the inspire and the dash just look so similar in the static colors. i already have the inspire and i was hoping the next pullover would be completely different, enough so i would have incentive to buy. i am just going to hold off and see what comes out over the next couple weeks.
Do you have the link? I can't find them on ebay anywhere for 99.
It's on the US side of ebay. Search for item number 380286790627
And once you find the item, do See Other Items. I've bought from her before. I'm sure she'll ship to Canada. If you look at the feedback she has Canadian and Australian buyers.
Is it in stores? Hmmm. Do you think this ebay seller is an "insider"?
I've bought from her before -- very professional and I think she works there b/c she also sells stuff when it's on sale.
She's a great seller-fair and ships quickly :-).
The question is...which color to get! Thank you for sharing :)And -- if you have Bank of America (Add it Up) or Ebates-- you can get 1-3% cash back if you launch your purchase through either of those sites -- something you can't do when I buy directly from Lulu.
It is very poor planning to offer the run dash pullover in the same colors as the very similar run inspire pullover.
i like the detailing on the inspire pullover better. wrist ruffles are not as good as collar ruching.
I agree with pilatesmom. They are limiting their market by providing the same colors as the inspire. Those who has the inspire in these colors are unlikely to buy the dash. Am waiting for the wish blue. It will be my 1st pullover from lulu and am excited.
I agree, it's odd they chose to use some of the same colors (I guess wish blue and persimmon will be new, if they show up). It's not the ruffle specifically that I'm interested in - it's the reflective tape on the fore arms. I think I'm leaning toward a solid color... or maybe teal zeal. The color blocking for Teal Zeal seems less high-contrast compared with the static black one. (But of course Teal Zeal is not on ebay in my size).
I am waiting for persimmon to show up, I bought the CRB at my local store the other day, and I really love it, so looking forward to the dash in this color. And I agree that the reflective strips makes this a very appealing!
Ugh so SICK of freaking static! Enough! Gimme solid wish blue already
Ditto! Am sick of the static.
@RunningonCoffee- I bought the teal zeal inspire and took it back because the circle mesh is quite contrasty (more so than the photos suggest). I went with the lilac because it's much less obvious. I hope this helps with your decision!
I don't mind that it's static, I'm just sick of solid color blocking with static. At least it's less than the inspire.
I want some solid colours- I have two static tops, and that enough -static is this years space dye!!!
I just read a post on FB that said the Dash Pullover is available through phones sales in the US. The woman said she bought one last night. Hmmm. I may try to order one tomorrow morning.
They had both lilac and teal zeal at my gym and i loved them both. I didn't think either of them had such noticeable color contrast with the mesh (at least not as much as the static lolo, static plum and static black). I loved the lilac, but it is really light so I was afraid every little smudge, mark, etc. would show up on it. It is a gorgeous color though.
Those of you who tried on the Dash Pullover - does it fit similar to the Inspire (or Hills or Energy) Pullover?
I just bought a wish one today in NYC. Probably shouldn't have b/c I already have 2 of the inspire, but I just can't resist running luon :). Also really liked the Persimmon, but they didn't have it in my size. I also saw brushed grooves there, but not the new running pant, sadly.
I will likely pass on this pullover. I think the Dash items just have too much going on for me (seaming, color-blocking, ruffles). Also I need cold weather running gear, this might have been a great fall item but that season is over for me. I will be more likely to buy something like the Outward Bound pant just showing up.
It is much cheaper to do one large color run of fabric of limited colors than several smaller runs,of many different colors. Another reason why Lulu's numbers look so good (they HAD to change vendors in China for their luon over the past three years-hence the pilling and fraying issues).Lulu is a much more "disposable" product than it used to be (diminished quality, trendy details as opposed to the stellar quality and classic designs of the past). Thanks Christine Day :(.
I also found this to be very similar to the inspire pullover. I found the luon pullover might be too warm for SoCal weather. I like the luxtreme pullover way better. However, it's going to be hard for me to resist getting this in wish blue....
OT, but doesn't this look a lot like the old Run Brisk LS at least in style: http://www.roadrunnersports.com/rrs/products/RRL1083/#long_description
How much is this pullover anyone know??
@KaraIs the wish static or solid?
Thanks for the input from those who have seen the Dash pullover!Off Topic- Meredith Vieira wore the Senorita Pink Run: Inspire Jacket in the NYC Marathon yesterday. Check it out:http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/al-roker-and-meredith-vieira-nyc-marathon-champs_b38588
and brisk earwarmer?
Wish blue is solid! Love it. I'm sick of the static at the moment.
I called the GEC 2x today - no luck ordering one. The first time they said to check back Wed, the next time to check back Thur. One offered to order me one but said the order would likely be cancelled.
Also called GEC to check Canadian side and she said to call back Wed morning...
I heard that it is static blue.
Well-- mine's not static (wish), I promise :). It's definitely solid. I'll send a pic if I ever leave work tonight!
Do you love the pullover Kara? Worth the money?
They have BOTH static and solid wish blue in the dash pullover. The persimmon is yucky. It's an old lady peach-ish colour... Looks good in the coal/persimmon tank, but not as a full long sleeve top. The static coal actually looks quite good - the underarm panels aren't overly contrasty, unlike the other statics.
I'd love to see a photo of the Static Wish Pullover. The static coal, too.
