I saw the new Loop de Lulu dress when I was at the South Coast Plaza store. It's an update of the Beat the Heat dress. A woman just posted some photos of it to the This Just In page and reader, Rose, also sent some photos in. Rose comments that the dress is tight in the bust and she had to size up because of it. Tube top style dresses are not my favorite so this will be a pass for me unless it comes in a cute print. I'm also reading there might be a black/black seabed version.

I know alot of people love the lulu dresses, but I just don't get it. There are much cuter dresses out there, IMO.
I agree, why the unflattering length? I wonder if it would look better hemmed...
it's also kinda a knockoff of the american apparel dress.
I'm not a fan either but there are tons of people who love the older Renew Dirt Dress and Beat the Heat dress. I would much prefer a scoop neck or a halter style dress for summer and in a print. I'm not a fan of the pastel solids.
too long,too flairy at bottom and middle part ,not very flattering for figure what ever size you are wearing...that will be a real pass..
is the material not easily wrinkled too?
YUCK! what else can I say! I seriously am not liking this dress at all! I agree, its a weird length and it is not flattering in ANY of the photos I have seen!

Hi LuluAddict, this is in regards to the Pranayama Tank (what happen to your 5/12 blog? dissappeared?) I have to return mine because I'm too small chested for it. This is one of those "you have to be just right" proportioned kinda tanks, not too small nor too big. Which is too bad beacause it's so pretty. I got it in Surge. But the question I have is, this tank is different from the Lulu Sneak Peek ad that you can still see on YouTube. The tank in that ad looks the same except that down the back, it has an adjustable tie that you can pull to make it shorter in length/ruching. Any idea what's going on?
Ugh~ I do not like that dress at all! I'm not a fan of strapless and it's a very unflattering length, even if it was a maxi length it would be better. I'm very disappointed in that and the Cinch dress both.
In my opinion this is taking it kinda far. What's next for lulu? jeans? I just don't think this dress especially belongs in athletic wear.
What ever photos I have seen not only here but from lulu lemon model wearing that dress really accentuated the size of your hips despite they are slim...The lenght do not go well with the style of kind of dress tube...pretty bad design for my own opinion.
2 parts is unflattering becoz focus to much is the breast and the hips...Gee pretty bad design.Sorry that is my own opinion n surely do not intent to hurt anyone.

Yeah - big yuck. Darn, I was really looking forward to a new dress too. What a hideous dress, and what's with the bad pastel colours?? Toothpaste/white? Seriously? The product alert photo is ridiculous, reminds me of The Sound of Music.
