This month is going to be dangerous for me! I want the Plum Live Simply, the reversible wunder under crops and those astros!
I went back through the posts and I'm not seeing any sort of fit review for the new HSR crb... anyone finding that it runs a bit more snug like the heathered crb colors usually do? I want to know what size to tell Santa (wink wink) to get when it gets loaded :)
I NEED those reversible wunder unders. I have the ear warmer headband in that same fabric and I absolutely adore it. It is so soft and cozy! Darn it, lulu.
Anon at 6:14--I am assuming you mean the new pink CRB? If so, yes, I felt that it ran small. This was the first time that I sized up from my usual CRB size (which is typically one size smaller than I buy in other tanks). I asked the educators at the store and they said that the last person who bought it also sized up from their regular size.
Thanks for the info in regards to the sizing up of the Heathered Smokey Rose CRB. I would have not thought to go a size up because just like you, I normally would have to size down for CRBs in comparison to my other tanks. Yes! Definitely would have to get the reversible stripey WU!!!! Been wanting it since I laid eyes on it on the "crops" web page! Please upload on Thursday!
I want the reversible wunder unders! Do you know whether I should size up for those? The 4's fit me always but very snug, so if these are 2 layers will it fit even more snug/too tight?
Re: the heathered pink CRB--I think it actually fits the same as my other CRBs, but it does "look" smaller and shows more of the seams of my Flow Y (and I can tell if the pad has shifted and isn't aligned right with my chest). I think the difference in appearance stems from my other CRBs being either dark or microstripe which tend to hide seams and little uneven lines like bra padding edges and the top of your pants, whereas the lighter color with the metallic effect draws attention to them. I don't know if that's helpful, but I guess I'd say that if you like how your other CRBs *feel*, you might be able to stick with your usual size, but if you're more concerned with a smooth appearance, you may want to size up or avoid this color.
I would size up for reversible wunder unders. I find that they don't fit as well in my usual size when reversible. I will probably size up if they are uploaded Thursday!
I wear everything in size 4's except the Wunder Unders. The next size up is good but slightly loose, but i usually size up in the wunder unders. CRBs are TTS for me(maybe because i'm not busty either?).Also saw the Plum Live Simply and I have to say that it looks better in the photo. :/ The plum was not a vibrant purple like you see in the pictures here.
Does everyone think sweat will show badly in the reversible wunder unders? I have a pair of the herringbone in transit, but I think I like the reversible WUs much better . . . assuming no sweat issues.
The reversible crops WU were looser then the reversible WU pants.I did size up to my Y flow size for the Dusty Rose CRB.
Ummmm that cabin ls looks soooo manly. PASS>
I tried the HSR CRB this morning - I agree that sizing up hides all the imperfections that my usual size (6) showed. The material also felt rougher/scratchy compared to my other tanks. At $42 I passed (it's a sweet colour but too close to pig link which I already have). I'm having a hard time justifying the prices now seeing how quickly things go on markdown...this past weekend my lulu had racks of tanks, shorts and skirts all on for $29 for one hour. Now the same tanks are back at their previous markdowns of $39+.
I got my TTS for the reversible crops- they are so incredibly soft. I am a 4 in WU crops and a 2 in the WU pants and ended up with a 4. Wore them this am to an intense cardio hour workout- NO SWEAT!! YEAH!!! Tomorrow, I think I'll wear the stripe side!
I bought the reversible pants in my regular size 4 and they are definitely more snug everywhere (butt, thighs, and surprisingly waist). I might have to exchange for the crops if they are slightly looser. They are super, super soft though and I'll likely be wearing them as streetwear for this winter. I also bought the currant and persian purple ls swiftlys. I'm only keeping one since I want the currant scuba but it's a very, very tough choice.
