Pic - Energize Pant on a Mannequin

My previous photos of the new version of the Energize pant didn't show the back seams which are the most interesting part of the pant. The new photos show the cute details on the back of these pants.

New! Awareness Wrap

The new Awareness Wrap is similar to the Savasana Wrap but is supposed to fit a little snugger. It has ribbing in the arms. The color code for this is PLUMsesyBLRO = Plum Seaspray Black Roses Print. It will priced at $118. The colors will be coal/lilac/black roses print, plum/sea spray/black roses print (shown), black/whisper/black roses print. The sizes will be 2-10 (?).

Product Details:

  • This long, loose-fit style is great for layering on the way to the studio and ideal as a blanket during savasana!
  • Our own blend of breathable cotton french terry with stretch so it won't bag out!
  • Use one, two, three or all snaps to customize fit
  • Cozy side pockets to keep your hands warm
  • Preshrunk so there are no surprises when washed!

New Colors - Brushed Define Jackets and Gather & Crow Crops (+ More)

New Brushed Defines in Lilac, Teal Zeal, and Wish Blue

The new Defines have the "brushed" luon (not the Wish Blue, though) which is a bit warmer than regular. I've tried on before, it does seem a little thicker and warmer.

Belt It Up Pant - Tight through the booty and looser in the lower leg. I'd love to see this in one size up on this woman but I wonder if they'd then be too baggy in the legs. It looks plenty loose in the lower leg part and her rear and thighs look in proportion with her lower legs. I wonder if these have an odd fit.

New - Cuddle Up Jacket (the Cozy Up's Cousin)

I wasn't really liking the first photos I saw of the Cuddle Up Jacket but it is growing on me. The Cuddle Up is a Scuba without a hood, similar to last year's Cozy Up. I certainly hope it fits more roomy through the tummy and chest than last year's Cozy Up. I will have to try it on since I would like a hoodless jacket. They are $108.

I'm not a big teal person, but I like it in this jacket.

New - Energize Pants Are Back - Yay!

I see the Energize Pant is back this year. I bought a pair last year and really like them. I thought the seaming in the back was so cute and flattering. However, they have gotten rid of the back pocket. That was one of my favorite things on the pant. I wonder if they changed the inner leg seam. It had a weird flap on it. Also, the pants run extra long and they bag up around your calf like built in leg warmers. The pants are $98 and come in black, black pique luon, static coal, and coal. Although I really like the feel of pique luon (very soft) I never managed to buy anything in it last year. Can anyone comment on how it wears?

Some Energize Pant Photos from Last year:

New Item - Run Dash Crops - Nice!

The new Run: Dash Crops are a crop without the puckering up the sides of the thigh. Is Lululemon getting away from that I wonder? I guess I could go either way on that since I have both types of crops. The waistband looks nice and wide - I love fatter waistbands!  I'm not a fan of the circle mesh panel at the bottom but I like the reflective stripe. I'm going to have to try these on. They are $86.

Power Dance Tank - Review of First Wearing to the Gym

I wore my new Power Dance Tank to spin class this morning. I liked it for the most part but thought it was a little warm compared to my other lightweight, breathable tanks. I wore my Champion Powerback bra underneath for extra support. Doubling up on bras in a tank that already has a built in bra usually gets rather constricting but it didn't bother me until about around 3 pm.  The bra straps stick out a little bit at the bottom and top of the racerback part but since it was a black bra under the gray space dye top I didn't think it looked that bad. The tank was very comfortable and I really liked how it looked when I checked my reflection in the mirror in class. Since I was essentially stationary on the bike, I thought the sheer luon kept the hot air a bit trapped around my stomach and didn't breathe nearly as well as the circle mesh in my No Limits tank. The sheer luon also will definitely showcase heavy perspiration. I wasn't super hot in the tank but I knew I could feel cooler if I had worn a circle mesh tank. Of course, that is Lululemon's most breathable and wicking tank. I'm sure wearing this tank to an aerobics type class where the bottom would flap around would make it feel a bit cooler and be an awesome choice. I will definitely wear it again to spin class, particularly since it's not a really hot time of year. All in all I am very happy with the Power Dance tank - it's super comfortable and a very unique look in the gym.
