I tried this on in the store today. I usually take a 10 in most tops (swiftly ss and ls, crb, power y) but I sized down to an 8 for this shirt. I tried it on with a crb under it since I'd most likely be layering either a tank or bathing suit under and it fit great. Also, asked the educator if she thought I should size up to a 10 and she said the 8 fit perfectly.I was hesitant about this top at first because of the ruffle on the butt, but when I tried it on it was actually cute! It would definitely work over a bathing suit as a cover up which helps me justify the price (dual purpose!). I'll probably leave the tags on just in case they come out with a more simple UPF top next week (read: no ruffle) Hope this helps!
Thanks! Is the material Swiftly? Because it kind of looks like swiftly instead of the UV material they used the last couple of years.
I think this looks really cute!
I think it is really cute too, I just don't think I have a need for it...I get super hot when I run and start tearing layers off bc I feel like I'm suffocating, lol! I just don't think this shirt would last very far into my run :) I bought the rash guard last week otherwise I may consider it for a cover up.
The material is definitely a lot softer, lighter and smoother than swiftly. That was one of the things that sold me was how soft and cool it felt on my skin. It also has mesh around the armpits and other areas to help breathe. It's definitely a top you have to see, feel and try on in person if you're hesitant.. but I ended up loving it!@anon 6:03 - I get over heated on a lot of my runs also! When it's 50 degrees out I'm in a tank and shorts. I was just thinking that if I can keep this on for half or more of my run I can reduce the amount of sun exposure I'm getting... and I think it's lightweight and breathable enough that I could stand it... hopefully :)
Gawd could they make this top any longer then add a ruffle so short people can't even get it hemmed?!
