Those dresses look cute! I will definitely want to try them on, though they'll probably look too long on me.
I had no intention of buying a Deep Breath, but I tried one on and fell on love. Husband is sooooo happy, had to put his eyes back into his head :)
the dresses? yeah, i'd never be caught dead in such a thing. they look hoochie. let's keep lulu to ATHLETIC clothes.
my store hasn't gotten ANY Modern Racers. Big Frown.
I don't really understand the purpose of lulu dresses either. Can someone fill me in? I guess if I were over 6 ft tall (I'm not!), wearing them as a long shirt might be really flattering, but that's about it.
Ditto... not a fan, nor do I understand what the point is of these?
Are these pima Modern racers in the states or Canada ? :)
The dresses aren't for me, but maybe they would be good for tennis?
Has anyone seen the Modern Racers in Grapeseed, White and Citron in stores, yet? Where??? I am staring to wonder if my store will not get them...or is it too early to be waiting for them?
@ anon 6:01 pm - That photo was from a Canadian store.I hear my local stores are getting a big shipment in on Monday of the new CRBs and MRBs plus the dresses.@ Glow - I would think Lulu will hem the dresses for you but the proportions may be off if you are petite.
I agree, these dresses are strange...You can't beat Athleta in the dress department. I have a few and they are comfy, feminine yet athletic and relatively inexpensive.
The Modern Racerback in Grapeseed and Red are now in the sotes, but the fabric has changed from Pima to Vitesse. It is a thicker cotton.
The scoopneck dress is a direct rip-off of a nearly identical dress that Zobha has been making for a couple of years...get original, Lulu! Your products (quality-wise) are crap, at least make your designs your own!
@pattybea: I agree that athleta has great sporty/casual/to-fro dresses! I don't wear any of their workout wear (lulu only) but their casual stuff is super.
