New run crop called the Track Time Pant (?). Not sure why they are called a pant when they are a crop but maybe the store mislabled it.
The Light As Air Tunic has hit the stores. I know you guys have been waiting for this one.

Got the Iconic wrap today ! It's made of Pima cotton and wonderful ! Will go with everything ! :)
Cute running crops! The back piping reminds me of the Tracker Crops from a couple years back. And oh goodness, the tunic. There's quite a bit of fabric to this piece, esp. for a running tank (or possibly dress depending on one's height). Even the girl in the second foto is skeptical.
Anon 6:18 is Pima cotton super stretchy around your arms? Not sure if I would need to size up from a 4 to 6...
Is that iconic wrap a new color or did I miss out on it already? Really wish I bought a black one when it was online but I don't remember this color!
Does the wrap have thumbholes this time around?! The black one (at least in my local store) did not have them. Awesome!
It might be the wee stripe that has been on the Canadian sight.

They had the iconic wrap in black only a couple of years ago in really soft material like the every yogi tee. I have one and like it a lot for yoga ( to and fro). One came out about 2 months ago in a different material. It's like the presence pullover material. Kind of like burnout, really thin. And did not sell well because of that. I like this color too so I might get this. Mine was short and since I'm only 5'2" it works.
Why not use a steamer? Hideous.....are the sales people too good to do it:(
I'm sure lululemon designers got some fantastic ideas for its next running caftan/burqa yesterday at the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. There was an African delegation wearing what in lulu-terms would be a Ray Running Caftan. You go lulu, anxiously waiting for it!
I'm beginning to lose hope waiting for black pace setter skirts in tall to be restocked. I wish LLL would keep core items in basic colors stocked. *sigh*
BTW everyone....noticed a fairly LARGE Upload online, on the Canada side...for the Gap!!!! lots of gorgeous stuff and some of the styles, actually look like some older lulu pieces for almost half the price! :) looks like...the Gap may be going after Lulu customers! the styles are beautiful...and I have snagged up a few pieces!
4:29 AM thanks for the tip. Gap is going after LLL customers. Someone reported here (and had a link to a news article) that they are opening Athleta stores right near LLL stores. I don't understand why we don't have Athleta in Canada (at least not in Ontario yet anyway). I do check out their Gap Fit wear though and have a couple things including a Define type jacket. I also noticed they are doing quite a bit of advertising for Gap Fit - even big posters, billboards.
@ 12:08 AM. I agree the clothes we see are always too wrinkly in the pics. I wonder if they don't steam though because they're worried they'll do something to the clothes...like start some bleeding!
@groovegirl
Yes, I too am curious/excited with that new Track Time pant (crop?). It does remind me of the Tracker, though from what I am able to see here, I am already leaning towards liking this new crop better that the Tracker, design-wise, anyway. My only "beef" with the Tracker is the piping across the bum! This Track Time's piping looks more flattering, defining the bum. We'll see! :)
Hello,
It's Anon. @ 6:18PM... Yes, there are thumbholes in the Iconic wrap. It'a made of Vitasea (with Pima Cotton). It's super soft !! I did need to size up because of wide shoulders and muscular arms. I bought both colors the black one and the black and white striped one as pictured in the last photo. I will be wearing these a lot. They are classic Lulu pieces that will not go out of style.
It's anon. @ 6:18PM again... yes, the material is super stretchy (6% Lycra Spandex).
I like the back of the Speed Squad tank and the Currant colour. I do not care for the looseness of the front...even though it draps at the front it could be made to be more fitted. I don't care for the neckline either.
Time Track crop/pant (maybe a pant version is coming too for Fall/Winter?)...I can pass. They don't grab me and I'm actually set for running crops. I imagine they've done some interesting things with other colours vs. the white that is shown.

