy, but did sit weird at the front and gave the appearance of CT even tho they were loose in front. Pass.
I hate instagram so much. These pictures show why!
The new daily tank colors are so boring, and the milky way WU aren't appealing to me at all. Yawn. Can we please get some WU or WUC in that deepest cranberry slub (the color of the verve pants) "cries out to the LLL gods*
See, I think the Anorak is just way too big and unflattering on everyone I've seen it on, but I'm very intrigued by the Pedal Power Jacket and Blazer...leaning more towards getting the jacket due to cost and the fact that I'm unsure about the tie on the blazer.
And I don't like or "get" instagram either :P
I picked up a pair of Nothing To Hides. I'd been waiting on the Good Fortune to to WMTM so I could get another one & I missed it! Darn it! Oh well, shouldn't spend that extra $$ this week anyway!!
Check out the Costco define jacket on its super cute!

I got the Tea Lounge Crops yesterday and they are so flattering! I was worried that the leg would be too slim for me, but it's exactly what I was looking for. I'm usually a DSP gal, as I have hips and thighs, but they were perfect. Now, if only this weather would cool off a bit so I could wear them. LOL
I saw the Tea lounge crops and did not really want it since I'm short. They are comfortable.
The more I talk to the gec's at my store, the more I feel like getting the good fortune bag. I am just not the type that would carry something as hip as this. I am the leather and vintage purse kind of girl so it'll take a lot of getting used to for me. I still don't own one btw but the red is really tempting.
I tried on the fast and free crops in the split pea and embossed black. It was shiny even though I sized up already. This is just my personal preference that I don't like wearing anything that shines or has a sheen to it. I feel like it draws attention to the thunder thighs. Mid rise on me.
I got my hot but not tank (black) from wmtm today. I like it a lot. The dotted bra is cute. I ordered my reg 4 so it should be ok for Zumba.
The new daily tanks are comfortable and ever so soft but I don't own any since they are long and low cut on me.
I started my first run today and did a 5 min/ 1 min run/walk. I did 1 1/2 miles in 20 minutes. Bleh... Not impressed. I will keep working hard. It is 103 deg here so it was hard to run. Anybody have any opinion on the Garmin watches? I run out in the ranch and I want to know the exact distances instead of my husband's eyeballing.
BTW, I bought an Aspaeris compression shorts a while back for running. I wore it today. Aside from it looking hideous aka sausage thighs and shiny on me, it actually felt good esp towards the end of my run. I think I'm good with my Lulu stuff though. I will try my speed squad shorts next time. I wore my sun sprinter shirt (the one with short sleeves and cut out armpits-- on wmtm right now) and it was great since it is so hot and my shoulders did not feel a thing. I might get the other colors because of this.
This is my first year with Lulu. Despite some of the bleeding and seam issues, I am overally thrilled with the spring/summer clothing I've purchased and worn for running and yoga -- CRBs, swiftlys, luxtreme running crops and bras. They make me happy to put on, and working out is a little more fun.
What about cold weather wear? Will I be as satisfied? What are some of your favorite cold-weather outdoor active lulu items? Running, hiking, etc....thanks!
Yogibabe, could you please share a comparison pic of your two Scoop Me Up tanks in Ray and Split Pea Tonka? Or at least, share your opinion on how similar the two colours are? Thank you.
PinkPeony- I love my Garmin 305. It's the bulky, square, red-orange/silver one. Very easy to use and the buttons are straightforward. I got my husband the 405 (or 410?) with the round touch screen and while it looks nicer and not as bulky, it's much tougher to use and not as intuitive.
Check prices on Amazon. I got mine same time last year for $139 new. Having a Garmin has really changed my running strategy. It's pretty essential if you're training for anything.
Hi pink peony, I did have a garmin but stopped using it in favor of the map my run app on my phone. It's amazing and tracks everything over a Google map - includes speed, distance, elevation, everything I need. the run apps you can use on most iphone or Androids. both run keeper and map my run are very good and have free versions. Nice to see the exact distances and getting further! I also like the security if having my phone on me rather than one extra device.
I just started wearing LLL this spring, and I really want to see some saturated colors that aren't currant or purple. I LOVE both colors, but almost all of my solid LLL pieces are some shade of purple or red. (The bleeding of pow pink scared me away.) I don't understand why LLL released a portapotie scuba, but have yet to release more tops/tanks in that color or a print with that color. I'm going to have to look elsewhere for a little variety. When you wear LLL everyday for work, you need variety in your "uniform."
