NEW Run: For It Pullover Product Alert Info

Here is the product alert information on the new Run: For It tech fleece pullover. It's coming in Currant and Persian Purple. I think I read it was spotted in a store and it's $118 and available in sizes 2-10. It's super pretty but I'm not a huge fan of the asymmetrical zipper opening.

  • Run for it & reach your goals in this cozy, body-skimming midlayer
  • Wicking tech fleece is brushed on the inside for warmth & comfort
  • Body-mapped with anti-stink circle mesh
  • Rib panels for extra movement
  • Long front zip for easy on/off
  • Set-your-ponytail-free from your hood
  • Love notes to warm your heart
  • Cuffins with thumbholes keep hands warm
  • Chafe-resistant flat seams

Aughhh.

Love the color.

I actually like the asymmetrical zipper.

Hate the price. $118 is just right at my "Ughhh" price point. I'd totally drop $79 for this. I might drop $98 for it.

Oh well, maybe it'll show up in Loot in a few months. :)

I think I like it, but i want to touch it in person. i might have to order it just so I can try it on and play with it... it would be worth paying to ship it back. I REALLY love the color!!!

I'll either get this or the currant define. lol

I NEED some currant! ;)

do we know if it has a pocket anywhere? back, front or side??

looks like there's a pocket in the back. also coming in black too. love the color but hate the price. too bad because it means i can only afford one not two between the currant define and this pullover.

I really like the asymmetrical zipper and color this may be a win win for me.

BTW everyone...I just bought the currant define today, usual luon, nothing special - and it's $108. Looks like the new price for defines to me. The currant color is completely beautiful though - a slightly pink-red. Absolutely love it.

Forgot to say above that I'm a US customer - my last define just a month ago cost $99.

Look like a potential, but like @strawb3rries, I'll have to touch it to make up my mind. Love the asymmetrical zipper, color and NO color blocking, but at $118...I'd much rather get two tanks than one of this. Or even a Scuba or Define. I'm sure I'll get more use out of a jacket!

What are "love notes?"

the define is 108 because its brushed on the inside.

I would like one of this PO, not sure about currant on me though. The asymmetrical zip is nice for running when the hood is up, the zip isn't bonking you in the chin on a cold day.

I love how the asymmetrical zip looks, but I learned the hard way from the Run: Inspire Jacket that they aren't always great in practice. They rock when the zipper is all zipped up (like @RunMama said - it keeps it from rubbing your chin). But when it's not zipped up it flaps up and down, hitting you in the chin when you run.

Maybe since the fabric is different from the Inspire Jacket, it won't have that problem. Fingers crossed. :)

I received my black swan Define today and it is supposed to be brushed = but it just seems like regular luon to me - maybe a little thicker --but not brushed - It's going back -- I would rather the Currant or Pique Define

I saw this in a Seattle area store last night. It felt super soft and I really liked the asymmetrical zipper. Normally I'm not a fan of them (and even in that photo I don't like it) but I liked it in person.

The currant define I bought today feels no different inside than all my other defines. So if it's brushed, it's not even noticeable.

The shoulder detail with the small pleats is super flattering. Beautiful

i got my currant define and it was $108 and the educator showed me upon ring up at the register that it was more b/c it was brushed. Definitely softer inside. I saw a difference. :)

Have these hit the website yet? I didn't see them in the store either, You would think that the Canadian Company would have them in all their Canadian stores.. Jeesh.

Bought the Run For It Pull Over at a Seattle store today and it is super cute. Chi Runner - there is a snap that you can use to hold the flap down when you don't want it zipped up. Looks like they listened to customer feedback about this issue. :)

Yes, the Run For it can be a bit high, but it is a great piece to layer under jackets or alone, so for me, if I can get one, will do so. But IF is the word

Has anyone on the east coast (US) seen this yet?
