More Comments on the Fit of the Pure Balance

Not to pick on this woman by using her photo, but the straps on the Pure Balance seem a bit on the long side/are not supportive so if your boobs need some lift from the straps to ride high, you are not going to find it with this tank. The Pure Balance is kind of engineered to have your boobs go off to the side, or at least look like they are heading towards your armpits. If you are young and/or still perky or have had a lift, then this tank will be fine on you, but if your girls need a little help, this tank may not work so well for you.

i agree, this top is not very supportive at all. i definitely would need some fake boobs for this top to work... haha

Yeah my poor empty mommy boobs did not look pretty in this at all. I love the tank and I tried going up/down adding cups and everything and still had sad boobies!

I'm a 32a and I would be uncomfortable wearing this. I haven't tried this on but I would need a 2 for sure and the only way it would work was if the straps were adjustable. A pass for me.

I'm a 32C and wear a 4 in the power y. I tried this on in a 4 and it pushed my boobies up way too much for me to be comfortable in (like they were totally in your face). The 4 also felt really tight just below my boobs so I imagine most people would have to size up in this.

@ anon 6:17 pm - I just read a review of a size 4 Pure Balance tank on the This Just In FB group and she said the straps were tight and it gave her better support than a Power Y. Maybe the 4s in this tank run small or something because I thought the fit was spot on in the 12 I tried on. In fact, the bra band felt very low support/loose. I also thought the straps felt long but maybe they were just stretchy.

I bought a size 4 Pure Balance tank today in coal. I am normally a size 4 (and a 32A) and this tank fit me true to size, I do not think it runs small. Maybe I look kind of flat chested in it but I still like it. I tried it on at home with a pair of khaki shorts and it looked cute, it will be good street wear for me I think,

oh and by the way, I agree the straps were tight in the size 4. Not sure I'd say it gives more support than a power Y but the straps are not loose.

I found the opposite. I am a 34D, and I wear a 4 in the power Y. I find the power Y tank kind of smooshes my girls, but I don't really mind because at least it is somewhat supportive. I found the pure balance tank to be not nearly as supportive for me, and I had to pull the straps up and back so that I wouldn't have sad boobs :(

Well I HAVE had a lift and this top did nothing for me! I'm a 34C-D and there was not enough support for newly perky boobs either. I think it is for the very small-chested girls, and probably makes them look great.

As a 34DD I looked like I was about to pop out of this tank :(. It looks so cute on the hanger, but I felt like a stripper with it on.

I'm a 32C and I rocked this top! So much so that my husband has barred me from wearing it out of the house... Am between a 2-4, and bought the 4.

This tank is awful. Sorry. It's super ugly.

Actually it's adorable and I've gotten tons of compliments (from GIRLS not guys staring at my chest ;o) There's not much to stare at, seeing as I'm a 32B. But the delicate material at the bust looks GREAT.