Pink Peony 4-yes, please run in your speed squad shorts next. I'd love an actual review based on performance rather than appearance. You actually turned me on to these when you mentioned the cost factor of groves and a running skirt. I had previously overlooked them.
And guess what guys?!? My Portapotie scuba came today...one day early...woohoo! And I love it just like you all said I would. I can't wait to to go "green lantern" on my studio! Then I'll go "elf"! Now if it would get a little cooler, otherwise I'm going to have to go "swamp thing" wearing a scuba in 90 degree weather:)
Opps! Sorry pink peony I thought you had the speed squat skirt.
FYI, in my opinion I think LLL adjusted the length of the strap on the Daily tank. I was so disappointed that I couldn't wear them since they first came out (blurred blosom I think), but I loved the cashew/black stripe so much just for the heck of it a tried it on again today....walked out with it and the currant. Try them on again, you might have the same experience.
Oh, and I'm love, love, lovin' the Run nothing to Hide crop, I bought three pairs, two yesterday, and one today. I wore one pair for my own workout this morning and another to teach in this afternoon...I may need yet another! (For $59 bucks!)
*squad
Did anyone buy the Boogie Shorts in Deepest Cranberry Slub? They look beautiful, but haven't ordered em yet.
Thanks!
@anon 12:24 PM
I've just received my Tonka stripe split pea Scoop Me Up. How to describe....it is not as pictured on the website at all. Not unless you are standing in bright sunlight. Only then the yellow is somewhat "more yellow". But in natural light, it is not yellow at all, especially not as bright yellow as the No Limit Tank! My husband pegged it as "the inside of an avocado". I say it is like mustard with a drop or two of green mixed in. I have sent a couple of pictures to LLA, comparing ray, split pea, heathered treefrog and wild lime. So, to answer your question of the comparison between ray and split pea: they are very different! No neon, when compared to ray. Split pea is more green than pictured (hence, the name makes more sense). A little dissapponting for me, as I was hoping for a much stronger yellow, as depicted online.
Thank you all for the Garmin and map my run tips. I will keep it in mind.
@yogibabe and 12:24,
yep, just opened my Split Pea SMU...disappointed it's not near as yellow as I was hoping, happy to take it back. These days I am only keeping things I love. I took it right over to my Ray and as YB describes the biggest difference is the neon element. split pea is definitely a pea green/yellow.
Why can't we get some true shades of yellow and green, like Currant is to red, and Dazzle was to orange, like crayola crayons! So glad I don't have to worry about getting more pieces to match. none of this color for me...and I like yellow and green! I'm just over these pukey shades.
On a positive, loving the Milky Way, and the possibilities of some brown/cashew/cranberry.
Those grey pants look really comfy! Just stumbled upon your blog, I'm a big fan of lulu myself! Great posts :)
i am in love with the milky way WU. i hope it wont be too sheer!
Anyone else get their angel blue speed shorts in today? They seem REALLY thin and fragile compared to my pow pink elevation stripe pair. Is this because they are 4-way stretch...? couldn't find that information on the tag. They are sadly going back to the store :(
Ok, so I hope that I don't bum-out everyone loving the Milky Way WUs, but... They look like the worst of the 80's acid wash jeans to me. Does anyone remember those? They sort of looked like your mom spilled bleach on your jeans: splotchy white and blue. I don't know, maybe it's just me? I can totally see a hair band lead singer wearing these with leather vest for a shirt and a bandana tied around his stringy hair.
Hey Anon @ 6:08 pm - My Angel Blue speed shorts arrived today. I too found them to really thin and fragile and plan to return them asap. For reference, they are definitely 4-way stretch. And don't get me wrong, lulu can do "good" 4-way stretch, but these are not that at all. Bummed to the max with this purchase:/.
Finally tried on the new 'running with my homie' crops - HOLY CRAP ARE THEY SHEAR. I even went up a size, then up two - still shear. So very, very disappointing!
OT I tried on the red inspires at my store but decided to purchase WU instead. Now I'm regretting not getting them since I actually loved the fit I had no issues. Does any one know if the fit is the same ad the indigo inspires that they have on line now? I really need a pair of running crops. I also picked up my first ever crb n I'm in love!!
@12:10 - my fave cold weather running top is the LS swiftly by far!! The lowest temp I've tested is ~45 degrees and was great for a 7 mile run once warmed up. For shorter distance or walking just throw on a Define. I also use a Nike tech earwarmer headband which I love.
