My son had an early morning soccer game today down in south Orange County so I was able to stop by the Irvine Lululemon on the way home to try on the Sunset tank and see the new run line arrivals. He wasn't really thrilled to be dragged shopping so I tried to hurry while at the store and forgot to check out the Record Breaker crops. I did try on the new Sunset tank. For some reason I thought this tank was made from silverescent circle mesh but it isn't. The top portion is luxtreme and the bottom is circle mesh. I had to try on a size down from my normal size but the top portion wasn't overly tight so I think the tank is geared for bustier women. However, the bottom really hugged my hips and made the pleats and tummy part poof out. Now that I look at the photos I've collected of the Sunset tank, it seems like the bottom may be kind of snug around the hips even if you are in your right size. Maybe not if you're built like the web model, but it is hugging the hips in the women in the above photos and I can't say the upper portion of the tank looks too tight on any of them. So, I think if you are curvy and tend towards a pear-shape this tank won't work for you. Or, maybe it will work for you, if you don't mind the pleats poofing out. I didn't care for it on me, but YMMV.

Anywhoo, I am looking forward to seeing what new items hit the stores this week. I was able to find a Unicorn Tears Scoop Neck tank in my size on Friday so I don't have a huge burning desire to buy something new but I might have picked up the Disco CRB if Irvine had had it. I had visited the Newport store on Wednesday after spin class to see if they got the UT Scoop Neck but they didn't have it. I did end up getting a Violaceous Dance headband that day, though. On Friday I drove down to the Laguna Showroom to see if they had it by any chance. The ladies there were very nice but the showroom is very small and had a lot of older stuff (like the Senorita and Static Coal Power Y and Oasis Swiftly tanks from the summer). I was kind of surprised how old the stuff was because when I visited the Tucson showroom this summer they had a lot of new stuff. I stopped by the Newport store on the way back from Laguna just in case someone returned a UT Scoop Neck and it turned out they had one. I have never had to hunt down a tank like this before but I think this was a case of the size twelve arriving after the bulk of sizes showed up. I had thought it was weird that both Irvine and Newport were sold out of the twelve. Irvine only had a couple of UT Scoop Neck tanks left at the store today so it's definitely popular.

I just bought the record breaker crops, they are a great fit, and seams are very flattering for someone with athletic thighs, mid rise. They hit the middle of my calves and I am 5"4 and they were true to size, I got my usual size 8
The Record Breakers look nice in the photos. I am bummed I didn't at least see them. I'll have to remember to check them out next time I am at the store but I am kind of tired of running to the store since I've been so many times in the past two weeks. I'm ready for a little break. ;-)
Hey Luluaddict, you haven't posted about the polocross crops lately! - I tried them on yesterday in store, they are TTS, and the seam on the bum is very flattering :)
I find there is a major shortage of 12 tops. Any suggestions as to how to find them? Have called all over & it seems I am just hour/day late
There are some fantastic photos of the Sunset Tank on the Lululemon Masonville facebook page. It shows exactly the body type you need to have to look good in that tank: the girl is gorgeous, but has the hips of a 12 year old boy. She definitely embodies the 30 Rock dream!
Wait, this is the first I've heard about a Disco CRB. From your description, it sounds like another hot pink color? I'm still kicking myself that I never bought a Senorita CRB, so this could fill a hole in my closet. Any more details?
Amber, it's on sale on eBay. Looks very close to Senorita Pink.

@Amber : I was referring to the Disco CRB.
This top would be great for preggos and that is it!
@ Amber - I think Disco is the renamed Senorita pink. It's very pretty.
@ anon 4:14 am - I keep forgetting about the Polocrosse crops. If they are in my local stores, they are hanging up and not put out on a table where I would notice them right away. I don't recall any of the educators walking around wearing them either. I'll have to make a mental note to look for them next time I visit the stores.
Disco is an old color...summer palette in 2009. little bit "bluer" than senorita pink but still pretty.

I picked up a pair of record breakers yesterday. They are fairly TTS, I range between a 6 and an 8 and got an 8 in these. I found the waist a bit tight in the 6 but I think the 8's aren't as snug on the legs as I would like. I guess I'll find out when I go for a run. I like the Strata/ Violacious ones better than the UT ones, the recessed seam on the UT's is a beigey colour that just didn't do it for me.
Thanks ladies for the info on Disco. Guess I'll be making a run to my local store to try to grab this tank. :)
Amber, I was wondering the same thing! I frantically googled "Disco Cool Racerback", (found nothing) and was about to post the question when I saw yours and the answers :) What a cute colour pink!! I just ordered the violacious CRB but now I wish I waited for this "disco" one, it's adorable!
uuuuugly...
I bought Polocrosse crops completely surprising myself, because I don't need them. They were too flattering to my bum to leave in the store! Also found a snorkel in heathered pink for my daughter (gorgeous colour) and bought the Inner Strength in UT after going there specifically to find the Scoop Neck in UT. Go figure, but I have lots of Scoops. Managed to snag a Dance Studio Jacket in Coal which is absolutely gorgeous and have a Pure Balance in black on order. Also bought the Pure Focus Tank in Black and was surprised to size down in that one (I'm normally an 8 in Scoop and PushR's, 6 in most else). Best of all, I bought the Pace Setter LS in Snorkel and have been in it almost every day since. LOVE IT! I was impressed with the inventory in the store (Ottawa) that I've only seen on your blog (not avail. online). Keep up the great updates, I check you out daily.
