Cuddle Up Pant

Balance Pullover

I'll be honest, these photos show the wool looking kind of rough without any wear or washing. It could be those are loose threads, though. Will it only get rougher with wear? For comparison here are some photos of the Icebreaker Bodyfit 260 from

Icebreaker 260

I think this print is one of those where you have to pick and choose to get a good version.

LuluAddict: I am so happy you brought this point up about the Balance Pullover. I tried this on yesterday and the wool is rough and scratchy, and when I paired with the LS Dash I started to get hot, merino wool is supposed to be a breathable fabric. When I brought this up to the Educator, she said the pullover is meant to be a base layer wtf? if it were true merino wool it would be breathable. I found this top to be cheaply made but a very flattering fit, the price is too much for this. It was also pilling on the hanger.

Sorry to be so long winded, I had to share.

That print of the Candlelight tank is growing on me! The girl in the photo looks great in it. Maybe the busy print will distract from the inevitable sweat stains when working out in a cotton tank. :P
Wish my store would get this in already.

Bummer to hear that lulu cheaped out on the fabric for the merino top. I love the style of the Balance Pullover, if only the exact design was in tech fleece (ahem...spirit pulloverrrr that I love) or even running luon.

OT - Do you get product notification from Saskatoon? There are some new items like the Chai Pullover, Challenge Tank and Cool Racerback SE.

The Cool Racerback SE has ruffles at the back. Ugh..

I am a huge fan of Icebreaker merino and it is all I wear as a base layer in the winter and I wear their lightweight stuff in the summer. It is not itchy at all. Also, there are a lot of environmental concerns with wool such as the bleaching process, that Icebreaker works very hard to mitigate. I haven't tried Lulu's merino, but honestly, I wouldn't bother with it. Merino should be soft and cozy, not scratchy. Also, Icebreaker doesn't pill. I'm not paid by them, I just love their stuff. I love Lulu too, but I'm skipping their merino.