Oh, and received my split pea SS swiftly today - LOVE! It's chartreuse and a very cool color for fall. Prob will grab the LS if it makes it online too :) Happy girl!!
@7:51 - I thought of acid wash too. I don't dislike the pattern that much though. It looks cute in the tops. I also love hair bands...there, I said it!
Should I get the dense purple Define or Power Purple Scuba? Purple is my FAVORITE color. I already have a black denim Define that I love very much. Which would I get more use out of? I live in San Diego and would wear jacket for casual wear and going to class.
@ Pink Peony: I second what 2:00 said about the Garmin 305 Forerunner. It is big/bulk but I love it. You can set it to the settings you want to display: distance, pace, time, heart rate, elevation etc. It has multiple things it can do. Also when you sync it up to your computer, it shows the map of/gps of where you have run. Garmin has made smaller versions but they don't appeal to me. There are lots of watches out there, so you can do some research and decide what's best for you.
Cheering you on with the running!
I'm still in Vancouver and have to head home Saturday :( My run this a.m. along the seawall up to Stanley Park was so amazing, so gorgeous, as it is everytime. I could only go for 40 minutes but it was so joyous. Back out there tomorrow at 6 a.m.!
I want to love the Milky Way print but do not. Agree with someone's comment on too much white...esp. on the WU pant. Easy pass for me.
Tea Lounge pant...uh, holy unattractive in the front as shown on the women wearing them in the pictures.
I have the Nike+ Sportswatch GPS. I haven't tried any others but I love it. It has everything I need and also happens to give encouraging comments at the end of my runs, and helps me set goals :)
http://nikeplus.nike.com/plus/products/sport_watch/
I received my Milky Way Extra Long CBR and it is going back! Too much shine and the poly count is not to my liking!!! IMO it looks cheap! But I love the print.
Anyone know when the Milky Way Wunder Unders, or Milky Way anythings for that matter, will be released or are they already out in the US? Hawaii seems to get everything last!
I love San Diego, I think you would get more year round use of the dense purple define. I am originally from CA but reside in WA, so my scuba has been great out here for cold and rainy days but I love the define for running on cool mornings.
@ Yogibabe & Anon 5:06 thank you for sharing your opinion on the colour comparison between Ray and Split Pea Scoop Me Ups. I had ordered the NLT, SS Swiftly and SMU in Split Pea but since I am in Switzerland, it takes a while for my orders to arrive and I was getting impatience, wondering if they would be too close in shade to the Ray Swiftly and SMU I already have here. I like all variations of yellow so I'm happy to hear they are not similar! I'm now certain I'll keep them all. Thank you both!
@Swiss anon 7:42 AM
Please share your Split Pea color comparison for the NLT, SMU and SS Swiftly, when they finally arrive in the alps! :) I heard that the color varies with these items. Just some variations of Split Pea saga...
Will do Yogibabe.
Currant Define in Switzerland :-)
I thought it's Miz Currant Define! :) (You'll just have to use that moniker from now on!)
Lol, I think the milky way print looks like acid wash too. It's fun to look at, but I don't think I would buy it or wear it.
I got my order from last week. The speed squad tank is super cute. I'm between sizes 4 and 6 (usually get a 4 when there's not built in bra, or a 6 if there is one) and I ordered the 4. Its fits nicely and the cut is super cute. The only weird thing is that it somehow makes me look flat chested, which is no small feat as I'm a 34d. I want to love it, but not sure if I will keep it. I also don't have the iPod nano that fits the pocket, so the pocket is weird for me.
Got the inner heart bra in a size 8. It is definitely a size-up item. The 8 fits nicely and was comfortable to do my weight lifting and yoga in.
I just received the energy bra in pretty pink and angel blue. Both size 6 and fit amazing. I was planning on returning one, but after wearing one for my plyo workout lasr night, I think I'll keep both. Most comfortable sports bra ever! And had te right amount of support for jumping around. If I do keep both of these, I doubt I'll be reaching for my inner heart bra very often as the energy bras are so comfortable and soft!
I don't think those define costco jackets look exactly like the LLL they are similar, but it looks like they would get ratty quickly.
I have about a dozen Defines and just got two of the Costco jackets and I love them. They're beautifully made and the colors are gorgeous. So happy. I was feeling torn about whether to spring for the power purple Define, but the Costco purple has satisfied me. We'll see how they hold up. But I do have a Costco/Kirkland racerback (CRB) from last year and it's in great shape. And, frankly, some of the new Lulu Defines have been very poorly made. So....saved $75. I'm happy.
