Wish the color came in the back on track jacket!
Am I missing something or did the Silver Bullet SL disappear from the website today? It seems too early to send a running tank to WMTM, but what do I know?I also noticed a couple colors disappeared in the Run Wild SS too. I really want the Run Wild SS in the blush quartz, but at 68$ I am having trouble pulling the trigger. My bf got me the porcelain one for my bday and I really love it for those early mornings when it's not tank weather and you don't want long sleeves. So when I first saw some colors were missing I got all excited thinking maybe it would go to WMTM soon, but alas the color I want is not one of those that disappeared. Boo :(And finally what's with the lack of Speed Shorts??? It's June, shouldn't we be getting more shorts options? Maybe next week...
Really liking this jacket in this color!
Loooove but how many in stride jackets does one need....
One needs 10 stride jackets, give or take 25.
@ purrfiktangil I agree about the speed shorts, it's terrible because they release a pair or two every once and a while but they're in weird colors. I'd love a pair in pow pink!
:) thanks Anon 5:08, I was *just* beginning to feel silly about the 3 I've added to my collection in the past 4 weeks!
I am waiting patiently for the Dance Studio Jacket to come out in Bruised Berry. I did break down and buy it in black as well as the Define in black and bruised berry. So I have something to wear to my early morning yoga classes, but the Dance Studio Jacket is my favorite! From my lips to Lulu's ear...
I bought the define in bruised berry- love the color!
I'm still waiting for the bruised berry wuc! Hoping for next week:)
That jacket is gorgeous! It is stunning. I swore off jackets for the summer bc FL summer's are like living on the face of the sun, HOT. But I may breakdown and buy this one. Sooo purdy.BTW, I don't know any strides or in strides. How do they fit? I have a define or 2 and LOVE it but I know this one is quite different. Is it TTS?
@ Kristin, I have also sworn off jackets until closer to fall for the same reason (SC), but this one is really pretty and would look super cute with jeans I bet. For sizing, I sized down in my In Stride (White Quiet Indigo Stripe), from my usual 6 to a 4...that said, it is quite fitted (I'd only wear a tee or tank under mine), but I preferred that look to the bagginess of the way the 6 fit me. I have 2 Defines and I got a size 6 in both.
@ Kristin, one more thing, the 6 in the In Stride on me fit like it is on the model in the pic, but I felt like it was too poofy through the waist and shoulders. The 4 was a body skimming fit, more like the 6 in the Defines on me.
Kristin - living on the face of the sun. . . HAHHA!! I totally agree. I haven't gotten any just because its too hot down here. HEY you CAN legitimately wear them in Publix or any Mall/ movietheater!!! Indoors are always ice boxes here! I was wanting one but it looks so long in the torso- I thought define would flatter my short torso better! Hanging on for currant define to come back around!
anon 5:08OMG I am literally laughing looking over at my 25+ Lulu jackets and am CERTAIN I'm getting the Bruised Berry Stride!!! Glad I'm not alone!!!
@Anon 5:43pm, I would DIE for a bruised berry DSJ. DIE. Well no but I would happily charge it to my credit card in the wee hours of the morning on a Tuesday upload :) I don't think I can gamble on them releasing a DSJ in this colour, I'll definitely be getting this In Stride. I got this colour of Some Like it Hot crops today, and it is sooooo pretty!
I personally stay true to size in the stride jackets b/c I like to be able to layer more than just a tank under them, and I often wear them with leggings, and in my regular size, they are bum covering. But if you want a tighter fit, you could size down.
@Melissa, would u say the color in person looks much like it does in the pic?
@purrfiktangil, yes its very close to the picture on my monitor. They are a nice vivid, saturated purple leaning towards blue, but definitely purple.
I envy you gals with your Defines and In Stride jackets. I don't have one and as much as I love how cute they look they are just not practical here in the year-round tropics (it's currently 89°F with 77% humidity where I live right now. And it's not even noon yet!)
@KristinI sized down in the In Stride and Stride. Even then it is quite roomy on me. I guess it depends on how "true to size" you are to the size that you are wearing. What I mean is that I am a 4, but on the smaller side of 4 for tops. So this two jackets are still roomy when I size down to a 2. Personally, I prefer the Stride than the In Stride, due to the high collar. At least with the Stride, I have to hood to sort of "hide" the collar a little. But this is just a personal preference. Now, I certainly echo Melissa's sentiment in regards to the DSJ in bruised berry. I love DSJ the best and will stay up all night waiting for it's upload!
Maybe it's just me and my giant hips, but I have to size up for the Strides. I'm a 6 in tops and 8 in bottoms, and I have to go 8 for Stride jackets because they're so long.
Oooh, that Bruised Berry is gorgeous in a jacket!!Off topic-- I was just at my local store today and I had a handful of items to try on. One of the girls asked me if I needed a fitting room. As I followed her, she grabbed a pair of the Amuse Me pants and asked if I needed any "clown pants" today. LOL! It really made me laugh.
i tried on a pair of the dash shorts in the seaside spots and said i was going to wear them for soccer. the educator said i would look like the ball! :P
Is this jacket in stores yet? Cause I'm not seeing it on any of the sites. I got the Flash Light Define when it first came out but finally returned it because it was just too much on top, and I couldn't imagine wearing it in the middle of the winter. Now I'm seriously thinking about a Bruised Berry Define or this cutie! I wore my Bruised Berry Polocrosse crops today and really love the color. I matched it with a blurred blossom tank and thought it looked very cheerful :)
I am having major closet issues!!! Where do I put all the Defines, Scubas, wraps, tanks, scarves, WUC, grooves and swiftles. My closet is really overflowing with LuLu and I love every single item (well, maybe minus just a few). How do you all organize your LuLu? HELP.....
Lol! I hear ya sister! I am 16 scubas alone! 35 scoop necks! I swear I could wear a different top each day for six months! I store mine under the bed! In really nice fabric storage boxes! My partner is none the wiser! : )
Damn! I just got my flash light in stride and looooovveee it, and now i want this one too!... time to go scrounge my dollars and cents!
@sbI know what you mean! My husband describes our little house as "the lulu closet that we all live in". lol!
I wish I could get my husband to read this blog. Then maybe he would understand I'm not the only one with a Lulu addiction!
MAJOR SALE ON LULU WEBSITE!!!
Thx ladies for the fit advice on the in stride jackets. BTW, if you need to find a place in your overflowing closets for all your lulu gear.......I'm happy to make space in my closet! LOL.
I have overflowed to my husband's side of the closet and to another bedroom (supposedly guest room but who wants guests when you have Lulu clothes as your company?). Just saying. Sometimes I see this as a problem only because I proclaimed slowing down on buying last week since I don't go to the gym more often than the number of items I buy. Like I said sometimes. At least I'm not collecting duck calls or old toasters (no offense to those who do). WMTM must have put us all in a good mood!
i actually have a completely separate "gear closet". and i live in MANHATTAN (and no, i'm not rich, i live in a 1 bd that we've turned into 3). but yeah...i have a closet just for my gym stuff/gear (i'm a climber)...LOTS of that closet is lulu..*sigh*
I wear sz 4 for my define jacket and for most tops. Do you ladies feel that it's a size down or TTS for the In Stride jacket? Keen to order the Dune piece... Thanks!
