The Back on Track SS Tech top.For some reason stores aren't posting many photos of this. It pulls on this women through the bra strap area. If you go to the web model photos, it pulls on her in that area, too. I wonder if it runs snug through the chest.

I can see why the Paris Pink Speed shorts are a hot item. They are very eye-catching.

Heathered Charcoal Wunder Under pants. One of my favorite pair of still pants that I own are my heathered charcoal. It's such a great color to pair with black.

Paris Run For It Pullover - How Great It Can Look

I didn't want a Paris Pink Run: For It Pullover when I saw the web model shot. I mean, honestly, is the web model shown below really selling you the top?

However, in the top photo we get a real sense of how fantastic this top can look in the right size and with a curvy shape and coloring that pops against Paris. Maybe lulu ought to consider going back to using invisible people to model the clothes like they did before they had an e-commerce store. Poor models (and I'm not talking about attractiveness and shape exclusively, I'm talking about posture and expression) are a distraction and a turn off when it comes to deciding whether a piece will suit you. Lots of stores just feature the clothes (Patagonia and Athleta to name two) without people in them.

Anyway, eh models and poor lighting in the web photos are a huge reason why I love seeing all the educator photos and self-modeling photos I grab from Facebook. (A big thank you to Anne for making me want a Paris RFI now)

PS - I should add I am not picking on the web model's looks at all. It's the photographer, artistic director, web content/layout person or whatever they are called that I am directing these comments to. They are the ones deciding how to photograph and which photos to display for the hundreds of thousands of people visiting the lululemon website to shop.

Chai Time II Photos

This is probably the best photo I've seen of the Chai Time II pullover. Maybe it works better when it's not over-sized.

I dunno. It's not this girl, I just don't like the shape of the sweater at all. I find it very boxy-looking in most of the photos.
