Hooray, Bruins!

It's always fun when a series is hard fought and goes for seven games.  It's especially fun when the underdog comes out on top. My husband is from the Boston area so that means I had more than a usual interest in the games. I'm not a huge hockey follower but since Lululemon is headquartered in Vancouver and my fellow blogger is a big Vancouver fan I could not resist putting the Bruins logo on the page and posting a tiny post about the Bruins. Winning. The. Stanley. Cup!!!

I think they were both underdogs...and both deserve a pat on the back for making it this far and fighting a good fight!

Such an amazing game for the Bruins!! Timmy is THE MAN! I was nervous after the first three games in Vancouver, but the Canucks barely had those wins, so I'm glad the Bruins were able to really get their communication together and work amazingly as a team! AFTER 39 YEARS THE CUP IS THEIRS!!!!!

Vancouver was supposed to win. People were saying that from early on in the season. Vancouver was clearly favoured and most people never imagined Boston would even make it to the finals. That's why Vancouver is so crushed. They thought they were "supposed" to win.

I live in Vancouver but I'm a flames (Calgary) fan. All my friends are so sad right now :P But now we know that it was never meant to be ;) hehe

OK, I NEVER watch hockey. EVER. Turned on the game for 5 minutes last night. Why do all the hockey players have beards? Keep their faces warm on the ice? Weird.

@Annonymous, 12:30pm

It's a playoff ritual for most players to grow a beard (or, not shave at least) out of superstition or tradition. Some fans do it too!
