Me too! Can't wait for it to get here!
I'm hoping for a Currant scoop me up tank.
I wish they would make new colors for the racing length... this are super LONG on me...
Does anyone think we will see currant studio pants, not just the crops?
Alright, I just ordered my currant CRB. Also need to share my experience with my currant energy bra: I didn't pre-wash it. I did workout and sweat in it and then washed it. It didn't bleed on my skin or my shirt. When I washed it the water seemed clear. I don't think my item is any special than any other people's currant bra. Maybe its the temperature? I live in MI and the summer is like 80 degrees those days.
@MelissaYes! A currant Scoop Me Up will make me a happy camper. :D I have the Scoop Neck tank in Tango Red (I think?) and used it a lot. Scoop Me Up is my go to, for now.
My only wish in LLL is to have a currant define!
@yogibabe--my order (which includes a caspian blue Scoop Me Up) comes Friday--I cannot WAIT. My nearest Lulu is 25 hrs away :(
Pass for me.....
@Melissa, the Caspian blue Scoop Me Up is beautiful! I'm sure you'll love yours. I'll be sad if I can't exchange mine at the store since the one I got in the mail has some sewing defects and they're sold out of my size online. I've got my fingers crossed. I have one in indigo and wear it all the time, even to work on one hot day.
Came home from picking up the Angel Blue Energy bra at the store and saw this. So...I had to order. Now it's time to stop. I've been beyond ridiculous with the lulu lately. I'm running up credit card bills that I can't pay off each month. It's time for some self control, and staying OFF the websites!
Just curious... does LLL often sneak in items after the Upload?
@sourkraut: that sucks. It's too bad.I got a currant CRB today. I went to work out today and wore my Speed Squad tank. OMG. I love this thing. I did intense cardio and no problems, it's airy and comfy. The only time I had to tuck it in my crop waist was during push ups since it tended to drape front wise and showed my belly. Way cute. I bought 3 of the colors except the white blazer thing but I am buying that soon. More compliments today with it than other Lulus I have. I paired it with my favorite Dhanurasana crops in static white and coal (guessing). The back scallop drape is super flattering especially if you don't mind showing a little back there. I'm really not into showing anything but this I'm ok with. Since I'm short (5'2") it hits me just below the hips and covers my potential dreaded CT. I bet it will be cute with groove shorts with the fancified waist quilts. Yum. Too bad I can't wear those due to thighs not toned enough.I also ordered the purple Gather and crow crop last night since my store did not get it. This is a little long for me but I'll have them hem it just right. I definitely bought more this week than my typical. I did not expect to like the tank but with the currant coming out, I got impulsive. To the real addicts: item count is 12. I might not keep the CRB. We'll see.@yogibabe: I think it's cute that your husband cheers you on buying certain things. My husband does not have a clue when I buy or what I buy. Although lately he has been saying "is that Lulu?" He knows that's all I wear anymore esp at home. He has became friends with the Fed Ex guy who at one time asked him "What is Lululemon?" It is too funny. It does not matter what I get in the mail my husband always refers to it as "more Lulu". Nobody ever knows what is going on at this ranch.
That's too funny, Pink Peony! My husband's the same way. He has no clue. Sure, he sees the boxes since he works from home so is there every time the FedEx truck pulls up, but he doesn't know or care how much all these little deliveries are costing us. I figure it's my reward for managing our finances so well. And for all of the cleaning, cooking, gardening, laundry, etc. that I do around the house. He was amused when I got two packages from Lulu yesterday and I explained to him that, to my credit, I'd resisted buying something that I liked when I woke up to the new upload and placed my initial order. But then I gave in just two hours later and placed a second order for the Caspian Scoop Me Up. Bad me!
Absolutely LOVE the currant color - just bought a power Y today. Has anyone seen the Lucky Luon headbands in currant in the stores?? They're sold out online! :(
Wasn't tempted by the initial scoop me up colors but decided to try the caspian. It feels so ridiculously soft I am now wishing I bought other colors.... Were the others like the ray and the pow as soft as this blue? I don't really NEED this, but it is staying anyway!
Thank you for always being on top of things :) Best blogger award!!
@Sourkraut August 1, 2012 1:12 PM:) What would it cost your husband to hire outsiders to do all the things you do to manage the household and finances, etc? A whole lot is the answer, so you've earned your lululemon in place of the paycheck that you've more than earned!!
Does this bleed like flash and paris pink?
