I love the Deep Breath tank and may get the Blush Quartz/High Noon Dot. The dot as an accent is pretty cute but not interested in the others. We'll see how it looks like tonight, may save some money yet! Where are the WU crop or any tanks in the WAFS May? Are we missing the boat on this print?
It looks like I may be saving money for the month of June...not loving anything in the new palette/prints so far. Thankfully...I needed a break!
wow...i really thought when i saw the pic of the fabric swatches a few days ago that the pastel pink/lilac with polka dots was a joke. sad to see it wasn't...this is truly awful. and i don't even hate dots, but these are terrible! it suddenly makes the awful sea wheeze shorts look cute. i understand that the pastel with dots is on-trend, but the designers at lulu have to realize that what works for a flouncy skirt or vintage-inspired sundress is not always going to work on athletic wear. neons are on trend. they work for both worlds. vintage-inspired pastel polka dots? does NOT work for athletic wear! it just looks juvenile. just because it's on trend doesn't make it OK!!!
Is it just me, or do the dots look like they are distorted or have bled into the lighter color? Sadly it looks cheap :(
Don't care at all for any of the tops, but if those Turbo Runs are uploaded tonight, they are MINE!!! Not crazy about the polka dots but I love the black with white trim. And as the sister of a 2 war veteran (Iraq and Afghanistan), let all Americans remember the true meaning of Memorial Day today.
It looks like they were having trouble with the dyes running so they just went with it. Not a fan of the dots.
I agree with all the dot comments.....YUCK!!! Good lord that type of pattern is found in places like The Children's Place or Zellers! That will be in LOOT within 10 days. Thankfully though WTH this crap coming out my wallet is safe!
My wallet is safe. Probably good. I may get a flashlight piece though. I missed out on the flash craze and have since come to like that color.
What is the difference between the deep breath and the pure balance tank? I can see the visual differences but what about fit and function?
Since I spent a LOT on porcelaine blue and concord grape items, I am sort of relieved to see this color palette and set of patterns. I don't care for them at all, so I won't be tempted to buy anything!
I totally agree that the dots are bogus and nto meant for athletic gear. no spending for me this week. is is sacriligious to mention on a Lulu blog that Gap Body has some reallly cute things right now?? Some stuff truly cordinates very well with the recent menthol and porcelaine items, and the lighter flash as well. I recommend the Motion and the Breathe Tops. The Breathe t'shirts layer great over the CRBs - my most recent was the mint color over a porcelaine CRB - cute!!
@ Focus - The Deep Breath has better coverage in the bra area. The Pure Focus is really cut wide in the front so it shows a ton of cleavage or breastbone (if you don't have cleavage). The Deep Breath racerback is more wider/more substantial in the back so if gives a little more support than the Pure Focus. Fit is very similar - true to size.
@Focus I have and love both Pure Balance and Deep Breath tanks. Other than being visually different (though actually quite similar in style), I find that the coverage and support level are the main differences between these two.
Pure Balance is the more "risque" low coverage tank for anyone larger than a B cup,(imo). I believe Pure Balance only offer light/medium support. Deep Breath offers medium support and also while very visually pleasing, it still gives you a medium coverage. Hence, more usability amongst more cups sizes.
I have a friend who loves the Deep Breath Bra. She is 34DDD (yes, triple)and she said that the bra holds the girls well for our yoga classes. She has yet to try the tank, this upload perhaps. And she is hoping that the fit will be very similar. I am a 32A, so both tanks work well. I like them both a lot but prefer the "prettier" Pure Balance.
The fit in the torso are pretty much the same. Hip length, fitted but looser than Power Y.
Fabric: Both are luon light (there was a special release of Deep Breath made of Luxtreme, perhaps two summers ago). Deep Breath has Circle Mesh strap at the back. Hope this helps, oh and I find the fit as TTS. :)
Hmmm, I love a good polka dot but not sure I love this.
I still love the neon, though and am happy to see more things in Flashlight.

I too am a 34dd and love the deep breath tank! I actually like these 2 deep breaths in the dots bc one is kinda funky/faded and the other is just an accent. Other than that I am not super excited about the rest.