I bought the Presta Packable Shirket on markdown at a local store. I am NOT a cyclist. I admired this garment when it came out, thought it was beautiful in the white (and it is), at that time didn't even look at the black. I tried on both black and white and they are both awesome. I had to stop myself from buying both! The black is so tailored and looks so great. There is no restriction whatsoever. The high neck with magnetic tab is great. Even though I do not cycle, I will totally wear this for running and it's easily something I'd wear casually. Pockets in back totally handy for running (but I wouldn't load them up too much). From the reviews on the site, most real cyclists were not happy with the Shirket, but I love it! This Shirket does what I wished the Run Essential ii jacket had done - tried that on when it came out but didn't buy. REii (loved the tailoring) was a fail for me due to the sleeve length, restrictive and too tight cuffs that were nearly impossible to push up to the wrists. Shirket is by far the better garment!
Agreed! Those new crops are cute. Even the accents around the rear! I could get even closer to buying them if they came in a plum/white colour scheme. Has anyone here bought any of the Gaps capri running tights? Just wondering how they compare in look and performance to LL.
I maybe the only one, but I like the speed squad tank, esp in currant. Very purdy. It seems to be a little more tailored that the other singlet/tanks lulu has come out w/ in the past few wks. I love the back of the tank.
I love my iconic wrap from a couple of years ago. It is slightly confusing the first time you put it on but worth the trouble. It is so classy. I will be buying this black and white one for sure. I get lots of compliments when I wear mine to lots of happy hours in the cooler months.
@Kristin. I agree with you. It is pretty. I will be trying it on since I am short just to be sure.
Pass on those Track time crops - the lines on her bum aren't really doing anything to flatter. Also, reminds me of a pair of Champion crops from Target circa 1981.
i have purchased many many athleta items and i am in canada...i do have to choose my list carefully as the duty can be unbelievably high. the dresses and bathing suits are perfection! love their clothes for travel to hot destinations.
i do watch the sales and the customer service is phenomenal.
@ 11:47 AM, pass on ordering Athleta on line. Not if I haven't tried it on, duty, shipping fees etc. I'm not interested THAT much. They may have no hassle return but I just can't be bothered with the whole rigmarole if it then has to be returned. It's the other reason I won't explore Kyra Grace...I think they sell some items at some studios or little stores in my city, but again, too out of my way. There is still something to be said for a retail store.
Does anyone know if there is a chance that the summery items i.e. skirts, dresses (covers it all in particular), and shorts will go on markdown since fall is approaching? Love you guys, thanks!!
Did anyone else order the new Portapotie Scuba and have problems with the seams? Mine have all sorts of extra threads on some of the seams and it looks awful--I'm super bummed!
Just received my caspian blue scuba and NLT today. Love the color! A true light blue with no green or purple to it. The NLT is noticeably softer than my others--silky, but not fragile. The scuba seems a little roomier than the past and a little bit longer. The quality seems good on both items and I am quite happy with these improvements.
I bought some cute crops from Athleta in the spring. Philadelphia has an Athletica store right across the street from LLL on Walnut Street. They had snaps on the legs and were made of organic cotton. They reminded me of LLL's Snap Me Up crops that I regretted not buying a year or so ago. Unfortunately, even though they fit perfectly when I bought them they have now become so baggy that I can't wear them out of the house!
Gina
Love the tunic, but the tank is not for me. Anything that hangs like that makes busty gals look heavier bc it disguises your waisteline.
Iconic wrap is perfection. I just got mine today. Can be dressed up or down - that's what I love most about it :-) Material is soft but feels durable. And love the fact that there's a quiet print with the striped one. Gorgeous!!! Now tempted to get a solid black
Just a word about the Caspian NLT that I'm guessing applies to the pow pink one as well. As mentioned above, the material is indeed softer. It does not seem more fragile, but it is definitely more stretchy. I'm a solid 6 in Lulu tanks with built in bras as well as the bras themselves. My other NLTs are perfectly fitting 6s. I could have easily gotten a 4 in Caspian blue because the material is so stretchy. Halfway through yoga, I realized this tank will be limited to yoga only use. Other NLTs work on the elliptical for me.
@ Gina 1:41pm: you can return your Athleta item to the store! From Athleta: "You can return or exchange any item that's in its original condition (unwashed and unworn) or defective, unless it was purchased for final sale, with the exception of Athleta styles which can be returned or exchanged at any time with no questions asked." I just returned a worn and washed Tinker Tank (seams on top were very itchy on the shoulders), no questions asked.
Does anyone else think the contrast inset on the back of the crops/pants make this model appear as if she is sporting a Lulu logo on her bottom?
And as for the tank, I'll try it. The singlet, worth a try on as well. But my favorite Singlet of all time was the online only running singlet that came in Flash as well as black, a few months back. I can't believe I can't remember the name:/ It had a high rounded neck, drawcord, and was a racerback...LOVE!
of course that's a ll logo pattern happening on those crops...they've done this before
The Ebb & Flow has a similar, albeit subtle, lulu logo on the bum! Love my E&F! :)
OK, I washed my new Black Iconic Wrap (Vitasea). It smells fishy ! Could all of you who bought it check the smell of yours ?? Just wondering if it's smelling like that because I put it outside to dry. But I don't think so... it should not smell fishy.... :( It's back in the wash right now.
not super excited about any of the new running tops coming out... i feel like the ones that came out in april (tame me tank!) were so cute and now they are just trying to get too creative but it is not working!!!
crops look cute!
Rebecca, I tried on the Caspian NLT in the same size as my concord grape one and thought it didn't have as much support. I did a little jumping up and down in the dressing room to be sure and things seemed to move a lot more than I was comfortable with. I actually run in mine, which is one of my favorite things about the tank, so was disappointed that they'd changed things up with the new version. I passed for that reason.
@Anon 6:05 AM -- I've been thinking the same thing. I bought one cute running tank in the spring but am now regretting not buying more. At the time they had at least three cute tanks in their run line so I assumed they always have styles like that out. Now I see they're going in a different direction. Oh well. I will cherish the one I have all the more.
FOCUS..are you talking about the Race Tech Tank. ?OMG..I love that tank. I bought it in Flash and regret not buying it in black.
Anon 2:00 pm. Ok just to be clear. The iconic wrap is not in the US yet, right? I want the striped one since I own the black and yes, they are lovely and perfect. I use mine a lot. I should not buy anymore stuff since I gravitate towards it all the time. Too bad they don't make it more often in more colors. It is a fun piece. Next to my get started jacket of course. It is still my fave. This wrap is a close second though.
