The Latest - Wren CRB and More

Photo of the new CRBs. This isn't that interesting except for the Wren one, second from left. It looks a bit brownish to me. I'll have to see if I like it in person.

Close Up of the Coal/White Microstripe In Stride Jacket.

Inside of the Totally Totetastic Tote. You can turn this bag inside out so the print shows.

Cute outfit with the Tootpaste Swiftly tank and matching Blurred Gray Insipre crops. Also, a close up showing the stitching detail around the Toothpaste swiftly. Not a real fan of the yellow (citron?).

A photo showing the new Turbo shorts in action. I know quite a few people have said they don't care for the flare at the leg opening of these shorts.

In some photos the Pink Mist Space Dye looks very pale but it looks really cute here. Cannot wait to see this in person. Hopefully tomorrow if my PTA meeting doesn't run long.

Reading a number of reviews (including Lulumum's) that the leg opening on these shorts may be kind of narrow if you have more athletic legs. Just an FYI if you are thinking of ordering these.

so bummed to hear these reviews about the do it all shorts II! loved them last summer. or rather, i love the DIA I shorts. guess i should be glad i got 3 last year!

it will be a few weeks before i'm up and walking post-surgery, but when i am, i'd like to get pix of me in the newest coal version to compare with last years. i have very athletic thighs and i'm curious and i'm hoping it will be illuminating!

Hoping that the Scoop Neck in Pink Mist Space Dye will be uploaded tomorrow! (And maybe some Push UR Limits too.)

I bought the Wren CRB yesterday. I posted on This Just In that I normally don't care for wren, but the CRB looks great with black and grey...it's almost a true army green (I just happened to have a bra on that was army green when I tried the green on, and it was almost an exact match...a little bit more brown undertones).

It will be interesting to see what you think of it, but as for me, I was super surprised by how much I liked it.

I'm excited that the CRBs have some fun-colored stitching! I wish I could see them better so I can make out the colors... I don't have a black one yet, so this might be a good one to grab :)

Isn't it odd that an athletic clothing manufacturer doesn't make clothes to fit athletic legs very often? What is up with the "ballet bodies only" attitude? (I have hockey legs, and have a hard time with lulu stuff.)

do you think they will make the pink mist space dye in a power y?? i hope so!

@anon 10:37 I HOPE SO, TOO!!!

Not only a problem with athletic legs but athletic arms too... many long sleeve items are very tight in the arms if you have any sort of muscle tone.

I really like the tote but it is sooo huge it looks ridiculous on me.

Almost everything is skin tight in the arms on me, I have muscle-y arms, but not huge. I tried on the Turbo shorts (made for athletic thighs) and had the strange flare issue too. They were definitely not for me. Even thought they are short, Speed shorts in a size up are perfection for nice quads and hammies ;)

I think Lulu could relieve some of the fit issues with the legs if they gave a more detailed descriptions such as slim-fit or athletic-fit. Some of the shorts do have a wider leg opening and when they mention this I know they are more likely to work for me.

I agree about the arms too...even if you have really slim arms do you want your sleeves snug? I think the arms are almost always cut too small.

I tried on the new shorts and looked very unflattering. I would have loved the shorts if they designed them better. Oh well. $$$ saved!

The Do It All Shorts are a bust, they are so unflattering to the figure, you cannot adjust the hem because the cuff is sewn to the short.

i just got 2 shorts from my local store in toronto. in black and army green/brown, tts and no issue for my athletic legs. the fabric is very soft and stretchable. they are great for multiple activities in the gym and for casual wear. i am glad i got my size. looks like they are going fast...

I went into my local store today to try on the Do It All Shorts fearing about my athletic thighs and the reviews. To my surprise they were the best shorts EVER! I have larger thighs and found that my regular size 6 was perfect and I plan on getting every single colour released in this short!

@ anon 6:27 am - Just posted about the Wren CRB - a surprise love for me. It looks so dull on the hanger and in photos but put it on and pow!

@ anon 8:37 - I saw the extensive FB discussions on the Trading Post, Exchange, and This Just In Lulu boards. I know a lot of people poo poo eBay but that is where I prefer to buy and sell. There are a lot of protections built in to make sure you don't lose money. The Trading Post and Exchange remind me a lot of eBay in the early days before Paypal when you had to wait for checks to clear. I've bought off the Exchange before and it went well but I was crossing my fingers the whole time until I got my item. Trading clothes with other people is a whole other issue. You hope that people are trustworthy but you never know. Why people sent 10 items at a time in the mail for a trade is amazing to me and very foolish on their part. I looked at that woman's recent ebay history. All her recent sales were highly desired and high $ lulu items and she used only stock photos or photos taken from this blog. She only had 12 feedback and 1 as a buyer. Let that be a red flag to you. Ask for actual photos of the item. Read the feedback. On the Exchange and Trading Post, be prepared to loose money. Don't send as a gift and let the seller request money from you in Paypal so you are protected against a loss.

@ Pattbea - The arms used to be wider on some stuff. I have an old (5 years) running jacket (Sportiff) and the arms are very roomy. Most lulu fits me tight in the arms, too, but it's due to flab not muscle. I think they are getting better about designing more "roomier" items - the new Mind Over Matter Tech SL tank has a very square cut and struck me as being designed for bustier women or women who carry more weight in the torso. The Power Dance and Energy bra were designed for a larger bust. I am surprised a lot of their running jackets runs so tight in the shoulders, though. So many athletic women have muscular backs and shoulders. They really need to address that.

Ooops - in my message to anon 8:37 am - I meant the alleged scammer only had 1 feedback as a *seller* on ebay and then all of a sudden she had 20+ high dollar, coveted items up for sale with stock photos - a suspicious situation. If the eBay buyers were ripped off they will be covered by ebay/paypal.

@ anon 10:37 am - I think there will be a pink mist space dye power y. I wish it would come in a CRB but lulu hasn't made those in the past.
