NEW! Scuba Colors - Rocksteady Stripe, Heathered Wren, Heathered Ivory

LOVE this! - Rocksteady Gradient Wee Stripe Scuba

New Scuba colors are out. On top is the Rocksteady Gradient Wee Stripe Scuba. It reminds me a little of the Wish Blue Multi Poncho Stripe I bought last year. I am very tempted to get it but there are a few other new things that popped up today that I also like. I hate when this happens! The middle photo is a new Heathered Wren Scuba and the bottom is Heathred Ivory, which is also tempting. The Heathered Wren and Ivory have a little embroidery on them:

I don't know if this will jack the price up another $15 or so but I wouldn't be surprised. Some of my product alerts also mentioned a Royalty Scuba but provided no photos. The solid Royalty is super pretty.

Royalty Scuba

Another look at Heathered Wren and Heathered Ivory up close:

It looks like the Heathered Ivory has a metal zipper and the Heathered Wren has a plastic but it could be painted metal.  Boo for metal zippers. Imuch prefer plastic.

yeah, the royalty is solid. the scubas with the hood embroidered are regular price. saw the rocksteady stripe in store and yes, it looks very much like the wish blue poncho stripe only with teeny stripes. I think it is BS that they are making the stripe hoodies special edition (oh wow the zipper pull is different from the rest).

Thanks for the link!

@ anon 5:19 am - Good to know that the Rocksteady stripe one looks a lot like the Wish MUPS scuba. I can live without getting it now. ;-)

There is no consistency with lululemon on the striped hoodies. The wren and dewberry were $128 but the coal was $108. It sounds like the rocksteady will be back up to $128. Be great if they could figure themselves out.

Can you do a post on the difference between the scuba, define, and (in)stride jackets? I'm new to lulu and would like to know - can't quite tell by just looking at pictures!

I agree with the above poster- I could use an education as well! I have the (in)stride jacket. I know it doesn't have a hood but not sure how the fit compares.

The heathered ivory scuba is up in a hidden link on the US site. Go to Top Rated and click on the Scuba hood pic.

I think the Scuba is a good place to start with your lulu collection. It's a very heavy weight sweat jacket and somewhat stiff compared to pretty much everyone else's. You definitely have to get used to the fit. However, the thick material is pretty wind proof. Another great piece to try is Reverse Groove Pants. I really love those. They hug your tush really nicely and are super comfortable for exercise. To recommend anything else I'd need to know more about how you are going to wear your lulu, eg., for exercise - what type, how busty you are, do you work out inside or outside, do you mind showing skin/cleavage, etc.

Thank You LuluAddict for your suggestions. I couldn't find the Reverse Groove Pants on Lululemon website-help. Anyhow, I'm busy mom of two very young kids and I don't workout, so I'm looking for clothes that is conservative, comfortable, and fit well. I've just brought a Push Ur Limit tank in size 4 and I found it to be snug without the removable cups (oh well, I'll give it to my friend). Also, my sister brought me a Bulerias tank in dewberry- size 2, which fits me snug. I have to exchange it for size 4. I'm finding that depending on the cut/style of the tank, I'm either a size 2 or 4 or 6 (I've tried on my friend's Bliss tank and size 6 fits me better).

@ anon 11:19 am - Whoops, they are the Groove pants. I think at one point they called them Reverse Grooves but they are now Grooves. So, if you want comfortable casual wear,I recommend the Studio pants or new Yoga Camp pant. I have Studio crops and love them. Another favorite of mine are the Still Pants - super comfy. You can easily size down in these but you might be out of luck since they only go down to a 2. Lots of ladies also like the Wunder Unders for casual wear. Another great tank for everyday is the Cool Racerback and the Modern Racerback. You wear your own bra underneath them. You might also want to try the No Limit and Let It Loose tanks.
