Wren Dance Studio Pant (unlined)
Calm and Cozy Sweater - It's $88 and comes in Concord Grape, Black, Heathered Sand Dune. It's a bamboo / cashmere blend. I love how it looks on the lady with the willowy figure in the above photos. I tend to spend 98% of my luludollars on technical wear so this will most likely be a pass for me but it's cute. I wouldn't mind this in a cotton version. I am just death on knit things.
The West 4th Street Facebook site has a great series of photos of the latest clothes doing realistic activities like going for a run. I just love this photo for some reason.
Ikat Reflection Visor on a real person. Blech. However, I would love a baseball cap in the striped Sprikler pattern.
New Live Simply Tee in Sprinkler Stripe. Another West 4th photo. I think this lady should model for the website - she wears the clothes really well and is very natural in her poses.
The Vinyasa Scarf is back. I wonder if it will come to Southern California. I missed it the last time and regret not buying myself a running luon blankie. ;-(
The Flow and Go is back in Black and White but I have to say, I saw quite a few of them on the markdown rack the last time they were here.

The wren DSPs are wonderful. They look so nice with brights against them as well.
yep. i'm gettin' em. any word on if they run large?
@LuLuAddict, the flow and go, you mentioned was in canada, is it back in the us stores as well?
Craaap, I was hoping not to want to buy anything from Lulu for awhile. Sigh. Love the Wren DSPs and the hooded sweater.
Lovely photos. I think these latest items are passes for me, though. I saw the Calm and Cozy pullover at my local store, but I think it's too long for me. I may have to get some item in heathered sand dune, however.
I really love the vinyasa scarf (in fact, I'm wearing it right now), but I hate that they marked it up this go around ($32-$38). I feel like it didn't get popular until after they had finally sold out. I got my citron one when there were a stack of them for $19 that they couldn't get rid of.
I missed the flow & go the first time around. It is very sexy, I wonder how practical it is for working out??
I think the flow & go did better in Canada than the US and I love mine in citron. I will use mine mostly for summer walks as I need more support for high-intensity workouts. Thinking of getting another in black this time. Does anyone know the price? I wonder if it's also been marked up from the $52 last round.
As for that cashmere/wool shirt, it is pretty but to be honest it's pretty expensive for a shirt that looks like it could have come from any store. It's not special enough for me to spend the extra $ on it but I know many of you disagree!
Does the Flow and Go fit the same as the No Limit? I bought a 6 in the No Limit and it was a little loose but the 4 was a little tight so I'm not sure which way to go...
I agree with the annonymous above! There is nothing special about the cashmere/wool shirt, looks like you could find it for much cheaper in a different brand...$88 is a lot considering the look of it.
I think I want both the wren studio pants and the calm and cozy pullover. The purple is really pretty.
@cupcakesandlipgloss24
Which colour no limit did you try? I take an 8 in both (no limit and flow & go) so I would say the fit is the same. The aruba NLT fit larger though so I found myself between a 6 and an 8 but not liking the fit of either (got the 8 in white).
Sigh - I need to see the Wren DSP's in person...I've been a bit mad at Lulu as of late so I promised I wouldn't buy anymore for a while - but those Wren DSP's may do me in if I love the color. I'm a sucker for the swift fabric.
Just a rant - I wore my Run:Ambition pullover the other day, the THIRD time I've worn it (washed it once) and there is a HOLE in the cuff at the seam! I'm so mad because I haven't used it much and it was a $100 item! I do believe that Lulu will fix it if I take it in, but it's still a pain. Also, my brushed stride, which I love - has been worn once and is pilling. I'm not one to complain much about pilling because I do understand the abrasion issue and that fabric will pill after wearing - but COME ON, I have worn it ONCE! There is no reason clothes should look old and worn after ONE WEARING. I'm off luon (and possibly luxtreme) now. Ugh.
