isn't that a crb, not an every yogi tank?
definitely an every yogi tank cuz it covers her bum more like a dress
Purchased a bang buster headband in blurred blossom today!
This blurred blossom can't go away fast enough. Expect to see a lot of it in the WMTM section...
what colours are in the blurred blossom pattern? i have some heathered ultraviolet wunder unders & i'm wondering if a CRB in this pattern might be a good match.
Bunch of new loot added last night. Bought a DSJ in Blurred Grey. Matches my Quick Step pants and it is a nice light color for spring/summer. Will probably still get the DSJ in Dune. Such a pretty, neutral color. Also bought a CRB in Wild lime. :)
@Yogibabe, Thanks for sharing about the loot addition, I'm going to buy a pair of Yin To You Crops but I can't decide which color (;
Didn't those pants come out in mid February?
@ Anon 7:26 AM- I have the blurred blossom power Y and heabdand as well as the ultraviolet CRB and I think blurred blossom looks great with ultraviolet. There are so many colors in the print, concord grape is obviously there, but there is some other purple which I believe is the ultraviolet.
yogibabe- did you size up in your DSJ. i sized up a size, hope it fits. Blurred Blossom is a god awful print and I can't wait til it's gone! I remember someone once asked if lulu could make seasonal colors to go along with holidays (i.e., red for xmas) - well HERE YOU GO! the easter bunny threw up all over you!
I happen to love the blurred blossom print - I think it's beautiful - and I'm sorry that one poster feels that it looks like the Easter Bunny threw up. I guess I like looking like Easter bunny barf. On another note, I am looking forward to the mystery green that is coming out; the one that is in the blurred blossom print.
@anon 10:49am. I am a 2 or 4 with lulu tops and jackets, so I went with the 4. It's a nice fit for me. I tried on the DSJ when I was at a store last week but didn't buy it. Glad that I found this one marked down this morning. Sizing up should be fine, especially if you want to layer a thicker piece underneath. Hope yours will fit great. I am excited to get one, my first DSJ. Here's to many more. :)
I also happen to like the blurred blossom... Especially in small amounts. I intend to get the no limit tank. And a headband is good too. Maybe not so much for a skirt...
I like the blurred blossom in small doses as well but I can totally get how it is not for everyone. I am really looking forward to getting the No Limit Tank. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to see one in store this weekend. Have a wonderful weekend Ladies. Wear lots of lulu <3
Flash WU restocked!!! Get em while you can :)
I also like the blurred blossom. What I DON'T like is the nature of the luon. It feels kind of plasticky and not soft like the solid colours (as was mentioned, it's 94% poly and 6% spandex - no rayon at all, unlike the non-print luon). I also wish they hadn't put the small dot in the background of the print. It detracts from it, I think. So I'm not buying anything in blurred blossom unless the fabric quality improves. I find it really disappointing.
@ laurie: I bought 2 pairs of the Yin to You pants on markdown at my store and LOVE them (got grey and wee are from space one)! Just ordered the black one online. The grey is a light silvery color and looks way better on than on the hanger. The black is the same as the black slub denim. I would say get both! If you have to choose, the black is probably more versatile.@ Anon 10:49: I always size up in the DSJ. I usually wear a size 4, but prefer the DSJ in a 6. It's more comfortable and still very slimming and flattering in the size up. I just ordered the blurred grey as well. This will be my 4th DSJ. Love the style and it's so versatile!
I agree with MELR that Blurred Blossom is nice in small doses, like a headband or that nice No Limit Tank. I looked at the Power Y and CRB in the print at my local lulu store today, though, and the quality of the fabric with this print just made it look...off, somehow. I can't explain it very well. It just didn't seem very nice, and that sounds like such a limp way of describing something. It looked better on the Pacesetter skirt, but I don't generally do patterned bottoms. Which reminds me. Right now, there are only two kinds of running skirts for sale: Chase Me (I think) and Pacesetter. Will lululemon come out with any new styles or old styles of skirt in the next few months, based on previous years, or will we just get new colors of those two styles?
@LaurieI also have two Yin To You crops. Bought the Inkblot and Wee Are From Space at full price, when they first out. Usually, I am a 2 in lulu bottoms, but the YTY has a really tight waist, so I went with the 4s. The educators at my store also agreed on this "tight waist" issue. The legs are the same, just the waist. @PCS, did you notice the tightness in the waist too? Once I got it pass the widest partr of my hip, it's fine. But too much work wriggling to get it on. :(Anyway, I love mine. Am thinking of getting the other two, if they are still available. I also have an Inkblot Power Y and just rocked the whole ensemble to my yoga class, two weeks ago. :) Such a fun look. The heathered deep indigo skirt breaks the look a little, still wild, but a "little milder"!
I also bought a DSJ, I'm a 6 or 8 but went with the 6 because the 8 would hike up when I raised my arms and the zipper bucked out into a weird bump under the bust. I'm a 32D with a 27" waist and laaarge hips (over 40" - to be honest I don't measure them...) so buckling is always an issue for me. The 6 however, buckled IN under the bust so it looked really flattering and it didn't ride up when I raised my arms. So I would say it fits TTS for a half pear/half hourglass like me. If that's helpful to anyone...
Has anyone really sweat it out in the flash WU's? I've been tempted to get a pair now that they are back in, but I do a lot of drenching spin classes and high cardio. Wondering if its sweat friendly!
@Yogibabe: you are awesome that you can rock the ink blot Yin to You crops! I tried those on & decided I just couldn't pull it off. I did find the waist band to be tight (it's the seam that connects the skirt to the pants that isn't very stretchy). But I stayed with my regular size 4 cuz I've had issues with fabric bunching up behind my knees when I've sized up in crops in the past. You should get the 2 other colors on mark down. They are so cute!Off topic, I just noticed & ordered white lined studio crops. I don't think they were featured in this week's upload. These will be my first pair in this style so can't wait to try them on!
@PCS Ordered the other two colors in the loot yesterday! :)(: You are right, the tightness is at where the skirt attaches to the pants. When I wriggled into the crops in size 2 at the store, I can hear/feel the stitching at the waist pop and break...so I went with the 4. Love them!!!
