A fanny pack?! Is this really happening?

NOOO! Bad lulu! It was bad enough when they stopped including the longer strap with the travel pooch- but this new incarnation takes it full-force into the fannypack direction (with confidence) and...is...just...not good.

Glorified fanny pack.

If this was a little purse instead of a fanny pack, I would so get it. :(

Hate to start international issues but maybe its a Canadian thing. Do they like/use the fanny pack?

Tacky print (sorry, Ikat fans, but I must respectfullly dissent) on 80's has-been accessory. This is not progress.

@ 12:03 pm - I don't think it's a Canadian thing. I think some people find fanny packs a necessary evil if they want to carry a phone, keys, and wallet while they are taking long walks or hikes or doing other activities and wnat their hands free / don't want to mess with a purse/backpack. I don't lululemon would come out with them unless they felt there was a market. I see lots of people with fanny packs when I go to Disneyland.

My sister use to use a Kelty fanny pack diaper bag when she would take her kids hiking. Amphipod offers modified fanny packs for marathoners.

Not a fan of the Ikat but am a huge fan of the fanny pack. I think the time is ripe to bring it back!

I have to say I am a fan of being hands-free with a fanny pack, but I insist on ones that are not the typical fanny pack design. I have the travel pooch from this past fall in black - I've worn it to Disneyland and love it. Every time I wear it I get compliments and people asking where I got it. I also like the Gucci and LV "waistbags", though. I find them chic and incredibly useful.

I do NOT, however, like the design of this bum bag. It's too fanny pack obvious.

Agree with Michelle Q. I think fanny packs are very useful and "can" be cute (LV and gucci as well as the last travel pooch with the ruching) But this style is just plain 80s fanny - they should have used a cuter design.

Luluaddict - As a half marathon runner, I am appalled (well, not really) at your reference to runners' "modified fanny-packs". They are fuel belts!!! Totally different! LOL!

This Lulu Fanny Pack might look cute over the shoulder? They should have done something more fashionable.....

@ LisaLuvsLulu - LOL.

Love it! Own it in the black and it goes everywhere with me on my bike and vacations. I wear it slung over my shoulders like a mini backpack. Thanks Lulu!!
