Agree about the Coal Nesting Black Bird CRB... was excited at first thinking it was going to be like the groove pant band, but I saw it in stores yesterday and it isn't. And because it's a print, it's mostly poleyster again. A pass for me.
1) Agree about the coal nesting black bird crb - it is very polyestery. i cannot stand polyestery tops- feels like wearing a tire :).2) the method wrap in new lighter color trimmed with black/white nesting bird lining looks awesom. i got one yesterday...and now have 2 - the black and this one. btw- sized up 3)i tried on new riding WU. do not feel comfortable - the back seats too low, the seams are cutting into body, the whole look is very busy, and zipper at the bottom bothered me. 4) got new leg warmers - expensive-merino wool, but great - big improvement compared to last year version, 5) got new color of the savasana? srarf - in off white to dilute my black coats/jackets in fall/winter.
The muted mauve crb is pretty, but I ended up buying solid rocksteady instead - it's really beautiful. I can't do polyestere crbs...like someone said above...like wearing a tire.
Also, it drives me nuts when someone opens their hip in dancers pose! lol.
Is it my imagination, or have the CRBs gotten a little shorter in length? I was looking at the Rocksteady CRB n my usual size, and I could've sworn the length was shorter? Are the CRBs shrinking in length?
Also, I agree with the person's comment: open hips in dancer's drives me nuts, too! :-)
I am dying for that new Method wrap. I have the black one too and need this! Do you think it will be uploaded tomorrow? And did you size up on this method wrap and not the black? My black one is an 8... should I stick with that size?
The method wrap should be uploaded tomorrow-it's in the stores around San Francisco as of yesterday. It's even prettier in person, and I found it to be the same size as my black method wrap.
anon @1:06 PM. I got black method wrap in my regular size 8, but on this one i sized up for 3 reasons: 1) it is a very light color, which is very unforgiving for bra or other lines at the back and around hips.2) to have more space around shoulders to avoid dark or sweaty circles under arms.3) to have it a bit on a loose side so i can wear it open to show off the beautiful lining. i hope this helps :)
