We heard the rumors but it's definitely true, there is a Lululemn tutu hitting the stores. There are also leotard and rehearsal tights. The caption to this photo said they were ready to go to a new Bar Method studio wearing their leotards and tutus. It seems a bit gung-ho for Bar but then again, I've only take it once in a studio setting. However, the ladies on the DVD aren't wearing tutus. ;-)

ummm definitely not putting this on my purchase list. As a former classical ballet dancer, why on earth would anyone buy this. No functionality at all. Even as a ballet dancer nobody wears these types of tutu because you can't see foot to hip (high femur).
I'm a Bar Method fanatic- no way would I wear a tutu to Bar. Even if for some crazy reason I thought it would be a fun look (seriously crazy, as in, I temporarily lost my mind), the tutu would get in the way of the exercises!
I actually think this tutu would make for a cute look for an occasion like a Christmas party, you know paired with a white blouse or something, maybe some black tights and some booties. I'd rock it for sure.
So many people wear tutus in half marathons just for the fun bounce while they run...depending on the price, it may be a big seller!
I'm embarassed for lulu. They just lowered their image. This is silly. I buy tutus for my toddlers. Halloween has passed. Fail.
In my opinon, I think it seems more fitted for Ivivva, not Lulu.
I regularly work out in my Pure Barre studio, and I would look like a fool in this tutu. It would get in the way, I wouldn't be able to see my body to make sure it was in the correct position, all the mat work would be uncomfortable, and really, most of all, I would look pretty darn foolish, like I thought I was a ballerina just because I'm a Pure Barre regular.
Love the color but think they are taking their Black Swan theme a little too far.
I think the lady in the middle might be wearing the universal wrap tied around her body, and pulled up through the top at the neck?
And I too find the tutu ridiculous.

Hey guys! The wonderful lady in the middle (these are the ladies at my store) is wearing a Universal wrap. She always comes up with fun ways to wear it. The tutu is meant to be a practice tutu for ballerinas and it comes in black and black swan (and these lovely ladies are wearing the BLACK one). Just wait to see what else is in store! It will all make sense soon. Please, just be patient.
I love how some ladies take every item that lulu releases personally like everything they make should be made just for them. There is more than just you out there and who care's if you think it won't work for you don't worry it will still be bought by someone else. Then are you going to make fun of them for wearing it like the herem pants? Be your own person, it is nice that lulu can come out with different things that not everyone and their mother will be wearing at the gym or on the street.
