Today's Upload - Some Goodies

A few goodies were uploaded today - the new Light Up tanks (but not the Heathered Coal Wee Stripe), the new Spirit tanks (love mine), the Energy skirts.

The Heathered Grapeseed Sing Floss Travel was uploaded but not the Surge or the new Heathered Deep Navy.

The new Illuminate Jersey and Shorts were uploaded but not the Pink Mist Illuminate. Also, the Illuminate bra was uploaded. I think the price is a bit high at $58 for a bra that shows lumps and bumps underneath tops. Do that many ladies run at night in a bra top only? I guess there might be a few. Still don't get the $10 bump for reflective tape.

I didn't get anything but that's good because I bought a ton of stuff this month. I am hoping to see the new Let It Loose Tank hits my local stores soon.

What did you all get?

Didn't get anything either. Were hoping for the SFT jacket in Heathered Deep Navy, but since that didn't upload, I get to save $. (Overspent already on 4 crops and 6 tops this month! Need to rest my wallet!)

All I wanted was navy SFT :(

I bought the surge Bliss Dress and one of the SPF long sleeves, though if the fabric on the latter is much like last year's SPF stuff, it'll be getting returned.

Nothing for me :( unless something really different and exciting comes out I think I'm all lulu'd out til the Fall.

I got the illuminate jersey and shorts, and the tempo crops. Love my mind over matter but wanted another pair of something similiar length, hope they compare! Was truly hoping for the surge sing floss travel though.

I grabbed the sunblocker in coal (too afraid I'll pit-stain the pretty white and pink ones), and nabbed an oldie I've been craving: the CRB in black tinted citron-whatever-it's-called.

Also just received earlier purchases, the Layer Me Bra and the Heathered Coal CRB. The Heathered Coal fabric feels amazing!

OT--but can anyone give me feedback on the travel pooch? I would like to buy it to use as a cross-body messenger style purse for travel. I don't want or need a "fanny pack." Can anyone tell me if it works well as a purse? Does it look odd? Thanks for any insight!

Lulu Addict, thx for heads up on Facebook. I had a meeting from 10am EST today. Because of your post, I could order right before the meeting :)
I got heathered grapeseed SFT jacket.
my local store hasn't received this jacket in any color, so I needed to order online. Hope it's cute in person!

Btw, my local lulu got Retro Camo flow y and CRBs.
I passed CRBs because as you said, it was kinda sheer.
I got Wren Retro Camo flow y. I couldn't see Camo prints much in black Retro Camo flow y.

do stores in Canada have the SFT in heathered deep navy? I sooooo desperately want one, but it wasn't online and not in my local store.

On the tempo run crops, if you sweat a lot in the coal version, does the wetness look super obvious? i bet embarassed when I look like i've peed myself when i'm teaching classes.... And i have yet to purchase any coal bottoms but these are super cute.!

the travel pouch is awesome as a crossbody bag- I use mine every day and it doesn't look odd at all!

@ strawb3rries: I have the coal MOM crops and the lighter gray run inspire crops and I have no problems with showing perspiration. I live in florida and cycle outside daily and many times it's 100 degrees F outside so I know I'm definitely sweating, it just doesn't show. Hope that helps!

I got the Surge Bliss dress bc I love my black one so much!

@ Anon 11:24: Yes, the pooch can be used as a cross body bag. It's a tiny bit shorter than I'd like a cross body bag to be, ideally, but the "bag" part is so cute that I don't mind. :)

Nothing. Did get some no-show socks at a store though.

:) Thanks!!!

Do you think the SFT in Heathered Deep Navy will go with black bottoms?

The SFT in Navy blue is very disappointing in person. Doesn't look blue but at the same time doesn't look nice with black bottom. I picked up the Grepeseed one instead and really love it. It works well with purple and pink tops and black or grey bottoms.

@ strawb3rries, I had a pair of the coal Run: Team Spirit crops and I sold them on ebay because the sweat did show through for me. I'm stuck with boring black only... :(

Anonymous @7:23pm. Where did you see the SFT in Navy?

glad to hear you are still liking the spirit tank, luluaddict! i have had my eye on the dip-dye for a couple weeks and may go for it.

Didnt buy anything either. Just gave my wallet a rest.
This is OT but can you give me a feedback on the wren denim define jacket? Is it TTS or did you have to size up/down? And if I may rant....WHY the heck dont they make skirts in TALL? Some women like to have bit longer skirt, y'know!

I agree - the Heathered Navy just is NOT what it should be, or what it seems to be in the pictures. I've seen the heathered navy savasana and was not impressed. The SFT in Wren is WAY cuter.

OH - navy seemed really washed out and not as rich as it appears in the product photos of the SFT

@ anon 10:46 pm - I thought the Wren Denim Define fit the same as my other Define jackets - TTS. If you don't have one already, it's a very fitted jacket. Lulu did come out with some tall skirts a few months ago and they sold out before the regular length ones. I encourage you to email the company and let them know you want the tall skirts back. I have several pairs of tall shorts and love the extra inches. They used to make tall Reverse Grooves, Tall Relaxed Fits (replaced with the Knock Out), and tall boogie on (kind of like the boogies except it has a 9" inseam).
