Saw this thread on facebook! Can't wait to see them. Though with a possible 33" inseam, I'd have to get them hemmed and would lose the bottom drawstring.
Let's hope that they are more flattering than the Dog Whisperer Pant-Nothing like putting a HUGE pocket at the widest part of the thigh...duh.
I can't believe this news on the exact day I take the tags off my dog whisperer pants! Oh well, I do love them. The pocket hits well below my widest part so the pants fall straight down from the hip to the floor on me. Much more flattering than I expected them to be. And I won't run in them so a running specific pair would be great
I've bought pants with the drawstring hem at the bottom and have taken them into Lulu and they have hemmed them for me but kept the drawstring hem. I think they just sew it back in.
If I would have known there were no pictures out yet I would have taken one when I tried these on at the Mall of America store yesterday. A quick review of these....they were thick and would keep you quite warm for running. They weren't at all like the dog whisper pants (which I also tried on)because the inside was fleece, not two separate layers, like the DW pants. The cut of the leg was much slimmer and they were boot cut, more like the run ultra pant(although I haven't tried those on). They were TTS and didn't seem too long for me (5'6") so 33" seemed about right.
@Becky C - Thanks for the info! I'm glad to hear they are not two separate layers. I'm hoping they are similar to last years Windsprint Pant - I love those and would snap up another pair in a second!
@becky c- thanks! They do sound promising. Except the bootcut part. They might be flattering, but they aren't ideal for running. All that swishing around your lower legs is irritating.
@SV Good point about the swishing. I should have tried running with them to see if the legs touched. It does seem like the would, maybe not while walking but for running I would think so. It seemed like a similar leg cut to the Tadasana pant but obviously a very different material/fit. They did make the butt look quite good....I got some oohs and ahs from the educator and another customer, even though its not exactly one of my best assets.
