Does anyone know/heard if anything new is going to show up in the stores this week? Or, are we going to see endless photos of Fireside jackets, Recharge tanks, and Run: Cross Train Pullovers? I totally have Lulu-ADD and need something new to look at. ;-)
So, I'm wondering if the underwear is climbing up a stationary mannequin's buns, will it climb up my buns, too? Anyone try these yet?

I was in the Pasadena store on Friday and got them straight from the box! While I'm really looking for more technikinis, I thought I'd give these a shot.
They're very different from the technikinis. No replacement. But quite nice. They're a bit stretchy, but not as much as the technikinis/thongs. Very soft and smooth and seamless. Apparently wicking too.
As soon as I put them on, I was pretty sure that 1) I'd gotten the wrong size (minimal bum coverage...like booty hot shorts), but if I'd sized up, they would have been too big around.
I wore them out under tight jeans, and they stayed put quite comfortably all night, with a lot of walking to and from the metro station.
I'm not sure they'd work for me for working out, but I generally just stick to straight up Lulu pants. Yes they ride up...but they don't turn into a thong/wedgie, and they stay put so it's kind of okay how they ride up and hover just above everything they need to cover. ...?
I'd say if you like the hotshort style, give them a shot. They're high quality, as almost all of Lulu is.
I bought a pair and don't love them - because on me they definitely ride up. The fabric is nice and quality is good, but the cut does not offer enough coverage in the back for me and they shifted around a lot. If you have ever tried Commando brand undies, these are pretty much identical.
I was disappointed. I love the featherlight boyshorts and I am afraid Lulu has dropped those for these undies, which for me are not going to be a good replacement.
Those look like a wedge waiting to happen.
Thanks for the reviews, Liz & ChiRunner, I may give them a try but I think I am going to try and hunt down a couple more pairs of Technikinis in case they go away.
I'm bored with all the stuff that has has been released this week. Usually after 2 weeks, I am craving for new colors. Somebody mentioned that the next batch of colors will come out in September. I don't think I can wait that long.
Tried on the fireside jacket today. Fug.
@ M...
Did you receive your Lolo Scuba yet?
@ Pilatesmom...
"Fug" LMAO!
i am beyond bored with all this new stuff... the prices are high and designs arent that great. I did just read about the new colors in the fall... lolo , river rock and sen pink.. in the inspire pullover maybe? I can't wait to see them.. I will for sure snatch up the river rock and lolo purple one! hoping for some nice long running pants for winter and of course the inspire. I could also go for the scuba in a solid lolo purple as well! getting tired of seeing the same pic's all over FB and Blogs.. need new colors and items fast!!! :)
Bought the Fouette Tank yesterday and I'm thinking of returning it because I think I kinda of look pregno. It appears to balloon out. Does anyone have this problem?
@Anon 5:13 - I passed on the Fouette tank for the same reason. It poufed out in the front (and in the back a bit) and the poufiness combined with the slightly too long length made me look prego.
@ Zanna - I don't want to wait that long either. I'm DYING for the Run Inspire Pullover to come out. The Run Cross Train just didn't do it for me!
@ Becky - it's arriving TOMORROW!! :)
My iconic wrap arrived today. Love it. Got my regular size (don't size down). Finally got to try on the outfit I've been wanting to put together : static charcoal flow y bra under faded zap CRB, charcoal grey iconic wrap, denim polocrossepants, black fiorentini & baker riding boots. Smokin'!
@pilatesmom- for the fireside jacket, did you try on your regular size or size down? I read a review that said sizing down for a more fitted look was much cuter. Haven't seen it for myself in real life yet though.
New colors in September!?!? I hope there are new tanks coming in the current colors, then. I don't really care for anything except the Fouette tank now.
About new colors, I have the new InStyle Makeover magazine (Fall 2010) and it features the Wunder Groove Crops as the Most Flattering Workout Pant Ever. The photo shows the Wunder Groove in black with a quilting band of what looks like seniorita pink, a deeper pink, a red and a light pale grey/tan. I don't know if this is an old pair but I don't recall this color combination in recent months. I have not seen Seniorita pink in awhile or anything like it so maybe it's coming back (as previous poster mentioned) along with these redish, pinkish, tan/grey tones.
@runningoncoffee: i read the same blog review on sizing down with the fireside jacket. that rave review was the reason i even tried the jacket on because it didn't appeal to me AT ALL on the hangar. I tried on both my usual size 6 and a size 4 (I am a person that does size down to a four occasionally in jackets and tops but usually only when something runs generous to begin with). My verdict: no way size down/stick with your normal size. This jacket is not oversized at all. The four was super short in the torso and just plain tight and illfitting overall. The 6 was spot on the right size.
I bought the iconic tank and had to size down....way too much material under the arms and I had to yank up the sleeves to make them the right length and it looked awful...I had fabric bumps from my shoulder right down to my wrist!
The lady at the store had to size up b/c she had big arms....I think this is really a wrap you need to try on. Depending on your shape, you may be TTS or need to size up....and yes, even size down!
I loved the fouette tank. I am short and petite and usually tops of this design make me look prenant, but this one did not at all.
