Is the Blog Faster Now?
I am so sorry you have been experiencing slow loading times on the blog. I am quite html illiterate so have tried a few things to speed the blog up. I've made fewer posts on the main page and the photos are smaller but if you click on them you will see a bigger version. I also changed the template. Not that I love it but I think it might have been slowing things down. I just ran a test on WebPageTest.org and it seemed that it is speedier. Please let me know if it's not and I'll do some more homework on how to fix it. I hate slow websites but since I generate the content and have everything cached it's hard for me to know how slow this loads.

A lot of blogger blogs have been loading slower since the shutdown/upgrade of a few weeks ago. I don't think it's anything you're doing wrong.

It's a blogger.com issue, i've never had a problem with your load time.
Yay! Happy to hear. I tried loading the blog from my iphone the other day and it wasn't super slow for me but when I ran it through the test site before I changed the template it had a full load time of something like 28 glacial seconds.
Way better now on my Android! I can do a quick lulu check on the run now!
Before it was a little slow but nothing that ever bothered me... it's faster now but I miss the colored background! hahaha!
I was having disk read errors on your site for the last 4 weeks now it is a lot faster. Thank-you for fixing it.
looks good...loads faster...i think a lot has to do with the site and the inane advertisements they put on your blog. the disney ads, notably, slowed things down because they are dynamic (moving) ads. static (straight pics) ads aren't so bad. not sure if you have a choice as to what ads show up on your blog. if there is an option for dynamic or static, go for static. otherwise, looks good!!

loading speed is much faster especially on my iPhone. thx! :)
I would prefer a less plain look but I was trying to pick something that would load quickly. I was getting ready to change the look anyway but this forced the issue.
