The Latest: New Run: Shorty Shorts, Run: For Your Money Tank, and More

The new Run: Shorty Shorts are hitting the stores (BTW, the older colors are on the markdown racks in my local stores). Lilac High Noon Dot (shown with the Pop Orange Swiftly - not loving this combo) and Flash Light.

The Run: For Your Money tank is hitting stores in Australia. Black and Lilac High Noon Dot.

New Speed Shorts in Ray (love!) and Lilac High Noon Dot. BTW, the Seaside Dot Cool Racerback looks really see-through in this photo. I didn't think it was that bad when I tried it on.

More photos of the Run: Nothing to Hide Crop.

Ray Bound Bra and Hot N Sweaty Skirt

More photos of the Bruised Berry and Pop Orange Swiftly. Shown with new quilted Groove pants.

Cycling Arm Warmers but I'm not sure why they can't be used for running, too.

See in the 3rd from the bottom photo, the bb swiftly looks really blue more than purple...oh, but I LOVE the ray speed short outfit. SO cute!

I ordered both new speeds yesterday.... do we know yet whether they are the softer or stiffer ones? I'm on the east coast so have to wait a week -- thanks!

Have you seen the new Run: Scoop Me Up Tank? It's in the PN for Uvillage...

I agree, it looks blue, like the Bold Blue Swiftly that's already in my closet. Would love to see a side by side comparison of these two colors.

Sure the arm warmers could be used for running, there's not really any difference. The only difference with Lulu is there are no thumb holes on the cycling arm warmers so you can wear gloves.

@Meg, the Run: Scoop Me Up Tank looks real nice. Is that the same top used in the headband photos?

I also would like to know if the Ray Speed shorts are the stiff (2-way stretch) or the soft (4-way stretch) material ?

OT- Bought the Simili Dance Crops at Target for 28$. AMAZING ! Love Love Love even better than Lulu's !

Thanks to whoever mentionned it in another post. :)

Has lll ever made an extra long swiftly tank like the extra long crb? That would be amazing, as I love the swiftly tanks but feel they are to short in length.

@Meg
Thanks for the link to the Scoop Me Up tank. Loving it! (Quite like Prana's Quinn.) Finally we get to see the full tank, instead of the snippet of top view in the Slipless, Skinny Satin Pirouette and Lucky Luon headbands. And it comes in Ray too! I'm hoping for the Pop Orange. Colors are always stronger in other fabrics, other than Swiftly. :)

Really wishing that they did a better job with the Bound Bra. My regular 4 showed too much armpit cleavage, and sizing up in the 6 was just that, too big. ALAS.

I tried on the white seaside dot crb tonight and the material was really scratchy against my skin. Did anyone else have that problem?

Lila said...

The ray speeds are 2 way. Definitely crunchy.

The white seaside dot has high polyester content, that's why it feels scratchy. Almost all printed crb feels that way.

@ Anon 11:30 pm - I found the seaside dot CRB to be really scratchy/rough as well, so it was an easy pass for me. I have other printed CRBs with high polyester % (unicorn tears, ikat, cameo, etc.) and none of them have this (to me) cheap feeling to the fabric. I also passed on the beachy floral CRB for the same reason.

Any of the "Naked Seam" or "Bonded" Speed Shorts are being reported by customers to actually cut into runners flesh. Make sure to READ the COMMENTS on the lulu website before purchasing these. No type of running short should literally CUT anyone's flesh!! How about sewing them instead of gluing them, lulu?!?!

Crazy...I ran 10 miles in my bonded speeds and they were lovely. There is nothing sharp about them! I honestly can't even figure out what people are talking about...

I just got my ray speeds in the mail. They are made of the stiff material. Mine are also smaller than normal. Meh