OT - I'm so sad the USA side got new boogie shorts, with a super cute waistband and CAN side didn't. I've been waiting a long time to see black shorts with a patterned waistband.. When I woke up the morning of this week's upload, the currant power Y tanks were sold out in almost every size. Seriously do I have to set an alarm for the middle of the night? Wish I lived near a store because the website is frustrating sometimes.
I got my Currant CRB today.I put it in a bowl of hot water to soak. Guess what colour the water is?CLEAR!Wooooo!!My Flash and Pow Pink both bled like crazy the second I put them in water.
@Sourkraut--thanks!!! :) Can't wait to see it in person!
I went to one of my local stores today and the Currant CRB is not yet in. They expect it by the end of this week or sometime next week. That is fine. I need to see it in person. I saw the Virtuous Tank in Currant, the scuba, the Om bag, and other items and actually...I was not so impressed with the various versions of Currant that I saw. So even the CRB might be a pass for me if it looks the way the other stuff does. I'm sure I'm best of just waiting to buy the SeaWheeze special items.
Picked up the currant DSC, love, love (I hope pants come soon too), but still no Caspian SMU at my store...but I loved the Virtuous tank and bought the red and the black! (I'm washing the red one as I write this!)I was heading over to the currant power Y, but I don't like the thinner fabric and they are way long now. And then I remembered the Virtuous. I knew I liked the style but I'm a 34DD and instantly thought it would create one large uniboob. Surprisingly I think it minimized, and the best part, it shows NO cleavage! And since I'm an Instructor, leading classes, I'm always conscious to wear a higher cut tank or crewneck T. Oh, and I didn't experience any armpit fat.I didn't buy the purple because I know not very many people will give this tank a chance and I'll wait to get it on markdown.
OK, I took the bait. I love red. Bought the currant CRB- fingers crossed it's not a bleeder
@MelissaYes, the caspian blue Scoop Me Up is so pretty! You will love it. Has a very faint, subtle zigzag pattern around the neckline. :) I must confess that I have all the colors of Scoop Me Ups , other than the black. I practise yoga almost daily and have been with lulu almost exclusively for about 10 years. I have a few Prana, Hard Tail, Tonic, Be Present, Athleta, Nike and now, thanks to Minda, some Beyond Yoga. Regardless of how frustrating it's been lately with lulu's quality issues, I would still say that lulu is still my choice for my yogawear. I am just more selective and carefully inspect my purchases these days, but that's alright. Love the Scoop Me Up! More snazzy than my good ol standby: Power Y and CRB.@Anon 3:44 PMIn regards to colors that are as soft as the caspian blue in the Scoop Me Up. The heathered pop orange is another softie.@Pink Peony 4Yes, my husband is a sweetie! :) Whenever I'm stuck with choices or I have a doubt, I can always count on him to help me out. Even if that means waking him up from his sleep. We've been married for 27 years (yes ladies, I'm THAT old!), but it feels just like yesterday...(romantic music fading out...Heehee!) Anyhoo, the Virtuous tanks is scheduled to arrive tomorrow and I will give an honest and detailed review by Friday.
Btw - i returned 4 Flash items that bled like crazy, took it to my store in No. California(SJ store) and they gave me store credit for all 4 items! they are so Awesome!!! So i ended up getting the Pow Purple Define jacket and Tiffany Blue'ish Energy Bra.Thank you Lulu-SJ store! You guys rock!!
@Pink Peony- that's awesome about your 27 years! Congrats :) Btw, peonies are my favorite flower :)
Red is a color that often bleeds even in high end merchandise. I bought this year's Currant Energy Bra and it does NOT bleed at all. But, bleeding is a risk you take with any and all red clothing, whether it's LLL or Ralph Lauren or Walmart brand. Wash it before working out in it and always wash reds separately.
Congrats PinkPeony4, love hearing that you're still happily married after 27 years :) Obviously, he's a keeper ;)
@yogibabe--the order arrives tomorrow and I cannot WAIT! (I have a total of 5 items coming)
random comment, did anyone else notice the sparkle scuba heathered white got re-uploaded to the US store? I have it in heathered grey but i originally was lusting after the white. on the fence about getting it!
I also wear my scoop me up tank to work, as a matter of fact, I am wearing it right now (indigo) with a white skirt and a brown leather belt. I love it. I also got the caspian blue which is adorable and I can't wait to wear it this weekend.
It is not PinkPeony the one married for 27 years, it's Yogibabe!!! Duuhh