Ugh, went to lulu in houston and no calm and cozy sweaters yet! any thoughts as to if they might show up in tomorrow's upload??
whoever is taking the photos and doing the styling at west 4th should take over for the website!
calm and cozy looks great on the willowy types, for sure. i wish it could be made in cotton, too. i snag their knits too easily.
i will definitely get Wren DSP. i was hoping my local store would get them but as of yesterday they were not in yet.
i hope they will be uploaded online tmrw.
i can pass other new stuff.
and patiently still waiting for CRBs to be restocked..!
they are core items and no pretty colors available right now. SO SAD.
kind of off topic, but does anyone know if there is an outlet store in las vegas? I thought I heard that there was.
I picked up the Wren DSPs today, I love them. They fit exactly like the raw blue DSPs. I've been waiting for a color like this so I'm really happy to have them. I bought the static and black vinyasa scarves. Not sure I need the black but they will sell out so quickly. Tried on the C&C sweater and it's not for me, it kind of looked like menswear and nothing special. Also I have a sand dune Live Healthy Wrap and I think that's enough for me in this knit and color palette.
Has anyone seen the vinyasa scarves in a U.S. store? I NEED one but my Chicago area store didn't sound like they were getting those or the calm and cozy.
The Wren DSPs are thin compared to the previous years pants.
Ok I caved. I went to the NB store today and they had a few bottoms on markdown (challenge shorts, repetition crops, some running crops (can't remember the name right now) and still crops) - and I ended up buying the outward bound pants on markdown. Probably overkill for So Cal, but I don't plan on using them for running - mostly keeping warm at early morning little league games - they are SO comfy cozy! I tried on the Wren DSP's and they aren't different enough from my Coal DSP's for me to drop another $100 on pants. They are cute though!
Just an FYI for everyone:
I may have said this on the comments before (and I've kind of become a crazy person about this since I work in fabrics) - but Bamboo knit is rayon. I don't know the Canadian laws on labeling fabrics, but the US government has been cracking down on items labeled "Bamboo" because while it is in fact made with Bamboo pulp it is still technically a rayon as it has to go through the rayonization process to make it into a fiber. This also means that it is not eco-friendly (rayon production is one of the biggest pollution problems in the world)...I also find Bamboo/Rayon to be a weaker fiber.
Ok, with that out of the way...I'm not terribly excited about any of the Lulu stuff lately. I want to see more items in Margarita! I love that bright green!
@ellie: I agree!! I am dying for some more pow pink... What a great color combo: pow pink and margarita!
@Ellie, I agree! :) I've been waiting for solid Margarita in CRB and flow y bra. I think the color will make a great accent in outfits.
Love the Vinyasana Scarf. I got all 3 from the first release (The Citron I wasn't going to get but when they went on sale I could resist no longer). So of course I picked up the new black one. Love love LOVE them. I'm really hoping to see them come out with more colors, specifically some dark and light purple ones.
Okay- I bought the wren dsp's today. I'm am a size 4/6. I take 4's in most of my pants, but can wear 6's too. I found the 4 dsp wren to be to tight across my rear. I was surprised because I've everyone talking about how you should size down or that they run a little big. I found them extremely long inseam, but I had to take a 6. They are BEAUTIFUL. But I'm so glad I tried them on because I would have ordered a 4 online tomorrow and then been in trouble. So, IMO if you are a true true 4, then get the 4, but if you are a 4/6, just take the 6. The fabric is too thin to have a tight look like other pants.
I am almost certain that the girl with the cool haircut does model for the site... I think I have seen her do scubas before?

I'm pretty sure this is here in the multi poncho scuba :o)
@ anon 12:18 pm - Shut the Front Door!!!! An outlet store in Vegas? I am leaving right now! I have not heard of one but I will google and find out. Any Vegas people read this blog? Is there one? We are the only corner of the US without an outlet - there is one in Long Island, Florida, and Washington State. I will be so excited if there is one.
